Abstract

In an increasingly competitive era of globalization, business actors are required to be more selective in starting their business. One important step that must be taken is to conduct a business feasibility study, which covers various aspects, including market, technical, financial, management, and legal. The legal aspect is the main foundation that must be considered to ensure the continuity of business operations legally and avoid potential problems in the future. Consumer demand for quality food and beverage products is increasing, creating great opportunities for business actors. Chicken Crush, as a chicken-based culinary business, faces legal challenges ranging from business licensing to compliance with food safety standards. A business feasibility study is an important instrument in identifying crucial aspects that need to be considered. This article aims to analyze the legal aspects in a business feasibility study with a focus on the Chicken Crush case, and to show how legal compliance can be one of the keys to the success of a food and beverage business in Indonesia. Through a comprehensive analysis, it is hoped that this article can be a reference for other business actors in understanding the importance of the legal aspect, especially in the context of a food and beverage business that has special regulations.

Abstract

The high activity of food trading for breaking the fast of takjil during the month of Ramadan in Jati Utomo Village, North Binjai raises the phenomenon of significant market competition, between permanent traders and seasonal traders. This competition creates risks for traders, especially in maintaining customers and income. This research formulates two main problems, namely what are the risks faced by takjil traders due to market competition, and how competition affects the economic improvement of traders. This study aims to analyze the form of market risk and its impact on the economic conditions of takjil traders during the month of Ramadan. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of five traders. The results of this study show that 60% of traders experienced an increase in income because they were able to innovate and adjust products to market tastes despite being faced with high market competition. Meanwhile, the other 40% experienced income stagnation due to lack of product innovation and lack of understanding of accurate financial records. This study concludes that the success of micro businesses in facing competition is not only influenced by marketing strategies, but also by the ability to innovate and financial literacy.

Abstract

A tourist attraction that can be developed to support the community’s economy is natural resources. One of the natural resources is a river. The river as a source of water is very important in meeting the needs of society and enhancing national development. This is also intended as an implementation of the provisions of Law Number 11 of 1974 concerning irrigation, namely that in the context of utilizing and preserving rivers, it is deemed necessary to make arrangements regarding rivers which include protection, development, use, and control of rivers with government regulations. Deli River is one of the rivers in the city of Medan, which, if you look at history during the Deli kingdom, was the vein of trade. However, it is very unfortunate that at this time the existence of the Deli River was starting to be polluted by the large amount of river pollution carried out by the community. The efforts to preserve the river are carried out by Avros Park Medan, through its tourism vehicles trying to provide education to the public working with foundations concerned with the river environment. The purpose of this research is to conduct an assessment of the tourist education model that can be developed by Avros Park in an effort to preserve the environment of the Deli River and in an effort to attract tourists to visit Avros Park. The type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The design of the educational tourism model in this research consists of a tutorial and exploratory educational method.
