Abstract

The facilitation and management of changes can support the success of community empowerment. In the process, appropriate facilitation and management of changes in teaching materials are needed. This study aims to construct the teaching materials for facilitation strategies and management of changes by Indonesian society's socio-cultural characteristics. The research and development method was carried out using the Borg and Gall model to achieve this goal. The result shows that the teaching material needed in the facilitation strategy and management of changes includes three aspects: knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Overall, facilitators know empowerment facilitation but still feel they lack facilitation skills in practices. The personal communication skills most needed are probing and paraphrasing. The collaboration skills most wanted to improve in the community group are building group dynamics and teamwork, building belief and confidence, encouraging full participation, supporting conflict resolution, encouraging inclusive solutions, giving and receiving feedback, encouraging mutual understanding, and monitoring the role and group level. The most preferred attitudes for a community empowerment facilitator are unconditional trust in group abilities, building empathy, building interest in others, and an unconditional positive outlook. According to the audience, suitable teaching materials use easy-to-understand language, illustrated pictures or videos that work well, and include real examples in the field. Teaching materials must be designed to be attractive and user-friendly. In this case, it can be done in further research.

Abstract

Garbage is a big problem nowadays, youth organizations and innovation. A waste bank is a good combination if it has collaborated. This study aims to build public environmental awareness using a walking waste bank. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the Participation Action Research (PAR) method. This research means that a result of research that has been carried out in a participatory manner is then applied into action. The results showed that, in field research in participating in youth organization socialization to the community, the mechanism for youth socialization by visiting the community could change people's attitudes to become more disciplined and willing to participate in the waste bank program to create a clean and healthy environment. Thus, the youth empowerment program to improve skills and knowledge in conducting educational outreach to the community is suitable for youth members.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Every early childhood has a variety of abilities that need to be supported and developed optimally. One of the abilities that need to be developed is emotion. Good social emotional development in early childhood correlates with cognitive development and also creates a strong basis for data on children in school. However, the problem is that PAUD educators do not understand how to apply social and emotional learning to children. Especially during the pandemic which made all children's learning activities carried out online. The implementation of emotional social learning in schools is becoming increasingly difficult for PAUD educators. The purpose of this community service program is to help educators overcome the problems of educators in teaching children's social emotions by utilizing online media. The method of implementing this program is teacher training which is conducted online through the zoom application. At the end of the activity we provided a pool for the participants to see the benefits of this activity. Given the pandemic conditions, the activity was carried out boldly. Of the 1134 participants who attended stated that this seminar was very useful, 70% and 30% were reported. Participants also said that this activity helps teachers develop insights into online social emotional learning. Based on the results of the evaluation, it can be ignored that this activity was successful and useful. ABSTRAK Setiap anak usia dini memiliki berbagai macam kemampuan yang perlu didukung dan dikembangkan dengan optimal. Salah satu kemampuan yang perlu dikembangkan adalah sosial emosi. Perkembangan sosial emosi yang baik pada anak usia dini berkorelasi dengan perkembangan kognitif dan juga menciptakan dasar yang kuat dalam keberhasilan pencapaian anak di sekolah. Akan tetapi permasalahannya pendidik PAUD kurang memahami bagaimana menerapkan pembelajaran sosial dan emosi pada anak. Terlebih pada masa pandemi yang membuat seluruh kegiatan belajar anak dilakukan secara online. Sehingga penerapan pembelajaran sosial emosi di sekolah menjadi semakin sulit bagi pendidik PAUD. Tujuan program pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk membantu pendidik mengatasi permasalahan pendidik mengajarkan sosial emosi anak dengan memanfaatkan media online. Metode pelaksanaan program ini adalah pelatihan guru yang dilakukan secara online melalui aplikasi zoom. Pada akhir kegiatan kami memberikan pooling pada peserta untuk melihat kebermanfaatan kegiatan tersebut.Mengingat kondisi pandemi maka kegiatan dilakukan secara daring. Dari 1134 peserta yang hadir menyatakan bahwa seminar ini sangat bermanfaat 70% dan 30 % menyatakan bermanfaat. Peserta juga menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini membantu guru dalam mengembangkan wawasan pembelajaran sosial emosi secara online. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil dengan baik dan bermanfaat

Abstract

Abstract During the pandemic, early childhood is facing changes in the learning system. Where face-to-face learning directly turns into online learning. The problem that arises is that teachers are not ready to organize online learning because they do not have the capacity to design online learning and provide media that are suitable for children's needs. The solution is in the form of online learning implementation exercises and the development of knowledge about digital stories as a learning tool for early childhood. The method or approach used to solve partner problems is online training and seminars. In this method, several techniques are used, including lecture techniques, question and answer, observation/observations, demonstrations, online discussions. Based on the evaluation that has been carried out, this community service activity has been going well, the success of this activity can be seen by the increasing knowledge of PAUD educators about the implementation of online learning and the use of digital stories as a learning tool for the community. early childhood. After the activity the participants were also quite enthusiastic and felt the benefits of the community service activities they had participated in. They also suggest getting involved in further service activities. Of the 314 participants who took part in the zoom meet, 29% said this activity was very interesting and 71% said this activity was interesting. 90% of participants stated that this activity was very useful and provided new experiences and knowledge. 75% of participants want this activity to be continued in the form of workshops that are carried out regularly and continuously with practical materials for making digital stories, and learning the use of learning resources with blended learning in PAUD institutions Abstrak Pada masa pandemik anak usia dini sedang menghadapi perubahan dalam system belajar. Dimana pembelajaran tatap muka secara langsung berganti menjadi pembelajaran online. Permasalahan yang muncul guru belum siap menyelenggarakan pembelajaran online karena belum punya kapasistas dalam merancang pembelajaran online dan menyediakan media yang sesuai kebutuhan anak. Solusi yang dilakukan berupa latihan tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran online dan pengembangan pengetahuan tentang cerita digital sebagai sarana pembelajaran anak usia dini. Metode atau pendekatan yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra yaitu pelatihan dan seminar online. Dalam metode ini, digunakan beberapa teknik, diantaranya teknik ceramah, tanya jawab, observasi/pengamatan, demonstrasi, diskusi yang dilakukan secara online. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berhasil dengan baik, keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan pendidik PAUD tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran online dan pemanfaatan cerita digital sebagai sarana belajar bagi anak usia dini. Setelah kegiatan para peserta juga cukup antusias dan merasakan manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang telah di ikuti. Mereka juga mengusulkan pelibatanya pada kegiatan pengabdian selanjutnya. Abstract

Abstract The problem that arises at the Community Service Center is facing changes in the learning system. Where face-to-face learning changes directly to online learning, then changes to limited face-to-face. Problems that arise are not only from the side of the child but also from the educator himself. From the point of view of children, they are not enthusiastic about online learning because the material presented is boring and full of academics. On the side of school readiness, and the teacher's ability to carry out hybrid learning (mixed because they do not yet have the capacity to design flexible hybrid learning, the ability to use ICT tools and provide media according to children's needs. Solutions that can be made are in the form of outreach and training on learning implementation strategies online and the development of knowledge about digital stories as a means of early childhood learning.The methods or approaches offered to solve partner problems are online training and seminars.In this training method, several techniques are used, including lecture techniques, question and answer, observation/observation, demonstration , discussions are conducted online. First, an initial analysis or needs analysis is carried out. This initial analysis or needs analysis involves interviews and discussions with PAUD educators, supervisors and PAUD mothers about the learning problems faced and developing at the moment. Then proceed to the preparatory process stage, namely making a questionnaire about the right way to apply learning in PAUD and the hyflex learning approach. The next stage is implementation, at this stage the implementation of socialization is carried out online through the zoom and face-to-face applications which have been carried out since April 2022. Next is mentoring, the last process is carried out to see an increase in PAUD educators in implementing hyflex learning at PAUD institutions. In addition, the success of this activity can be seen from the increased knowledge of PAUD educators about the implementation of hyflek learning in the application of the independent learning curriculum. Based on the evaluation that has been carried out from this community service activity it worked well, the success of this activity can be seen by the increased knowledge of PAUD educators about preparing hyflex learning for early childhood. After the activity, almost all participants were quite enthusiastic and felt the benefits of the community service activities they had participated in. They also proposed their involvement in further community service activities. Abstrak Permasalahan yang muncul di tempat Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah menghadapi perubahan dalam system belajar. Dimana pembelajaran tatap muka secara langsung berganti menjadi pembelajaran online, kemudian berganti menjadi tatap muka terbatas. Permasalahan yang muncul tidak hanya dari sisi anak tetapi juga dari pendidik itu sendiri. Dari sisi anak tidak semangat dengan pembelajaran online karena materi yang disajikan membosankan dan full akademis. Di sisi kesiapan sekolah, dan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan pembelajaran hybrid (campuran karena belum punya kapasistas dalam merancang pembelajaran hybrid yang fleksibel, kemampuan dalam menggunakan perangkat TIK dan menyediakan media yang sesuai kebutuhan anak. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan berupa sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang strategi pelaksanaan pembelajaran online dan pengembangan pengetahuan tentang cerita digital sebagai sarana pembelajaran anak usia dini. Metode atau pendekatan yang ditawarkan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra yaitu pelatihan dan seminar online. Dalam metode pelatihan ini, digunakan beberapa teknik, diantaranya teknik ceramah, tanya jawab, observasi/pengamatan, demonstrasi, diskusi yang dilakukan secara online. Pertama dilakukan analisis awal atau analisis kebutuhan. Analisis awal atau analisis kebutuhan ini dengan wawancara dan diskusi dengan pendidik PAUD, penilik dan bunda PAUD tentang permasalahan pembelajaran yang dihadapi dan berkembang saat ini. Kemudian dilanjutkan ke tahap proses persiapan, yaitu membuat kuesioner tentang cara yang tepat untuk menerapkan pembelajaran di PAUD dan pendekatan pembelajaran hyflex. Tahap selanjutnya adalah pelaksanaan, pada tahap ini dilakukan pelaksanaan sosialisasi dilakukan secara online melalui aplikasi zoom dan tatapmuka yang dilakukan sejak bulan April 2022. Selanjutnya adalah pendampingan, proses yang terakhir ini dilakukan untuk melihat peningkatan pendidik PAUD dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran hyflex di Lembaga PAUD. Selain itu, keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan pendidik PAUD tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran hyflek pada penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berhasil dengan baik, keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan pendidik PAUD tentang menyiapkan pembelajaran hyflex bagi anak usia dini. Setelah kegiatan hampir seluruh peserta cukup antusias dan merasakan manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang telah di ikuti. Mereka juga mengusulkan pelibatanya pada kegiatan pengabdian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Abstract The current government policy in ECCE institutions has used an independent learning curriculum. The problems that arise educators do not have sufficient capacity in developing learning tools in the independent curriculum. The solution to this problem is in the form of a workshop on the development of ECCE learning tools in the independent curriculum. The method or approach offered to solve partner problems is training and hybrid workshop. The implementation begins with conducting an initial needs analysis through interviews and discussions. Then proceed to the preparation process stage, namely making a questionnaire about the right way to develop learning tools in the independent curriculum. The next stage is the implementation, implementation of socialization carried out in a hybrid manner (on-site workshops and online via the zoom application). Next is mentoring, which is carried out to see the improvement of ECCE educators in the development of learning tools in the independent curriculum. The success of this activity can be seen by the increasing knowledge of ECCE educators about the development of ECCE teaching tools in the independent curriculum. The results obtained were 100% of this activity was useful for increasing knowledge about the application of the independent curriculum, 100% of this activity was well facilitated by the committee, 100% of the material was easy to understand, 100% of the media presented was interesting, 100% of participants got new knowledge, 100% of the material could be implemented in ECCE institutions, 84.5% of the workshop activity time was fulfilled. Abstrak Kebijakan pemerintah saat ini dilembaga PAUD telah digunakan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Permasalahan yang muncul pendidik belum punya kapasitas yang cukup dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka. Solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut berupa workshop pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran PAUD pada kurikulum merdeka. Metode atau pendekatan yang ditawarkan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra yaitu pelatihan dan worshop secara hybrid. Pelaksanaan diawali dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan awal melalui wawancara dan diskusi. Kemudian dilanjutkan ke tahap proses persiapan, yaitu membuat kuesioner tentang cara yang tepat untuk pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran pada kurikuum merdeka. Tahap selanjutnya adalah pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan sosialisasi yang dilakukan secara hybrid (workshop langsung di tempat dan online melalui aplikasi zoom). Selanjutnya adalah pendampingan, yang dilakukan untuk melihat peningkatan pendidik PAUD dalam pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan pendidik PAUD tentang pengembangan perangkat pembejaran PAUD pada kurikulum merdeka. Hasil yang didapat adalah 100% kegiatan ini bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang penerapan kurikulum merdeka, 100% kegiatan ini difasilitasi dengan baik oleh panitia, 100% materi mudah dipahami, 100% media yang disajikan menarik, 100% peserta mendapat pengetahuan baru, 100% materi dapat diimplementasikan di lembaga PAUD, 84,5% waktu kegiatan workshop tercukupi.
