Abstract

The organization of tourism education is now important for the administration of gastronomic tourism. Vocational High Schools in the field of food expertise have a significant role in the development and promotion of gastronomic tourism in Bandung. Bandung has various types of food and drinks. At present, there is no mapping of gastronomic education in Bandung. The purpose of this research is to monitor the gastronomic mapping through the role of providing education namely the Vocational High School, diploma, and bachelor’s degree in the promotion and promotion of gastronomic tourism in Bandung. The research method used through the qualitative collection with secondary data collection techniques in the form of documentary evidence. The analytical method uses content analysis and descriptive. The results showed that gastronomy education was classified into three levels, namely vocational high school, diploma, and bachelor's degree. This study also maps the distribution of gastronomic education through the role of tourism education to promote gastronomy in Bandung

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran experiental marketing dalam upaya mempertahankan nilai sejarah di salah satu hotel bersejarah di Bandung, Savoy Homann Bidakara. Penanganan strategis guna melihat keunggulan dari sejarah hotel dan kendala yang dihadapi. Mengolahan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan observasi di hotel. Penelitian dilakukan selama enam bulan di salah satu hotel yang memiliki nilai sejarah di kota Bandung. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sejarah yang diimplementasikan melalui experiental marketing memperoleh nilai tinggi dengan sub variabel relate memperoleh nilai tertinggi dengan persentasi 20,3% menunjukkan tamu merasa senang dan meningkat prestigenya saat menginap karena merupakan hotel sejarah dengan sebutan tempat singgahnya para raja dan orang penting. Mempertahankan nilai sejarah menjadi keuntungan hotel dalam memasarkan produk hotel. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan mengkaji nilai sejarah hotel dalam perspektif yang berbeda, seperti brand, sumber daya manusia, pemerintah dan para ahli. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam menentukan strategi pemasaran bagi hotel bersejarah lainnya dan nilai sejarah yang harus dipertahankan dalam penggunaan bangunan warisan budaya Eropa.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to determine the effect of meal experience on revisit intention at Nasi Bancakan Abah Barna, Bandung City. Meal experience is a series of eating experiences that consumers feel from the time they enter the restaurant until they finish enjoying the food. The independent variable (X) is meal experience which has eight dimensions, namely food and drink, variety in menu choice, level of service, price and value for money, interior design, atmosphere and mood, location and accessibility and food and beverage service employee (Davis et al., 2018). While the dependent variable (Y) in this study is revisit intention with dimensions of likelihood to visit again, likelihood to recommend others, and likelihood to be the first choice for future visit (Ramukumba, 2018). This research uses quantitative and methods and explanatory survey. The results showed that simultaneously meal experience had a significant effect on revisit intention in Nasi Bancakan Abah Barna with a Fvalue of 6.498 Ftable of 2.04, therefore based on these results it is said that Fcount Ftable. Partial test results show that the dimensions of atmosphere and mood is obtained with tcount of 3.336 with Sig. 0.001 and the dimensions of location and accessibility is obtained with tcount of 2.486 with Sig. 0.015. These results show that the dimensions of atmosphere, mood, location, and accessibility on meal experience partially have a significant effect on revisit intention.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) graduates are directed to acquire certain skills that are needed by the industrial world, so that in the learning process, growing experience, visual stimulation, affective awareness, extracting cognitive information, and developing psychomotor skills is a must. The continuous learning process aims to support vocational development which includes exploring, strengthening, and preserving the talents of a student in pursuing a career in the world of work in vocational schools that is balanced with practical and theoretical abilities, this ability can be proven by a certificate of competence by each graduate. Digital learning for hospitality subjects at SMK Pariwisata is very much needed to support the practical abilities of students. The purpose of this research is to examine the development of a digital learning model of the hospitality learning which is expected to be able to produce a virtual space. The data techniques used were observation and interviews, using this type of qualitative research.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected several industries, one of which is the tourism industry such as hotels, restaurants, retailers and various tourist attractions in Indonesia being closed due to this pandemic. One of the affected tourist attractions is the Alamendah Tourism Village, which is located in Bandung Regency, West Java. This study aims to determine the marketing strategy as a recovery effort in the Alamendah Tourism Village during the COVID-19 pandemic. The marketing strategy carried out in this study is from the 7P aspect in the marketing mix, namely Product, Place, Promotion, Price, People, Physical Evidence, and Process. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods, the resource persons in this study consisted of the managers of the Alamendah Tourism Village, the Bandung Regency Culture and Tourism Office and Tourists. The results of this study indicate that the marketing strategy carried out by the Alamendah Tourism Village before and during this pandemic had positive changes, which initially only depended on offline marketing to become online and added new tour packages, namely Virtual Tours.

Abstract

Employee performance is very important for a company to realize the company's goals. Without good performance, it is difficult for a company to achieve optimal results. Optimizing human resources is the main focus of the organization in improving performance. So it can be said that human resources are a key factor in obtaining good performance. Front Office employees must carry out their roles and functions properly because otherwise the operations of other departments will be disrupted. Front Office employees must always maintain their good performance. However, in practice, there are still many obstacles experienced by Front Office employees, one of which is the performance factor in discipline, communication, and accuracy at work. So to analyze these problems, the authors made direct observations, designed and made a list of questions related to research, and disseminated them to Front Office employees at the Sintuk Bintang Hotel. Furthermore, the authors conducted interviews with the Front Office Manager and also Personnel and conducted a literature study to find and use the theoretical foundations related to the problem under study. The result of this research is that discipline gets a bad score, while communication and discipline are still in the category of adequate assessment. From these results, it is hoped that the hotel management will be open to suggestions given by employees so that communication can develop and run well and conduct regular training to get good Front Office employee performance.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran behavioral intention, gambaran heritage experiential quality, dan pengaruh dari heritage experiential quality terhadap behavioral intention pada tamu yang menginap di Hotel Savoy Homann. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey menggunakan systematic random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 120 yang merupakan tamu yang menginap di Hotel Savoy Homann.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analysis path yang mana mengukur pengaruh langsung dan juga tidak langsung. Kesimpulan menunjukan beberapa temuan yaitu: 1. Gambaran behavioral intention berada pada kategori baik 2. Gambaran heritage experiential quality berada pada kategori baik 3. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan secara simultan dan parsial diterima yang mana terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara heritage experiential quality yang terdiri dari physical experiential quality, interactional experiential quality, dan heritage aspect quality terhadap behavioral intention di Hotel Savoy Homann

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan produk unggulan ekonomi kreatif yang dapat bersaing secara nasional dan berdampak pada peningkatan ekonomi. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengembangan bisnis ekonomi kreatif melalui literasi digital mencakup keterampilan dan pengetahuan dalam aspek pemasaran dan produksi dalam berwirausaha. Metode dalam pendampingan ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan dengan pendekatan penyuluhan berupa transfer ilmu pengetahuan kepada mitra dan pendampingan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 22 peserta pelaku UMKM ekonomi kreatif dari 4 kelurahan di Kecamatan Panyileukan yaitu Kel. Mekar Mulya, Kel. Cipadung Kulon, Kel. Cipadung Wetan, Kel. Cipadung Kidul. Luaran dari hasil kegiatan ini secara fisik adalah media pemasaran digital berupa website, sosial media dan katalog digital ekonomi kreatif yang diproduksi dan dipasarkan melalui media digital. Sementara hasil non fisik mencakup peningkatan keterampilan literasi digital, teknik konten kreator, teknik foto produk, dan peningkatan skill diversifikasi produk. Melalui kegiatan ini peserta dapat meningkatkan kemampuan untuk memasarkan produk, skill serta pengetahuan masyarakat agar produk ekonomi kreatif naik kelas. Saran untuk kegiatan pengabdian pada masayarakat selanjutanya bisa memfasilitasi produk ekonomi kreatif untuk bisa menjadi produk unggulan destinasi wisata.

Abstract

Peningkatan pemberdayaan Pengelola Desa Wisata Alamendah sebagai mitra sasaran, membutuhkan beberapa upaya yang tidak mudah, namun upaya pendampingan penyusunan jalur geowisata berpeluang memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi mitra. Permasalahan utama pada kegiatan ini yaitu terbatasnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan Pengelola Desa Wisata Alamendah dalam pengembangan produk desa wisata melalui jalur geowisata. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pada diversifikasi produk wisata tematik, khususnya terkait pengetahuan konsep geowisata, serta keterampilan untuk penyusunan jalur geowisata. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan perolehan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis data kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan adanya peluang kerjasama dengan mitra industri di kawasan Desa Wisata Alamendah. Kesesuaian tujuan antara pengelola Desa Wisata Alamendah dan mitra industri tersebut yaitu pengembangan produk baru, yaitu geowisata. Kegiatan ini memberikan implikasi bagi para pengelola desa wisata di Indonesia dalam melakukan diversifikasi produk wisata berdasarkan pengembangan potensi yang ada sesuai karakteristik wilayahnya,
