Abstract

Pilot’s leadership is one of the most important factors that profoundly influences flight safety. In addition, the career development requires leadership quality. Strong leadership begins first on the inside, yet it requires environmental support. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between selfleadership, work environment, motivation and career development of Indonesian Pilots. Data was collected through structured survey using questionnaire with Category Scale. Probability sampling technique was used to collect data from 250 Captain Pilots in 10 different airlines in Indonesia. The tool of analysis which is used is partial least square 3.2.9 with structural equation model analysis (SEM). Partial measurement is analyzed by examine significant value. Simultaneous measurement is analyzed using Ftest calculation. And mediation is analyzed using t-test, Sobel-test and VAF-test. The study identified that: (1) self-leadership has a positive correlation to work environment (2) self-leadership has positive and significant effect on the career development (3) work environment has positive and significant effect on the career development (4) self-leadership and work environment have positive and significant effect on the career development simultaneously (5) self-leadership has positive and significant effect on the motivation (6) work environment has positive and significant effect on the motivation (7) self-leadership and work environment have positive and significant effect on the motivation simultaneously (8) motivation has positive and significant effect on the career development. This research, inclusively, have shown the structural equation model SEM PLS is adequate and the overall data processing is proven.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the new role of human resources, responsible for building organizational capability utilizing external opportunities. The new role of human resources as a strategic partner, administrative expert, employee champion, and change agents in each organization is different, including the heterogeneity or homogeneity of implementation and relations between various roles in question. Methods and approaches in this study using the study of literature. Literature in this study took on a variety of empirical research journals and books that discuss the new role of human resource management. Human resource professionals, often referred to as a business partner, which is narrowly defined as human resource professionals who work with general managers to implement the strategy as a strategic partner. This time understanding the business partners has changed a lot, not only as a strategic partner, but also as an administrative expert, employee champion and change agent. Results of the study also found that there are four levels of conformity (alignment) between the functions of human resources with strategic planning (business) namely administrative linkage, linkage one-way, two-way linkage, and integrative Linkage.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini masyarakat sekitaran Benowo dihadapkan dengan kehadiran pembangunan TPA yang berdekatan dengan lingkungan mereka. Berbagai dampak negatif dirasakan oleh masyarakat pada mulanya. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengambilan informan random sampling yang berlokasi di barat Surabaya yaitu Benowo. Persepsi masyarakat sekiyar TPA Benowo nantinya akan dikaji menggunakan teori konstruksi masyarakat. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini yaitu dengan adanya pembangunan TPA yang semakin lama mendatangkan dampak positif bagi masyarakat. Masyarakat merasa diuntungkan dengan kehadiran TPA tersebut karena adanya fasilitas yang mendukung di wilayah sekitaran Benowo tersebut. Dengan adanya pembangunan berkelanjutan oleh Pemerintah Kota Surabaya berdasar pada tiga aspek yaitu lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

The study in this article aims to obtain basic concepts in the development of teaching staff and educational staff. This article also aims to find development models, development management, and principles for developing teaching and educational staff. Apart from that, this article also has the aim of finding an appropriate development process, identifying challenges to professionalism, and the role and function of LPTK in developing teaching staff and educational staff. This article was written using the literacy method, namely by reviewing various literature related to the specified theme. In this way, this method can be justified theoretically to obtain cognitive and theoretical dialectical results according to the predetermined theme. This article produces several basic concepts in the development of teaching staff and educational staff. This article also finds development models, development management, and development principles that are expected to improve the quality of teaching and educational staff. Apart from that, this article considers also an effective process in developing and identifying challenges to professionalism, the role and function of LPTK in developing teaching staff, and the education staff themselves.

Abstract

The study aims to produce a model of research that relates to the variable of emotional quality, resistance to change, etnic culture, change management, dan performnce. This article also aims to produce a model of a study to evaluate the influence of emotional quality, resistance to change, and etnic culture, on performnce either directly or through change management, both partially and simultaneously. This article is a review of the literature, so that method being used is a literature review. This study is conducted by grinding theories that have been established. The study also sourced and based on the results of previous research, especially empirical research results that related to the variables that were being studied. In addition, if it is continued in empirical research, the study population will include Abdi Sipil Negara (ASN) of Region Government. This study produces a proposed model for further study that explains the relationship between emotional quality, resistance to change, etnic culture, change management and performnce of Abdi Sipil Negara (ASN) of Region Government in Jakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Masyarakat Kota Bekasi pada Tahun 2018 mall Bekasi Cyber Park dengan objek penelitian Smartphone Brand Merek Samsung. Penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh antara variabel kualitas produk, citra merek dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian maka digunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, uji-F dan uji t digunakan untuk mengetahui signifikan tidaknya hubungan antara variabel, citra merek, Promosi dan Kepuasaan Pelanggan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Citra Merek berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian handphone merek Samsung di Mall Bekasi Cyber Park Kota bekasi. Kedua, Promosi berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian handphhone merek Samsung handphone merek Samsung di Mall Bekasi Cyber Park Kota bekasi, Kepuasaan Pelanggan berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian handphone merek Samsung handphone merek Samsung di Mall Bekasi Cyber Park Kota bekasi.

Abstract

Based on the results of the analysis it is known that of the two structural models studied, in the first model, Work Motivation as an endogenous variable, Compensation is the dominant factor affecting Work Motivation when compared to the Work Environment. In structural model 2 which places Performance as an endogenous variable, it is known that Work Motivation is the dominant factor, then compensation and finally work environment. Based on these findings, the priority of increasing compensation and work environment can be done through increasing work motivation, in addition to the work environment and work motivation of the teacher. The indirect effect of compensation on performance through motivation has an effect of 28.6% and followed by the indirect effect of the work environment on teacher performance through work motivation by 16%.

Abstract

Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Manggala Kiat Ananda Kota Bekasi pada tahun 2018 sebanyak 163 orang. Metode analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa deskriptif. Teknik pengujian data yang digunakan adalah dengan uji analisa jalur menggunakan SEMPLS, dimana analisa tersebut meliputi : uji goodness of fit – outer model, goodness of fit -inner model dan pengujian mediasi.Hasil analisa yang dilakukan penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa kepemimpinan dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kemuadian kepemimpinan dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja memediasi sebagian (parsial) antara kepemimpinan dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, Gaya Kepemimpinan belum berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi. Pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja sebesar 0,14 sedangkan pengaruh tidak langsung Gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi sebagai variabel intervening sebesar 0,07. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan besar pengaruh langsung lebih besar dari pengaruh tidak langsung, artinya motivasi belum mampu menjadi intervening untuk meningkatkan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi. Pengaruh langsung lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 0,76 sedangkan pengaruh tidak langsung lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui motivasi sebagai variabel intervening sebesar 0,09. Adanya motivasi dapat meningkatkan pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.
