Abstract

Abstract

Environmental pollution, especially caused by the open burning of waste electronic components, is very dangerous to the environment and living things. In addition, electronic waste has various forms, so there is a need for environmental legal regulations that regulate electronic waste specifically. The research method in this study uses a normative juridical research type, with a statute approach and a concept approach. The primary legal material used is Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management. From the results of the research carried out, it can be concluded that; First, that the legal basis for environmental pollution due to the open burning of electronic component waste refers to Government Regulation Number 101 of 2014 concerning the Management of Hazardous and Toxic Materials Article 5 Paragraph (2) because this type of waste should not be disposed of carelessly because the content in it can damage the environment. That for the management of electronic component waste, it must be carried out by a licensed and certified institution from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Second, that legal sanctions against the perpetrators of the disclosure of electronic component waste include administrative sanctions that do not exempt the person in charge of the business and activity from the responsibility for recovery, civil sanctions are aimed at every person in charge of the business or activity that violates the law in the form of environmental pollution, criminal sanctions resulting from exceeding ambient air quality standards, water quality standards, seawater quality standards or deliberate environmental damage, because the effects of open burning due to electronic component waste are very harmful to the environment.

Abstract

Strengthening social harmony in the midst of a pluralistic village community is a challenge in the digital era. This article aims to describe a synergistic digital campaign model based on religious moderation and local wisdom applied in Betara Kanan Village, West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This activity is part of the collaborative Real Work Lecture (Kukerta) program across study programs involving students of Islamic Religious Education, Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Islamic Family Law, Constitutional Law, Sharia Economics, and Sharia Business Management. The implementation method uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR)  approach through the stages of observation, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the activity show a significant increase in literacy, religious moderation and digital ethics of the community, strengthening digital legal awareness, and empowering the sharia economy through the legality of MSMEs, halal certificates, and digital marketing. This model has novelty in cross-disciplinary collaboration and the use of digital media as a value-based social education instrument. Practically, this campaign model can be replicated as a strategy to strengthen village social harmony based on digital and local wisdom.

Abstract

Maternal anemia continues to represent a critical public health issue due to its association with an increased risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) and adherence to iron (Fe) supplementation in relation to anemia among pregnant women attending the Ciputat Timur District Health Center in 2026. A cross-sectional approach was applied, involving 59 participants selected through total sampling. Data collection was conducted using structured interviews, records from the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) handbook, and verification of antenatal care (ANC) cards. The variables assessed included CED status measured by Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC), adherence to iron supplementation, and hemoglobin concentration. Statistical analysis using the Chi-square test revealed no significant association between CED and anemia (p = 1.00), while adherence to iron supplementation demonstrated a significant relationship (p = 0.029). The findings highlight that improving compliance with iron intake, supported by nutritional counseling and consistent monitoring, plays a more substantial role in reducing anemia risk than focusing solely on macronutrient status. Therefore, preventive strategies should emphasize sustained adherence to iron supplementation alongside comprehensive maternal health surveillance..
