This study aims to explore the opportunities and challenges of Islamic economics in the context of agrarian empowerment in Kerinci Regency and to provide strategic recommendations to address these obstacles. This article falls under field research with a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study method. The research concludes that, despite its challenges, consistent application of Islamic economic principles can enhance productivity and welfare for farmers and positively impact the mechanisms of agrarian empowerment in accordance with Islamic economic principles.

Abstract

The rights of women and children after divorce are often neglected. The article examines the reality of children's and women's rights in Pekalongan City, Central Java, Indonesia, focusing on the causes of non-fulfillment and the legal consequences. Data from 10 court decisions from the Pekalongan City Religious Court revealed a gap between post-court decision reality and the fulfillment of these rights. The research found that the non-fulfillment of children's and women's rights after divorce in Pekalongan is due to a lack of public knowledge about post-divorce execution procedures and related rights. The difficulty of spouses in ensuring the fulfillment of these rights is also reflected in the lack of application of Islamic legal knowledge on the obligation to provide maintenance by husbands. The legal consequences are devastating, emphasizing the need for improvements in the legal system, increased public knowledge, and the application of Islamic legal principles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of religious beliefs and religiosity on the work ethic of Muslim traders in Sungai Penuh City. The method used is a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 104 Muslim traders. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression techniques to determine the extent to which religious beliefs and religiosity contribute to work ethic. The results show that religious beliefs have a significant positive effect on the work ethic of traders, where religious values motivate them to work harder and more honestly. Additionally, religiosity also significantly contributes to the enhancement of work ethic, with traders who possess high levels of religiosity tending to demonstrate better discipline and responsibility in running their businesses. These findings are expected to provide insights for traders and policymakers in developing strategies to improve work ethic within the community, as well as to strengthen the role of religious values in the business world. This study also aims to serve as a foundation for further research on the relationship between religion, religiosity, and economic behavior in a broader context.

Abstract

PG SLOT to the marriage age limit in Indonesia have led to an increase in the number of underage marriages in West Sumatra. The government's goal in changing the marriage age limit is to reduce the number of underage marriages. Precisely that, this study aims to determine the effect of Law No. 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage on underage marriage from 2019-2023 and the efforts of the local religious affairs office in socializing it. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were obtained through PG SLOT, interviews and documentation. First, the results showed that after the law was enacted, the number of underage marriages actually increased from five couples (2016-2019) to nine couples who married underage (2019-2023). This shows that despite the new regulation, the practice of early marriage still occurs. Second, the religious affairs office has made efforts to prevent underage marriage such as providing direct guidance to prospective brides who are getting married. Then utilize the services of religious instructors within the West Sumatra religious affairs office. Another way is to use social media such as Facebook and Instagram by posting things related to the impact of underage R4shub.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Hiang Village, Setinjau Laut District, face challenges of limited visibility and market access due to the minimal utilization of digital technology. This low technology adoption is caused by a lack of knowledge, skills, and awareness regarding the potential of digital marketing. This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of MSME owners in utilizing Google Maps as a tool to increase their business visibility. The method employed was a participatory counseling approach, which included three stages: planning, implementation (consisting of socialization, theoretical presentation, and hands-on practice), and evaluation (through a post-test, feedback, and monitoring). The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, with over 90% passing the post-test. Moreover, there was a high rate of technology adoption, with 84% of participants successfully registering their businesses on Google Maps after the training. It is concluded that this outreach activity was effective in empowering MSMEs, providing a practical solution to the visibility problem, and serving as a strategic first step in bridging the digital divide in rural areas.
