Abstract

Seluruh dunia dilanda wabah covid-19 yang begitu leluasa mempengaruhi aktivitas manusia khususnya aktivitas di bidang pendidikan, untuk itulah penggunaan media elektronik dan internet sebagai penyokong pembelajaran online sangatlah diperlukan. Hal ini menjadi penting bagi calon pendidik untuk mampu memanfaatkan e-Learning khususnya courses Edmodo yang terintegrasi dengan pertemuan tatap muka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mendeskripsikan penerapan e-learning berbasis Edmodo untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa PVTM UST Semester Ganjil Tahun 2020/2021) untuk menguji keefektifan  e-Learning berbasis Edmodo terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pengantar pendidikan di Program Studi pendidikan Tenaga pendidik Sekolah Dasar FKIP UST. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan dosen observer yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan (observasi) dan refleksi. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PVTM semester 1 gasal tahun akademik 20/2020. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan tes.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dengan presentase berupa perhitungan hasil observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini mentargetkan luaran berupa HaKI tentang perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Edmodo dan artikel pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi dengan judul penerapan media e-learning berbasis Edmodo di era covid-19 untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa PVTM, artikel Journal intenasional dengan judul “The effectiveness of courses Edmodo in improving achievement student ” serta rumusan kebijakan untuk mendukung peraturan akademik UST tentang ketentuan penggunaan e-learning di UST. Abstract: The whole world is hit by the Covid-19 epidemic which is so freely influencing human activities, especially activities in the education sector, for this reason the use of electronic media and the internet as a support for online learning is needed. This is important for prospective educators to be able to take advantage of e-Learning, especially Edmodo courses which are integrated with face-to-face meetings. The objectives of this study were 1) to describe the application of Edmodo-based e-learning to increase the activities and learning outcomes of UST PVTM students in the Odd Semester 2020/2021) to test the effectiveness of Edmodo-based e-learning on student learning activities and outcomes in introductory education courses in the Program. Education Study of UST FKIP Elementary School Educators. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) conducted collaboratively with observer lecturers which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementing the action, observing (observation) and reflecting. The subjects of this study were PVTM students in the odd semester of the 20/2020 academic year. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis with a percentage in the form of calculating the results of observations and tests. The results of this classroom action research target output in the form of Intellectual Property Rights on Edmodo-based learning tools and articles in accredited national journals with the title application of Edmodo-based e-learning media in the Covid-19 era to increase motivation and learning outcomes of PVTM students, an international journal article entitled "The effectiveness of courses Edmodo in improving student achievement as well as formulation of policies to support UST academic regulations regarding the provisions for the use of e-learning at UST.Keywords: Edmodo e-learning; learning outcomes; college student.

Abstract

Tujuan – Penelitian ini membahas strategi sosialisasi kunci sukses menjadi entrepreneur muda dengan fokus pada peningkatan produk, branding, dan pemasaran bagi Karang Taruna di Desa Kayoman, Serut, Gedangsari, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu anggota Karang Taruna memahami konsep dasar bisnis, mengembangkan produk yang berkualitas, memperkuat identitas merek, dan meningkatkan efektivitas strategi pemasaran mereka. Metode – Metode pengabdian ini melibatkan analisis pasar, pelatihan, dan pendekatan konsultasi dengan pengusaha sukses dan pakar branding. Hasil – Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui sosialisasi yang efektif, pemahaman mendalam tentang pasar sasaran, pengembangan produk inovatif, serta strategi branding dan pemasaran yang tepat, anggota Karang Taruna dapat meningkatkan daya saing mereka dalam bisnis. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan muda di tingkat lokal, yang pada gilirannya dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pembangunan komunitas di daerah tersebut.

Abstract

Riset berikut memiliki tujuan yaitu antara lain: (1) menerapkan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan lebih memahami model belajar tersebut untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar analisis sistem starter peserta didik kelas X TBSM di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Malang; (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Discovery Learning dengan Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar analisis sistem starter peserta didik kelas X TBSM di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Malang. Metodologi riset berikut adala eksperimental dengan desain riset post-test only control group design. Kelas X TBSM 1 merupakan kelas kontrol yang menjadi kelas pembanding dengan kelas X TBSM 3 yang dijadikan kelas ekperimen dalam melakukan penelitian ini. Model pembelejaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) digunakan di kelas X TBSM 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan untuk kelas pembanding yakni X TBSM 1 digunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning (DL). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan data adalah dari tes multiple choice dan lembar kertas observasi penerapan model pembelajaran. Menggunakan analisis uji-t independen dan analisis deskriptif untuk mengkarakterisasi hasil belajar dan penerapan model pembelajaran, untuk mengertahui pengaruh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan model belajar Problem Based Learning telah terlaksana dengan baik sesuai dengan sintaks tiap model pembelajaran (2) terdapat perbedaa hasil belajar antara pengunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Discovery Learning.

Abstract

Work development in the 21st century requires new multiple intelligence qualifications for vocational education (VE) to face it. This research reveals a new multiple intelligence qualification along with its application procedures and assessment aspects for VE. Industry practitioners and higher vocational education were involved in exploring data related to the topic in this research. Data collection on practitioners was carried out in two stages, starting with interviews and continuing with Focus Group Discussions. The transcribed data was then explained and interpreted using NVivo 12 plus. Four multiple intelligences are essential to industry practitioners and higher vocational education, namely interpersonal, intrapersonal, logistical, and naturalistic intelligence. Building these four multiple intelligences requires infrastructure support that is dominated by digital infrastructure, emphasis on the role of responsibility for the subjects involved in learning, increasing the readiness of teachers and students before learning, and determining learning strategies to encourage independence in students to explore in depth about what should be done achieved. These new intelligences are assessed based on three main aspects: self-assessment methods, peer assessment and meaningful project assessment. These findings are essential recommendations for education and learning administrators in VE to implement the four new multiple intelligences optimally and according to current work needs

Abstract

The study of dynamic electrical physics among first-semester students is often unpopular because it is considered abstract and difficult to relate to real-world applications. To foster a positive attitude and interest in the subject matter, contextual and technology-based learning strategies are needed. This study aims to apply a simulation of a BLDC electric motor using the open-source software GNU Octave in the context of electric vehicles, as well as to describe students' affective responses after participating in the learning activity. The study employs a quantitative descriptive approach with participants being students from the Physics Education and Vocational Mechanical Engineering Education programs. The simulation was developed based on the mathematical model of the BLDC electric motor and visualized using numerical methods in GNU Octave. After participating in the simulation-based learning activity, students were asked to complete a questionnaire measuring affective aspects such as interest, motivation, and attitude toward physics learning based on applications. The questionnaire results indicated that the majority of students responded positively to the use of simulations. The research results indicate that over 90% of students demonstrated interest, motivation, and positive attitudes toward simulation-based physics learning on electric motors. Students also evaluated GNU Octave as an attractive, free, and relevant tool for learning needs in the digital age. Thus, the application of GNU Octave as a simulation medium not only supports conceptual understanding indirectly but is also effective in fostering students' affective aspects toward physics and electric vehicle technology learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mempermudah pembelajaran karena siswa akan lebih mudah memahami video animasi dibandingkan dengan gambar (2) Siswa dapat  mengakses materi setiap saat (3) Memudahkan guru dalam penyampaian materi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian. Pengembangan media pembelajaran mengacu pada model pengembang Sugiyono. Model penelitian tersebut mempunyai sepuluh tahapan dalam penelitian, yaitu: 1) Mencari Potensi dan Masalah, 2) Pengumpulan data, 3) Mendesain produk, 4) Validasi desain, 5) Perbaikan desain, 6) Uji coba, 7) Revisi produk, 8) Uji coba lapangan, 9) Revisi produk, 10) Penyebaran Produk. Media pembelajaran PDTO berbasis animasi divalidasi oleh dua ahli materi dan satu ahli media selanjutnya diuji cobakan pada 5 siswa untuk uji coba skala kecil dan 26 siswa skala besar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to produce an electric bicycle learning module suitable for learning in the Motorcycle Technology Practice course at the PVTM study program of Sarjana Wiyata Tamansiswa University. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) with reference to the four-D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The research site was carried out at Sarjana Wiyata Tamansiswa University and the research time was carried out from November 27 to December 4, 2023. The research subjects consisted of 2 expert validators of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Education, and respondents of 17 students in the Motorcycle Technology Practice (PTSM) course of Universitas Sarjana Wiyata Tamansiswa. This research data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) The development of the 350 watt universal sunrace electric bike learning module had several steps, namely: (a) observation and interviews, (b) designing with module needs analysis, drafting, testing, validation, revision, (c) developing with module validation by media experts and material experts followed by revision, field trials on students, (d) disseminating bicycle modules electricity to PVTM students of Universitas Sarjana Wiyata Tamansiswa; (2) The feasibility assessment of material experts shows an average score of 90.25% and is included in the Very Decent category; Media expert raters showed an average score of 95.00% and were included in the Very Decent category; and (3) Student responses to the electric bicycle learning module showed an average score of 86.25% and entered the Very Decent category. Thus, the electric bike learning module developed can be categorized as Suitable for classroom or independent learning use. This is because the module can be used as a reference for teaching materials for PVTM students of Sarjana Wiyata Tamansiswa University as a reference in explaining electric bicycle learning materials at Sarjana Wiyata Tamansiswa University.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan literasi informasi fisika mahasiswa dengan melalui pemecahan masalah pada topik energi kinetik otomotif. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket (kuesioner). Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhatian terhadap literasi informasi masih kategori rendah. Selain itu, evaluasi pembelajaran belum terfokus pada literasi informasi. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa sudah cukup baik. Namun demikian, secara keseluruhan diperlukan tindak lanjut dalam hal penilaian, evaluasi, dan kebijakan terkait literasi informasi. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan peneliti berikutnya adalah melalui pengembangan instrumen literasi informasi dalam pengajaran fisika.

Abstract

 Indonesia is an archipelagic country and is a developing country and not all of its territory has easy roads to traverse, and some parts of its territory are still swamps. Hovercraft are one solution to reach areas that are difficult to pass by this type of vehicle. In this research, before carrying out the hovercraft fabrication process, design testing was carried out in this research. Design testing was carried out using the Finite Element Method (FEM). This test aims to determine whether the hovercraft design that will be fabricated will have sufficient strength in terms of construction. On the construction side, it is hoped that the hovercraft will have a long life cycle (fatigue testing) and good material strength. Design testing was carried out with a load of 250 kg (passenger); 500 kg (machine) and type I or H aluminum construction for better force and stress propagation. The results of this research include that the hovercraft construction design is suitable for use with a 250 kg passenger load and engine load. This is shown in the discussion which includes details from von Mises stress which is lower than the yield strength of aluminum, total deformation, to damage and life cycle fatigue.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menghasilkan media/produk sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino sebagai pendukung media belajar. (2) Mengetahui kelayakan produk yang dihasilkan berupa  media belajar sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino pada mata kuliah teknik sepeda motor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Developmen (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang memiliki 4 tahapan yaitu tahap Define, tahap Design, tahap Develop and tahap Disseminate. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket skala likert dengan empat versi respons jawaban.  Sedangkan teknik analisis yang dipergunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian pengembangan ini telah berhasil dikembangkan dalam bentuk berupa produk  sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino sebagai media pendukung belajar praktek, materi sistem kelistrikan sepeda motor pada mata kuliah TSM (Teknik Sepeda Motor), program studi Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Mesin konsentrasi otomotif,  Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Hasil kelayakan produk dari ahli mendapat rerata 79,4% termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”, sedangkan hasil  Uji coba terhadap 14 mahasiwa diperoleh skor 89,8% dari aspek kualitas produk  masuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”, dari aspek penggunaan produk mendapat skor 79,9% masuk kategori “sangat layak”, dan dari aspek penggunaan produk mendapat skor 88,2% masuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran.   Development of Android and Arduino-based motorcycle security systems as a support of learning media   Abstract: This study aims to (1) Produce media/products for motorcycle security systems based on Android and Adruino as a support for learning media. (2) Knowing the feasibility of the resulting product in the form of learning media for motorcycle security systems based on Android and Adruino in motorcycle engineering courses. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D development model, which has four stages, namely the Define stage, the Design stage, the Develop stage, and the Disseminate stage. The data collection instrument used in this study used a Likert scale questionnaire with four versions of response answers. In contrast, the analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. This development research has been successfully developed as a motorcycle security system product based on Android and Adruino as a supporting medium for practical learning, motorcycle electrical system material in the TSM (Motorcycle Engineering) course, Vocational Education Mechanical Engineering study program in automotive concentration, Bachelors University. Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The product feasibility results from experts got an average of 79.4% included in the "very feasible" category, while the results of trials on 14 students obtained a score of 89.8% from the aspect of product quality included in the "very feasible" category, from the aspect of product use it received a score 79.9% is in the "very decent" category, and from the aspect of product use a score of 88.2% is in the "very decent" category. The analysis results show that the motorcycle security system based on Android and Adruino is very suitable to be used as a learning support medium.
