Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop language learning media based on organic waste as an introduction to ecoliteracy for elementary school. This study uses a development research method that refers to the Borg and Gall development model. Data collection methods in this study were questionnaires and observations. Data analysis in this research is descriptive quantitative with categorization technique. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the final product of learning media development based on organic waste at SDN 3 Kabar after going through a series of development procedures, was feasible to be implemented. Based on the results of product trials that have been carried out, there are significant changes between the pretest and posttest on students' understanding of Ecoliteracy. The indicator “merasa dini bagian dari alam” when the pretest percentage of students who are able to understand is 29.6% and when the posttest is 63.0%. The percentage of indicator “mampu mendeskripsikan pengertian dan jenis sampah” from 14.8% become 63.0%. The last indicator is ”mampu mendeskripsikan dampak negative sampah” from a percentage of 0% increasing to 29.6%. This shows that the introduction of ecoliteracy through developing language learning media based on organic waste to students at SDN 3 Kabar was successful.Keyword: Language Learning Media Development, Organic Waste, Ecoliteracy

Abstract

Room door lock security can be managed using conventional techniques or automated systems. Currently, most hotels in Indonesia, particularly in the Lombok area, utilize card keys for room access. This method is effective and convenient, as guests do not need to carry physical keys. However, there are instances when guests forget to take their card when leaving the room, which complicates re-entering their accommodations. One potential solution is to implement the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method for recognition. The CNN process involves four key stages: area detection, feature extraction, matching, and recognition. Tests conducted on this system indicate that the CNN method can accurately recognize provided input images. Out of 10 images tested, 90% were recognized successfully. The results suggest that the CNN method is a promising option for enhancing room lock security

Abstract

Vocational schools are high schools based on hard skills, including SMK NW Korleko. As the number of students increases, it becomes difficult for schools to manage data on students who register, and making reports takes a long time. When accepting new students, the school still uses a manual system: prospective students fill out a paper form. Based on the problems faced, this research aims to help schools manage student data while admitting new students using the website. The method used in this research is the waterfall method, which has sequential stages, namely needs analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Meanwhile, the programming language for building the system uses PHP, and the DBMS uses MySQL, which is compatible with developing website-based applications. The results of this research are in the form of a web-based information system for new student admissions, which can help make it easier for students to register and for schools to carry out new student admission activities online.
