Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masa balita merupakan masa yang memerlukan asupan gizi optimal untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan serta mencegah terjadinya masalah gizi. Keragaman konsumsi adalah salah satu indikator yang digunakan untuk menilai kualitas konsumsi dan kebutuhan zat gizi. Kualitas konsumsi secara langsung dapat memengaruhi status gizi balita.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megidentifikasi keragaman konsumsi balita dan menganalisis faktor yang berhubungan dengan keragaman konsumsi balita usia 24-59 bulan di Kecamatan Gunung Halu Kabupaten Bandung Barat.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional studi dengan 97 balita usia 24-59 bulan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November hingga Desember 2019. Balita dipilih secara acak menggunakan teknik random sampling. Keragaman konsumsi didapatkan dari konsumsi makanan sehari sebelumnya dan dianalisis berdasarkan standar FAO yang terdiri dari 9 kelompok pangan tanpa jumlah konsumsi minimal. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan keragaman konsumsi dianalisis menggunakan model regresi logistik. Jika total skor keragaman konsumsi ≤4 diklasifikasikan sebagai tidak beragam dan >4 beragam.Hasil: Sebanyak 76.3% balita pada penelitian ini mengonsumsi makan yang tidak beragam dan didominasi oleh makanan tinggi energi. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keragaman konsumsi balita dengan kejadian stunting. Status pekerjaan ibu (OR:4,63;95%CI:1,1-18,9), jenis kelamin (OR:5,1;95%CI:1,7-15,7), dan pengetahuan gizi ibu (OR:3,4,95%CI1,1-10,3) berhubungan signifikan dengan keragaman konsumsi balita.Kesimpulan: Ibu yang bekerja, balita laki-laki, dan pengetahuan gizi ibu yang kurang secara signifikan menjadi faktor yang berhubungan dengan keragaman konsumsi balita yang rendah.

Abstract

Background: Anemia is a medical condition characterized by a lower than normal number of red blood cells or hemoglobin levels. In adolescent girls, anemia is caused not only by monthly menstruation but also by improper dietary patterns, particularly inadequate consumption of iron-rich foods. Micronutrient deficiencies such as anemia remain a prevalent issue in Indonesia. Recent national data indicate that the prevalence of anemia among adolescent girls in Indonesia is still around 32%, classifying it as a serious nutritional problem. Objective: This educational intervention aims to improve nutritional knowledge about anemia among adolescent girls at SMPN 1 Sugihwaras, Bojonegoro. Methods: This community service activity employed a lecture method to provide nutrition education about anemia to adolescent girls. The program was attended by 47 female students from grades 7 and 8. Prior to the education session, participants completed a pre-test questionnaire to assess baseline knowledge. Following the lecture, a question-and-answer discussion session was held. Finally, participants completed a post-test questionnaire before the session concluded. Results: The pre-test results showed that 19 students (40.4%) had a "good" category of nutritional knowledge, while the post-test results showed an increase to 43 students (91.4%) in the "good" category. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank test indicated a significant difference with a p-value < 0.05, demonstrating a significant improvement in nutritional knowledge among adolescent girls before and after the nutrition education. Conclusion: Nutrition education on anemia had a positive and significant effect. There was a significant increase in the average nutritional knowledge scores of adolescent girls following the educational intervention. Keywords: adolescent girls, anemia, nutrition education

Abstract

Background: Birth length is one of the risk factors for stunting in toddlers in the future. Stunting is a condition where a child's height is not by their age, which is indicated by a z score <-2 SD. Stunting can occur since the baby is in the womb, or in the first 1000 days of life which is indicated by a birth length of <48 cm.Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between iron supplementation and birth length at Aisyiyah Hospital, Bojonegoro.Materials and Methods: The study respondents were 81 mothers and babies who were in the postpartum room of Aisyiyah Hospital, Bojonegoroduring the period from March to April 2024. Data on the number of iron tablets received and consumed were obtained from interviews with respondents, and the baby's birth length was obtained from data on the patient's medical records.Results: The study’s results showed that the prevalence of short birth length (stunting) at Aisyiyah Hospital, Bojonegoro was 38.8%. Based on the results of the correlation test conducted with Spearman rho, it was found that there was a significant relationship between the number of iron tablets received and the number of iron tablets consumed with the length of the baby's birth, as indicated by the p-value and r value respectively (p = 0.013; r = 0.439) (p = 0.005; r = 0.496).Conclusion: This study shows a significant relationship between the number of iron tablets received and the number of iron tablets consumed with the length of the baby's birth.

Abstract

Malaria remains a public health concern in several regions of Indonesia, including Purworejo Regency, which reported an Annual Parasite Incidence (API) of 0.063 per 1,000 population in 2023. A total of 49 cases were reported, consisting of 36 indigenous and 13 imported cases (Balai Kesehatan Masyarakat Magelang, 2024). Community education and capacity building of health cadres are key strategies in malaria control and elimination. This community service activity aimed to provide education and training on malaria surveillance programs to health workers and the community, while also involving students in strengthening community-based prevention programs. The activities were carried out in two stages: (1) training and identification of malaria vectors on April 22, 2024, in Loano Subdistrict, and (2) mosquito larvae survey on May 14, 2024, in Banyuurip Asri Housing Complex. The program was successfully implemented, showing an increase in participants' knowledge and the discovery of mosquito larvae in several locations. This activity supportthe continuation of the Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) program by the Purworejo District Health Office.

Abstract

Hospitals have several installations with different working systems, one of which is the nutrition installation. The success of a nutritional installation can be seen from patient satisfaction with the quality of the food service. Food management includes the accuracy of food presentation, the accuracy of food taste, and food waste. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of food service and patient satisfaction at the nutrition installation at the Muhammadiyah Kalitidu Hospital. The research design used was descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. Sample selection used incidental sampling technique and obtained a total of 91 samples of inpatients. Data on the quality of food service and patient satisfaction levels were obtained using the interview method using a questionnaire consisting of 11 questions for each variable. The bivariate test results show that there is a significant relationship between the quality of service and patient satisfaction at the Kalitidu Muhammadiyah Hospital nutrition installation as indicated by the p-value: 0.000 (<0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.506. This shows that the better the quality of food service, the more satisfied patients are with the nutritional installation at Kalitidu Muhammadiyah Hospital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penghambat penerapan rekam medis elektronik di rawat jalan Puskesmas Balen Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan rekam medis elektronik di Puskesmas Balen terkendala oleh kurangnya petugas berpendidikan rekam medis dan masalah jaringan SINTESA EMAS yang sering error. Beberapa petugas merasa sistem ini justru menambah beban kerja, bukan mengurangi waktu tunggu pasien. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disimpulkan bwha penerapan rekam medis elektronik di Puskesmas Balen terkendala oleh kurangnya petugas berpendidikan rekam medis dan gangguan jaringan pada aplikasi SINTESA EMAS. Meskipun sistem sesuai kebutuhan, beberapa petugas merasa beban kerja meningkat dan tidak efektif mengurangi waktu tunggu pasien.
