Abstract

Pendidikan daring (dalam jaringan) merupakan suatu keniscayaan pada masa sekarang. Metode pendidikan daring (dalam jaringan) merupakan perubahan yang terjadi karena interaksi teknologi dengan manusia. LMS (Learning Management System) satu bentuk transformasi platform dalam pendidikan daring. LMS menjadi sarana yang efektif agar terjadinya transfer pengetahuan. LMS dan KM (Knowledge Management) memiliki persinggungan yaitu efektifitas mendapatkan  pengetahuan dan membagikannya kepada setiap orang baik pendidik maupun peserta didik. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitis melihat seberapa efektif LMS di UPH Kampus Medan dalam memanajemen pengetahuan. LMS di UPH Kampus Medan menggunakan aplikasi Moodle dan Teams, Artikel ini melihat seberapa efektif Aplikasi ini bisa memanajemen Pengetahuan. Abstract

Kegiatan Service Learning merupakan aktifitas pelayanan kepada komunitas untuk memberikan solusi atas persoalan komunitas yang ada. Aktifitas service learning selama ini dilakukan secara langsung atau luring (luar jaringan). Pada masa pandemik metode penerapan service learning sangat sulit dilakukan oleh karena pelaksanaan protokol Kesehatan. Kegiatan service learning yang dilakukan oleh UPH Kampus Medan yaitu dengan metode hybrid. Aktifitas Service learning yang dilakukan memberikan dampak lebih luas bagi pelayanan Pendidikan anak baik di Panti asuhan maupun komunitas. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan metode naratif kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan suatu kajian deskriptif  pelaksanaan service learning terhadap siswa baik di panti asuhan dan komunitas pada masa pandemik. Selain itu artikel ini memberikan evaluasi perihal efektifitas service learning dalam masa pasca pandemik.

Abstract

This research is a literature study that aims to dig up information related to creativity and innovation in teaching philosophy. Philosophy is a scientific discipline that requires critical and creative thinking, but teaching philosophy often feels monotonous and boring for some students. Therefore, this research wants to find various creative and innovative strategies that can be applied in teaching philosophy to make it more attractive and motivating for students. The method used in this research is literature study by collecting and analyzing various journal articles, books, and information sources related to creativity and innovation in teaching philosophy. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more creative and innovative philosophy teaching strategies and to motivate students to learn philosophy better.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the principal leadership styles of Christian religious secondary schools in Indonesia. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. The informants in the study were teachers, vice principal, and school principal in a Christian religious secondary school. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews. Subsequently, the data was analyzed using deductive thematic analysis, and its validity was checked using triangulation. The study results showed that the principal implemented five leadership styles in a Christian religious secondary school: paternalistic, charismatic, servant, transformational, and autocratic. This study indicates that leadership styles are urgently needed to improve Christian religious education quality; however, they are still limited in the literature. Therefore, the Ministry of Religion Affairs, particularly the Directorate General for Christian Community Guidance, should create a concise policy on leadership competency for Christian religious school principals. Furthermore, each principal in Christian religious schools should carry out various leadership styles properly to enhance management and leadership practices in their educational organizations.

Abstract

In an increasingly advanced digital era, the need for technical skills in the world of education has become a major highlight. Specialization-based education is the focus in higher education. In this situation, Liberal Arts education also has a very important role in developing cross-disciplinary skills and human skills holistically. This article aims to investigate the relevance of Liberal Arts education in the digital era and try to identify how Liberal Arts education can make a contribution to higher education in facing the challenges of the digital age. This research uses a qualitative approach by conducting a literature review of various relevant sources regarding Liberal Arts education and developments in the digital era. The articles analyzed included five scientific articles originating from research journals. This qualitative approach allows the author to present a comprehensive picture of the relevance of Liberal Arts education in the digital era. The results found by the author through these articles state that Liberal Arts education has an important role in preparing students to face the complexities of the digital era. The critical skills, systemic thinking, effective communication and professional ethics taught in Liberal Arts education provide a strong foundation for students.

Abstract

Leadership plays a very important role in an organization or company. The processes that take place within an organization or company depend on the attitude and leadership style applied. Leadership attitudes and styles in an organization also play an important role in increasing employee satisfaction. Employees who are satisfied with the leadership attitudes implemented by their leaders have the potential to feel appreciated and prosperous. Employee personal well-being is achieved through leadership as a medium. Examining the relationship between leadership and worker well-being as well as the influence of additional factors that bolster it is the aim of this essay. This article examines studies that show a relationship between leadership and worker well-being as well as the mediators and moderators that support that relationship. Using a literature study, the approach looks at leadership philosophies and attitudes in terms of enhancing worker wellbeing. The literature research indicates that there is a noteworthy correlation between employee well-being and leadership. Through intermediate factors, such as welfare forms and leadership styles and processes, leadership may have an impact on employee welfare. Additional findings support the notion that a moderating factor like leadership style might enhance the association between well-being of employees and leadership.

Abstract

This research explores the emerging awareness of social entrepreneurship within religious organizations, focusing particularly on the role of church communities in fostering social entrepreneurial initiatives. Drawing on a comprehensive literature review, the study examines the interplay of individual, organizational, and societal factors influencing social entrepreneurship awareness within church organizations. Key findings reveal the significance of personal attributes such as self-efficacy and emotional intelligence, educational support mechanisms including mentorship and networking, and broader societal and economic contexts in shaping individuals' inclination towards social entrepreneurship within church settings. Additionally, the study highlights strategies for enhancing social entrepreneurship awareness at church organizations, ranging from education and training programs to community engagement projects and collaboration with external stakeholders. Implications for practice and policy underscore the importance of creating a supportive environment for social entrepreneurship within churches and advocate for further research to evaluate intervention effectiveness and address ethical considerations. Overall, this research contributes to a better understanding of social entrepreneurship awareness within religious organizations and offers practical insights for fostering a culture of social innovation and community development within church communities.
