Abstract

Railroad crossing security on highways is an important issue for road user safety. The current security system still has limitations, such as a lack of timely response and negligence of crossing guards, resulting in a high number of accidents at railroad crossings, which often claim lives. The high rate of accidents that occur today causes safety to be one of the most important things. Therefore, it is necessary to apply sophisticated technology to minimize the risk of accidents. The utilization of computer technology in the railway crossing security system can be an optimal solution. The system will work by using sensors that are able to detect the arrival of trains and send information about the state of the crossing to the crossing guards in real time. Thus, the crossing guards can take appropriate and quick action if there is a malfunction in the system. By integrating advanced technology, it is hoped that accidents at railway crossings can be minimized and the safety of road users can be guaranteed.

Abstract

Technological advances are developing rapidly at this time, the need for efficiency, security and automation in the office environment has become a top priority. One innovation that answers this need is technology for office gates, the need for a more sophisticated and efficient access control system is increasingly urgent. The problem that occurs, namely intrusions outside working hours, means that unknown individuals can easily enter the office area without permission. Additionally, cases involving lost employee ID cards, which were used by others to access designated areas, underscore the need for identification systems that are more secure and difficult to abuse. The office gate security system utilizes Webcam Camera input, RFID Reader, Fingerprint Sensor, Ultrasonic and Esp8266, Web, Servo, LED, LCD and Buzzer output. The Webcam camera can take pictures and save them on the web and the RFID Reader detects E-KTP, the Fingerprint sensor detects fingerprints and then the LCD displays information that registration is successful. This tool is processed with an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller as a connection.

Abstract

The Nagari Taram Oyster Mushroom Forest Farmers Group, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra, faces serious challenges in the form of production instability and weak community-based agribusiness management. The main problems identified include uncontrolled mushroom house environmental management, high levels of contamination of growing media, and dependence on middlemen without diversification of processed products. This community service program offers innovative solutions through the implementation of Smart GrowTech, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system to control temperature, humidity, and CO₂ levels in real-time, as well as the integration of the JamurLink application as a digital platform for monitoring and harvest prediction. In addition, the Auto-Steril innovation is used to increase the effectiveness of planting media sterilization to reduce contamination to below 5%. In the agribusiness aspect, the program is designed to strengthen the farmer group's institutions through business management training, digital marketing, product diversification (chips, shredded meat, mushroom nuggets), and strengthening e-commerce-based marketing networks. Targets include a 40–60% increase in productivity, an increase in farmer income from IDR 2–3 million to IDR 5–7 million per month, the establishment of a farmer cooperative, and the replication of the technology to other farmer groups. With a precision technology approach and community empowerment, this program is expected to improve the sustainability of local agribusiness, support food security, and contribute to the achievement of SDGs 1, 2, 8, and 9.

Abstract

Technological developments have created many opportunities for many sectors. One of them is the opportunity for students to start becoming MSME actors. A business that utilizes technological media has a great opportunity to develop. Utilizing technology in a business can be done with digital-based marketing or what is usually called digital marketing. Digital marketing is an online promotional and marketing activity by utilizing social media, e-commerce and other digital platforms. This research focuses on digital marketing assistance and training for MSMEs at SMA Ins Kayu Tanam, Padang City This research aims to identify and analyze the implementation of digital marketing in promotional and marketing activities carried out by MSME students at SMA Ins Kayu Tanam. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using observation techniques and focused discussions in collecting data. Based on the research results, the implementation of digital marketing at Ins Kayu Tanam High School has gone well, but there are still obstacles faced, namely that there are still some MSME players who lack understanding of technology
