Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah siswa pada konsep materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di SMP Negeri 4 Pamekasan. Desain penelitian ini adalah mix methods dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII-A sejumlah 20 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tingkat keterampilan argumentasi pada konsep materi sistem peredaran darah manusia SMP Negeri 4 Pamekasan 58,56% pada kategori tingkat sedang. (2) Pola argumentasi pada konsep materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di SMP Negeri 4 Pamekasan terdiri atas pola klaim, bukti/ data, pembenaran, dan argumentasi ilmiah dengan hasil skor rata-rata setiap pola klaim 81,75%, bukti 47,5%, pembenaran 48,5%, dan argumentasi ilmiah 56,5%.

Abstract

Majalah IPA terpadu merupakan bahan ajar yang memuat bacaan dan ilustrasi menarik tentang suatu tema yang dihubungkan dengan beberapa materi. Majalah IPA terpadu dikembangkan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Power Point. Pengembangan majalah IPA terpadu untuk mengetahui kelayakan, keterbacaan, dan respons siswa. Jenis pembelajaran IPA terpadu yang digunakan adalah tipe webbed. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE dari Branch. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa kelas IX MTs Al-Hidayah. Instrumen uji coba yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli media, ahli materi, angket keterbacaan, dan angket respons siswa. Hasil data validitas berdasarkan aspek media sebesar 80,2% dan reliabilitas sebesar 92,1% sedangkan berdasarkan aspek materi memperoleh validitas sebesar 81,7% dan reliabilitas sebesar 90,8%. Hasil analisis pada tingkat keterbacaan sebesar 87,9%. Hasil analisis pada tingkat respons siswa sebesar 89,4%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa majalah IPA terpadu berbasis kearifan lokal Madura tema rengginang lorjuk sangat layak digunakan sebagai pelengkap dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the increase in students' conceptual understanding between the control class using a conventional learning model (lecture) and the experimental class using a guided inquiry learning model assisted by interactive powerpoint on the material of the earth and the solar system. The study was conducted at the UPTD SMPN 1 Bangkalan school on grade VII students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample used in this study were grade VII-B students as the control class and grade VII-C students as the experimental class. The results showed that there was a difference in the average posttest score between the control class and the experimental class. In the hypothesis test, the posttest results used the non-parametric Mann Whitney U test with a sig. (2 tailed) of 0,000 which is smaller 0,05 which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. And there was an increase in conceptual understanding on the material of the earth and the solar system with an average N-Gain value of 0,58 which is included in the moderate criteria. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the guided inquiry model assisted by interactive powerpoint on students' conceptual understanding
