Abstract

Education is a primary need to be a necessity in creating prosperity and welfare of community life. There are traffic jams caused by the movement of generation in schools, one of which is the land use that causes generation at SMKN-1 Palangka Raya school on Tambun Bungai street in Palangka Raya City, the purpose of this study is to determine the model of movement generation at SMKN-1 Palangka Raya. Which later is expected to be used to estimate the number of people leaving the school in the future and as an anticipation of problems arising from the generation of travel. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method by distributing questionnaires to respondents who do the generation at SMKN-1 Palangka Raya, with a total of 100 questionnaires distributed and school data. the results obtained. Using validity and reabelity instrument testing, correlation test with data analysis in the form of simple and multiple linear regression, t test, F test and coefficient of determination. The results of the analysis show that the most representative model for forecasting the generation of school movements of SMKN-1 Palangka Raya is Y 735.287 - 1.799 X2 + 7.658 X4 R2 of 0.783, where Y is the movement, X2 is the number of students, and X4 is the total number of teachers & employees. Factors that have a strong influence on the generation of movements at SMKN-1 Palangka Raya are the number of students (X2) and the total number of teachers & employees (X4).

Abstract

Price is the amount of value that consumers exchange for the benefit of owning or using a product whose value is set by buyers and sellers through bargaining, or set by sellers for a price equal to all buyers. The price of online motorcycle taxis and base motorcycle taxis in the city of Palangka Raya is different, therefore the purpose of this study is to find out the comparison in terms of prices offered by providers according to users. The research method used was a quantitative descriptive method. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to users of online motorcycle taxis and base motorcycle taxis. the results of the study related to the price comparisons for online motorcycle taxis and base motorcycle taxis according to users based on data obtained from the results of 100 questionnaire respondents. The questionnaire consisted of 14 statements covering online motorcycle taxi and base motorcycle taxi price indicators, which are affordability, price competitiveness, price compatibility with benefits, price compatibility with quality, selling price, price discounts, ease of access, and security. From the calculation results, respondents prefer to use online motorcycle taxis, as seen from the mean value of online motorcycle taxis (27.86) ≥ base motorcycle taxis (18.06) and the value of the online motorcycle taxi mode obtained results of 5 (strongly agree) which means according to online motorcycle taxi respondents from the price indicator offered by the provider can be accepted by online motorcycle taxi respondents while the base ojek obtained 3 (doubtful) results which means according to base ojek respondents from the price indicator offered by the provider is less can be accepted by base ojek respondents.

Abstract

The availability of clean water is a basic need that must be met to ensure people's quality of life. The use of renewable energy, particularly through solar power plants (PLTS), offers an efficient and environmentally friendly solution. PLTS have the advantage of being an abundant energy source, being emission-free, and suitable for household applications in tropical regions like Indonesia, which experience high solar radiation intensity throughout the year (IEA, 2023; Mulyadi & Hartono, 2019). This research addresses the need for a solar-powered booster pump system integrated with a storage tank as a backup water source. The research was conducted in the Building Engineering Education Laboratory, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Palangka Raya University, designing a household water distribution system using a solar-powered booster pump integrated with a storage tank. Specific plans and targets include publication of this research in a SINTA-accredited journal, HKI, and a research video.

Abstract

Geographically, Petuk Liti Village is located within Pulang Pisau Regency and within the Kahayan Tengah District. This village also serves as a transportation hub between regencies, including Gunung Mas Regency, South Barito Regency, North Barito Regency, and Kapuas Regency. In agriculture, plantations, and fisheries, the residents of Petuk Liti Village primarily cultivate rubber, oil palm, and rattan trees. Manual spraying is still often carried out using conventional tools such as knapsack sprayers, which are manually operated or powered by fossil fuel engines. Besides being tiring, using these tools is inefficient in terms of time and energy, and contributes to carbon emissions that worsen environmental conditions (Putri & Santoso, 2020). With the increasing need for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technology, an innovative solution is needed, namely the implementation of solar panel-based electric sprayers. Through an educational and applied approach, this community service is expected to improve farmers' skills and awareness of the importance of transitioning to green energy in daily agricultural production activities. The targeted outputs of this community service are the manufacture of electric sprayers and the publication of articles in SINTA-accredited journals and HKI.
