Abstract

Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees are reported to have many bioactivities, including antibacterial, hepatoprotective, antimalarial, antihypertensive, antipyretic, antithrombolytic, and other pharmacological effects. This study aims to determine the benefits of the active compound Andrographis paniculata in inhibiting the activity of the enzyme glucosyltransferase. This research method was carried out in silico on 3AIC receptors using Chimera, ChemDraw Ultra 12.0, MGLtools, Autodock4, Biovia Discovery Studio, and Toxtree software. The results showed that of the 12 test compounds, the AP11 compound has the lowest ∆G free bond energy of -8.5KKal/mol, lower than natural ligands, and more hydrogen bonds than natural ligands, MES. Therefore, it can be concluded that the AP11 compound has the most potential to inhibit glucosyltransferase receptors

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools and software are very easy to find and some of them can be accessed for free. There are various types of AI-based tools and software that can be used to increase student interest and learning experience. This activity aims to increase students' knowledge about the use of tools and software to support the science learning process. This activity is descriptive and experimental, starting from the process of delivering material, simulating the use of tools and software, and discussions. The number of participants was 29 students and 3 science teachers in the science classrooms and laboratories of SMAS Immim Putra Makassar.

Abstract

Perawatan dilakukan selama 7 hari. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Uji One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA).

Abstract

Molecular docking studies of stigmasterol (test ligand) and estradiol (control ligand) against the ER-α receptor were performed using PyRx software. This study aims to determine the interaction between stigmasterol ligands and ER-α receptors by the molecular docking method using PyRx. The study results show that stigmasterol and estradiol have the same binding energy value of -7.3 kcal/mol. The stigmasterol compound could therefore be used as a candidate for breast cancer drugs.

Abstract

This community service program focused on utilizing swimming crab shell waste as an innovative solution to reduce livestock feed costs and environmental issue in the Padatuo community group, Bone regency. The activity aimed to enhance participants knowledge and skills in processing the waste into high-nutrient feed flour through practical simulation method. The approach involved three stages: (1) observation and needs analysis; (2) simulation of flour production including washing, boiling, drying and grinding; and (3) evaluation through pre-test and post test. The results showed a significant improvement in participants understanding, with post-test score (86.2) far higher than pre-test score (42.6). Participants successfully produced quality flour with fine texture, non offensive odor, and high mineral content. Economic impacts included up to 30% reduction in feed costs, while environmental benefits were achieved through waste reduction. This activity demonstrates that participatory simulation-based approach are effective in empowering communities and creating sustainable solution.
