Abstract

The Independent Curriculum can be interpreted through the implementation of independent learning-based learning in elementary schools as a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila (P5) students. This curriculum adjustment is a form of the government's seriousness in dealing with problems that occur in the world of education. One of the problems currently occurring is the fading of cultural values based on local wisdom in students' identities. Students tend to be interested in gadgets and foreign culture that is gained from using these gadgets. In this way, the author wants to discuss the implementation of strengthening the cultural values listed in lesson P5 with the P5 theme discussed being local wisdom in phase C of elementary school. This research was carried out in class 5b at SDN 1 Kondangsari. The aim of this research is to determine the application of P5 learning and its impacts. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected using interview and documentation techniques. The samples taken were 30 grade 5 elementary school students. The result of this research is that the implementation of p5 with the theme of local wisdom at SDN 1 Kondangsari has been running quite uniquely and creatively. This can be seen from the outdoor- based learning process which is fun and blends with nature.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) melalui penerapan metode demonstrasi pada siswa kelas V SD Katholik Yaswari Benlutu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Katholik Yaswari Benlutu yang berjumlah 25 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi guru, siswa dan tes berupa 13 soal diantaranya 8 soal pilihan ganda, 5 soal isian dan 5 soal uraian yang sudah divalidasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode demonstrasi mempunyai peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada materi perubahan wujud benda. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil I nilai rata-rata yang di peroleh 60,64 dengan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 84% sedangkan pada siklus II nilai posttest di mana nilai rata-rata 78,8 dan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 92% dan semuanya mencapai KKM dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Dengan begitu maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode demostrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) materi perubahan wujud benda pada siswa kelas V SD Katholik Yaswari Benlutu.

Pembelajran IPA merupakan salah satu mata pekajaran yang memberikan berbagai pengetahuan tentang alam sekitar dan isinya, diantaranya semua benda di alam, peristiwa dan gejala yag muncul disana. Penggunaan metode project based learning dalam lingkungan penelitian membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mereka. Pendekatan ini melibatkan siswa dalam pendidikan siswa dengan membiarkan mereka menyelidiki masalah dan menemukan jawaban mereka sendiri. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh project based learning (PBL) pada kapasitas siswa untuk berpikir kritis siswa menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design dan menggunakan pengumpulan non probability sampling dengan metode quasi Experimental Design. Dengan nilai 0,20 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,05, hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa data mengikuti distribusi normal. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model PBL secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, karena nilai t hitung sebesar 6,866 jauh lebih tinggi daripada nilai t tabel sebesar 0,308. Metode project based learning (PBL) membuat pengajaran interaktif di mana siswa berpartisipasi secara aktif dengan menyelesaikan proyek dalam kelompok. Siswa tidak hanya tumbuh secara intelektual, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan praktis melalui kegiatan pembelajaran ini. project based learning (PBL) mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis tentang lingkungan mereka dengan menempatkan mereka dalam situasi di mana mereka harus menganalisis, mensintesis, dan mengevaluasi data. Dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,62, project based learning efektif dalam membantu siswa meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mereka. Hal ini berarti bahwa model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan akademis dan keterampilan siswa seperti kerja sama tim dan pemecahan masalah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, project based learning merupakan metode yang berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The low level of Mastery of Minimum Competencies among students is caused by students still experiencing difficulties in developing their critical thinking skills. In classroom learning, students still have difficulty understanding literacy and numeracy.  The aim of this research is to determine the increase in the ability to master minimum competencies in elementary school students using the Problem-Based Learning model. The method used in this research is quantitative research, with an experimental research design. The experimental method has several designs, one of which is the quasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental). The sample in this research was students at Cibadak Elementary School, Bogor.  The sampling technique used is non-random sampling, where the research sample is taken not at random. The research results show that there is an increase in students' mastery of minimum competencies by using the Problem-Based Learning model. This is shown by the calculated t value obtained being greater than the t table with the calculated T value of 2.46, while the T table value is 1.65; this result shows that there is an increase in the use of the PBL model in improving students' Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) abilities. Meanwhile, the results of calculating the N-Gain value obtained a value of 0.73% in the high category. This is because the use of the Problem-Based Learning model can facilitate students to be actively involved in learning, so that students' understanding of literacy and numeracy questions can increase.
