Abstract

Batik is Indonesia's noble culture and has been attached as an identity as well as national identity. This is important to do so that the Indonesian people do not lose their national identity in the midst of the swift onslaught of foreign cultures in the current era of globalization. The movement to preserve the local wisdom of batik culture must start as early as possible. Batik simbut innovation is one way to introduce batik culture to the younger generation, especially at an early age and elementary school. Batik simbut is child-friendly because it uses a kind of cold paste as a substitute for the function of hot wax. This study discusses learning innovation of Batik simbut that is applied to the Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila program at SDN Kwagean. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The findings from this study are (1) the application of Batik simbut is considered safer, so it can minimize the risk of accidents due to hot nights for students. (2) The application of learning innovations of child-friendly batik in the P5 project is very appropriate and strategic as an effort to build students' curiosity and inquiry abilities through cultural exploration and local wisdom. This is expected to be an effort to strengthen the nation’s character as early as possible.

Abstract

Technological advances have had a positive impact on various sectors, including cooperatives which are transforming towards digital services. Cooperatives, as business entities owned and operated by their members for the common good, have big challenges after the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in improving the economy through microfinance institutions. Many low-income people in developing countries, such as Indonesia, do not have access to credit or bank accounts, making it difficult to determine their creditworthiness. Microfinance Institution (LKMS) Kasuwari focuses on empowering productive women through financing and entrepreneurship training. This initiative not only helps small businesses, but also strengthens the local, family-based economy. Utilizing cooperative digitalization through marketplace applications, core banking systems and mobile banking systems can provide real solutions facing the LKMS Kasuwari cooperative.

Abstract

        Penerapan manipulating fabrics pada kain batik dapat memunculkan keunikan dan eksklusifitas untuk menambah value-nya. Aplikasi manipulating fabrics pada kain batik dapat mendukung pengembangan atau penciptaan custome made batik berbasis kreatifitas untuk menciptakan inovasi fashion batik. Hal tersebut dapat mendorong penciptaan desain produk baru untuk menyegarkan pasar. Penerapan manipulating fabrics pada kain batik memberi nilai kebaruan karena menambahkan nilai guna pada produk. Penambahan nilai guna pada produk batik dapat menambah keunggulan produk yaitu selain indah juga mempunyai tampilan tertentu secara fisik. Pengembangan batik penting untuk dilakukan demi menjaga kelestariannya. Batik sebagai warisan budaya, masih perlu terus dikembangkan untuk ditransformasikan kepada generasi muda. Generasi muda masih ada yang menganggap batik adalah pakaian yang kuno. Batik dapat dimodifikasi dengan trend fashion modern saat ini sehingga generasi muda lebih antusias lagi dalam melestarikannya. Salah satu cara yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan penerapan manipulating fabric.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan desain produk baru dengan ide memberikan tambahan nilai guna pada produk batik motif pesisiran dengan mengaplikasikan teknik manipulating fabrics. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan berbasis praktek proses berkarya seni kriya (practice-led research). Hasil penelitian ini adalah berupa kain selendang batik dengan aplikasi manipulating fabric berupa sulam, slashing, dan smock.

Abstract

Abstrak   Batik adalah salah satu budaya yang diakui dunia sejak tanggal 2 Oktober 2009, UNESCO menetapkan bahwa batik Indonesia sebagai mahakarya warisan budaya Indonesia. Di Giriloyo, Imogiri, Yogyakarta terdapat beberapa industri batik, salah satunya Madana Batik Gallery. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mendeskripsikan letak nilai artistik motif batik tradisional karya Madana Batik Gallery. (2) Mendeskripsikan macam-macam motif batik trandisional karya Madana Batik Gallery beserta makna filosofinya. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah motif batik karya Madana Batik Gallery, Imogiri, Yogyakarta. Sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah nilai artistik dan makna filosofi yang terdapat pada motif batik tradisional karya Madana Gallery. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan (1) Motif batik tradisional karya Madana Batik Gallery tergolong batik klasik yang memiliki makna filosofi yang mendalam bagi kehidupan. (2) Nilai artistik dalam motif batik tradisional karya Madana Batik Gallery terletak pada penyusunan motifnya dan juga terletak pada warna nya. (3) Orang zaman dahulu menciptakan sebuah motif bukan hanya untuk dilihat keindahannya saja, akan tetapi mereka juga mencari dan menyusun makna yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan kehidupan. (4) Pemahaman terhadap nilai artistik dan makna filosofi motif batik tradisional sangat penting bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia. Abstract                     Batik is a culture that is recognized worldwide. Since 2 October 2009, UNESCO designated Indonesian batik as a masterpiece of Indonesian cultural heritage. In Giriloyo, Imogiri, Yogyakarta, there are several batik industries, one of which is Madana Batik Gallery. The objectives of this research are: (1) To describe the artistic value of traditional batik motifs created by Madana Batik Gallery. (2) Describe the various traditional batik motifs created by Madana Batik Gallery along with their philosophical meaning. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The subject of this research is batik motifs by Madana Batik Gallery, Imogiri, Yogyakarta. Data collection went through the stages of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The data analysis technique in this research uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. From the results of this research it can be concluded  (1) The traditional batik motifs created by Madana Batik Gallery are classified as classic batik which have a deep philosophical meaning for life (2) The artistic value in the traditional batik motifs created by Madana Batik Gallery lies in the arrangement of the motifs which contain the principles of fine art and it also lies in the color (3) Ancient people created motifs not only to see their beauty, but they also sought and compiled meaning that was related to life. (4) Understanding the artistic value and philosophical meaning of traditional batik motifs for is very important the Indonesian people.
