Abstract

Business environment and organizational changing is implied on boundary less organization rising, that is paradigm changing which states if organization is fewer on bondary between person, information and talent of human resources. On career in boundary less organization era, they must do new career management model. The new model is restructure from the traditional. The employee roles as career strategist not as career planner and enterprise roles on organizational management so it could improve work productivity of employee and next it will turn improve of efficiency of organization working.Key words : Boundary less organization, career management, career development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membuktikan adanya pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawa dewan pelaksana pengelola masjid agung jawa tengah. Peneletian ini menggunakan metode sensus data dari 119 responden. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji parsial (uji t) variabel gaya kepemimpinan demokratisdi peroleh nilai t hitung 6,125 > 1,657 (t tabel) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, artinya gaya kepemimpinan demokratis berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dewan pelaksana pengelola Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah. Variabel disiplin kerja di peroleh nilai t hitung – 1,419 < 1,657 (t tabel) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,159 > 0,05 artinya disiplin kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dewan pelaksana pengelola Masjid Agung Jawa TengahBerdasarkan hasil uji F (simultan) diketahui bahwa F hitung > F tabel (20,337 > 2,68), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara simultan atau bersama – sama gaya kepemimpinan demokratif dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif sigifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada dewan pelaksana pengelola Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah. Hasil pengujian koefisien determinasi (R2) terhadap variabel gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan disiplin kerja menunjukan pengaruh terhadap kinerja kariawan pada dewan pelaksana pengelola Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah sebesar 24,7%. Sedangkan sisanya (100% - 24,7% = 74,3%) dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Disiplin Kerja, Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis, Kinerja Karyawan Abstract This study aims to analyze and prove the influence of democratic leadership style and work discipline on the work performance of the executive board of managers of the Central Java Grand Mosque. This research uses census data method from 119 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of data analysis using a partial test (t test) democratic leadership style variables in the t value obtained 6.125> 1.657 (t table) with a significance level of 0.000 F table (20,337> 2.68), so that it can be concluded that simultaneously or together the democratic leadership style and work discipline have a significant positive effect on employee performance on the managing board of the Central Java Grand Mosque. The results of testing the coefficient of determination (R2) on the variables of democratic leadership style and work discipline showed an influence on the performance of caribou on the managing board of the Central Java Grand Mosque manager at 24,7%. Abstract

Medical services industry has become more competitive nowadays. This made hospitals need to improve their performance. Roemani Hospital in Semarang is not an exception. One effort that can be done is to improve the performance of the employees through employee’s Job satisfaction. This research evaluates the effect of Organizational Culture and Leadership Style on Employee’s Job Satisfaction that influence the Employee’s performance.To test the issue, data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 110  employees of Roemani Hospital in Semarang. The data acquired was analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). From the result of this analysis, the Structural Equation Model has fulfilled the Goodness of Fix Index criteria: chi square = 106.716, probability = 0.649, RMSEA = 0.000, GFI = 0.892,  AGFI = 0.854,  CFI  = 1.000.The analysis result shows that Organizational Culture positively and significantly affect the Job Satisfaction that positively and significantly affect the performance, Organizational Culture positively, significantly and directly affect the Performance, The Leadership Style positively and significantly affect the performance both directly and indirectly through Job Satisfaction.Based on the results, managerial implication suggest that improvement of  the job satisfaction and performance can be achieved by establishing and treasuring the involvement culture, and having a participative leadership style align with giving salaries that is considered satisfying .Key words : organizational culture, leadership style, job satisfaction, performance

Abstract

Intense competition requires companies to further improve corporate performance through a leadership role in motivating subordinates to be able to remove his ideas to create new products that the company expected the company can always have a sustainable competitive advantage to remain competitive with rival companies. The results of this study indicate that: 1) there is a positive influence to the performance characteristics of the leadership of the company, 2) new product innovation has positive and significant impact on company performance, 3) new product innovation has positive and significant impact on sustainable competitive advantage, 4) performance of the company has positive of sustainable competitive advantage.Keywords: characteristics of leadership, new product innovation, company performance, sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of quality of work life and employee engagement on employee performance. This research was taken from the whole respondent, namely 59 people and the data were processed using SPSS 23. The data used are primary and secondary data usingobservation, questionnaires and interviews, The analytical methode used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that (1) quality of work life had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with t count 7,107 > 2,003 and a significant level of 0,00 < 0,05, (2) employee engagement had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with t count 2,412 > 2,003 with a significant level of 0.19 < 0.05, (3) quality of work life and employee engagement indicate that simultaneously and jointly have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with f count 73,926 > 3.16 with a significant level 0.00< 0.05. The R-square value for quality of work life and employee engagement (X1 and X2) is 0.715, which means that quality of work life and employee engagement can explain the variation of variables related to employee performance by 71.5% while the remaining 28.5% is influenced or explained by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: Quality of Work Life, Employee Engagement and Employee PerformanceAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh quality of work life dan employee engagement terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini diambil dari keseluruhan responden, yaitu berjumlah 59 orang dan data diolah menggunakan SPSS 23. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder dengan menggunakan metode observasi, kuesioner dan wawancara. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) quality of work life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan t hitung 7,107 > 2,003 dan tingkat signifikan 0,00 < 0,05, (2) employee engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan t hitung 2,412 > 2,003 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,19 < 0,05, (3) quality of work life dan employee engagement menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan dan bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan f hitung 73,926 > 3,16 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,00 < 0,05. Sedangkan nilai R-square untuk quality of work life dan employee engagement (X1 dan X2) diperoleh sebesar 0,715 yang artinya quality of work life dan employee engagement dapat menjelaskan variasi dari variabel tekait kinerja pegawai sebesar 71,5% sedangkan sisanya 28,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.Kata kunci: Quality of Work Life, Employee Engagement dan Kinerja Pegawai

Abstract

Background: Menarche is the first menstrual period in woman reproduction cycle. Recent studies show that the age at menarche is declining. Decline in age at menarche is correlated with obesity. This study aimed to identify the correlation between indicators of obesity with the age at menarche in elementary school students. Method: This was an analytical observational study with cross sectional approach. The subjects of this study were 58 female students of 5th-6th grade at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta and SD Kristen Manahan (elementary school) that taken by purposive sampling. Indicators of obesity (BMI, waist circumference, waist hip ratio) were measured by anthropometric. Age at menarche was assessed by using questionnaire. The correlation between indicators of obesity with age at menarche had been analyzed by Spearman correlation test. Result: Spearman correlation test showed that there was no significant correlation between indicators of obesity (BMI, waist circumference, waist hip ratio) with age at menarche with result p=0.650; p=0.894; p=0.829. Spearman correlation test showed that there was no significant correlation between economic and mothers age at menarche with respondents age at menarche (p=0.056 and p=0.087). Conclusion: There is no significant correlation between indicators of obesity with age at menarche in elementary school students. Abstract

Introduction: Measurement of hemoglobin concentration can be done by hematology analyzer (HA) cyanmethemoglobin method (gold standard) and point-of-care testing (POCT) electrode-based biosensor method. POCT electrode-based biosensor method is one of the hemoglobin POCT and has not been studied before in Indonesia. This study examined the difference and correlation hemoglobin concentration by HA cyanmethemoglobin method and POCT electrode-based biosensor method. Methods: This was a cross sectional study in 4 senior high schools of Sukoharjo in Indonesia on Desember, 2016. Senior high schools were selected using a simple random sampling and senior high schools grade selected using a stratified random sampling. Among 173 grade 10 and 11 senior high school girls in this study the capillary and venous blood samples were collected. Capillary blood sample collected was immediately processed to measure the hemoglobin concentration using POCT electrode-based biosensor method and venous blood sample was collected to measure the hemoglobin concentration using HA cyanmethemoglobin method. Statistical analyses used were Mann-Whitney and Spearmans correlation coefficient (?=0.05). Results: Hemoglobin concentration determined by the POCT electrode-based biosensor method compared to HA cyanmethemoglobin method was significantly different (p=0.000 ) and there was positive moderate correlation (r=0.438; p=0.000). Conclusions: Hemoglobin concentration assessment by POCT electrode-based biosensor method has shown significantly different and positive correlation with HA cyanmethemoglobin method. Abstract

Pemerintah Jawa Tengah membutuhkan modal karena adanya kelangkaan, salah satunya melalui penanaman modal asing sektor perindustrian. Namun penanaman modal asing di Jawa Tengah mengalami fluktuasi dari tahun ke tahun yaitu naik-turunnya nilai-nilai Penanaman modal asing selama tiga kwartal terakhir. Fluktuasi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor yaitu tingkat suku bunga dalam negeri, tingkat suku bunga luar negeri, dan pengeluaran pemerintah. Tingkat suku bunga dalam negeri memegang peranan penting dalam menciptakan modal asing karena investor hanya akan menanamkan modalnya apabila memberi keuntungan baginya terutama bagi investor asing yang tidak menanamkan modal sendiri sepenuhnya namun meminjam dari bank.Tingkat suku bunga luar negeri juga memberi peranan penting, apabila tingkat suku bunga luar negeri yaitu Libor (london inter bank offer rate) meningkat akan memberi dampak positif terhadap penanaman modal asing. Penelitian ini menguji suku bunga dalam negeri pada tingkat pinjaman dengan uji statistik .Dengan adanya analisis tersebut maka dapat di harapkan dijadikan acuan oleh Pemerintah Jawa Tengah untuk menarik investor asing. Abstract

This research is motivated by the teacher's curiosity to the extent to which students' abilities in anticipating mathematical problems. The subject consisted of MR and MT given five questions related to the tangent circle then followed by an interview. The results obtained are that MR tends to use impulsive anticipation and MT tends to use exploratory anticipation.
