Abstract

Perawatan luka merupakan tindakan pembedahan yang sering dilakukan di rumah sakit yang apabila tidak dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur maka akan menyebabkan terjadinya infeksi klinis. Masalah yang didapat di Masyarakat yaitu memiliki permasalahan kulit seperti gatal-gatal yang terjadi dari kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan dirinya, sehingga mengakibatkan luka pada kulit karena kurangnya pengetahuan dalam merawat luka serta kurang nya mendapatkan sumber informasi terkait perawatan luka. Metode yang digunakan dalam Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah dengan memberikan edukasi untuk menambah pengetahuan pada masyarakat yang ada di Dusun Saluraya. Masyarakat yang mengikuti penyuluhan mengenai Perawatan Luka yang terdiri dari 26 (75%) perempuan serta 8 (25%) merupakan laki-laki, Untuk usia responden yang paling banyak adalah usia 45-65 tahun sebanyak 16 (50%) dan yang paling sedikit adalah usia >65 tahun serta pada usia <45 tahun sebnayak 9 (28%). Edukasi mengenai Perawatan Luka ini menarik perhatian masyarakat Dusun Saluraya, dan memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan pada masyarakat mengenai Perawatan Luka. Hasil dari pemaparan edukasi mengenai Perawatan Luka ini dapat dilihat dari masyrakat yang mulai mengetahui mengenai Perawatan Luka.

Abstract

Elderly or often called the elderly is an age group that is prone to health problems. The more a person gets older the experienced will cause all systems and functions to decrease. One function that has decreased is physiological function. This decrease in physiological function gives rise to non-communicable and communicable diseases. Some of the non-communicable diseases experienced by the elderly are hypertension, arthritis, stroke, and diabetes mellitus. Hypertension ranks first in health problems for the elderly. Hypertension or high blood pressure is when a person experiences an increase in blood pressure which is characterized by a systolic number of more than 140 mmHg and a diastolic number of more than 90 mmHg. Several treatments for lowering blood pressure can be carried out with pharmacological and non-pharmacological actions. This study aims to determine the benefits of soaking feet in warm water which can be used as a non-pharmacological treatment to reduce blood pressure. The literature review uses secondary data taken from Google Scholar. The results of this literature review present articles regarding the benefits of soaking feet in warm water to reduce blood pressure in elderly hypertensives.

Abstract

Picky eater or better known as having difficulty eating, is a problem in food harvesting in an effort to meet nutritional intake in children. Based on research in several countries, it can be seen that the prevalence of picky eaters or difficulty eating in children is quite high. Research in the USA reports that 50% of 3,022 toddlers have difficulty eating and around 20% -60% of parents say that their toddlers eat not optimally. In London, 17% of children have a low appetite, while another 12% are picky eaters. The prevalence of picky eaters in Singapore with frequent classification was 49.6% of 407 respondents, the Jakarta area was 46.9%, 59.5% of children aged 6-60 months in Depok, and 82% of children aged 3-6 years in Bekasi Regency is experiencing picky eater. Purpose: to be able to find out the factors that cause picky eater behavior. Literature review uses secondary data taken from Google Scholar. The results of this literature review present articles regarding the factors that cause picky eaters. There are factors that cause picky eaters. One of them is mother's knowledge about nutrition with picky eater behavior.

Abstract

Introduction: The behavior of parents to fulfill nutrition is very influential on the growth and development of children. Factors that influence parents to have sufficient behavior in fulfilling nutritious food are knowledge, education, employment, income and support. Picky eater is a child who has difficulty consuming food or drink. The child will be said to be a picky eater if the child has characteristics such as refusing food that has just been introduced, closing his mouth, and vomiting food. Children will not become picky eaters if parents do not always comply with their children's requests for random snacks that will endanger their health. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was a relationship between parental behavior in fulfilling nutrition with the incidence of picky eaters in Cemara Kasih Early Childhood Education. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all preschool children aged 3-6 years as many as 92 people and their parents as many as 92 people. This research uses Probability Sampling with Simple Random Sampling technique. The analysis of this study used the Spearman rho test. Results: This study showed a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.557, where r count > r table (0.000) and pvalue = 0.000 (p <0.05).
