Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of the ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) model on the ability to write explanatory texts in class XI students at Petatal National Private High School." The sample in this study consisted of 65 students. This research method is an experimental method and the research design is post-test only control group design. The data collection instrument uses a test in the form of a Student Worksheet (LKS) to write explanatory text with the criteria: text structure, text integration, text characteristics, and accuracy of writing Enhanced Spelling (EyD). The results of data analysis obtained from the post-test scores for the ability to write explanatory text without using the ARIAS model (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) obtained the highest score of 80, the lowest score of 65, the average was 72.58. Meanwhile, the post-test score using the ARIAS model (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) obtained the highest score of 90, the lowest score was 75, the average was 84.41. From the calculation of the "t" test, the "t" table is then consulted at the 5% or 1% significance level with dk = (NI + N2) - 2 = 63. In the "t" table the level with dk = 63 is at a significance level of 5% = 2 .00, and 1% significance level = 2.65. It turns out that the to obtained is greater than ttable, namely 73.93 > 2.00 and 73.93 > 2.65. Keywords: ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction), Writing, Explanatory Text Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) terhadap kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi pada siswa kelas XI SMA Swasta Nasional Petatal”. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 65 siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dan desain penelitian adalah Post-test only control group design. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan Tes yang berbentuk Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) untuk menulis teks eksplanasi dengan kriteria: struktur teks, keterpaduan teks, ciri-ciri teks, dan ketepatan penulisan Ejaan yang Disempurnakan (EyD). Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dari nilai Post-test kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi tanpa menggunakan model ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) memperoleh nilai tertinggi 80, nilai terendah 65, rata-rata 72,58. Sedangkan nilai Post-test dengan menggunakan model ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction) memperoleh nilai tertinggi 90, nilai terendah 75, rata-rata 84,41. Dari perhitungan uji “t” selanjutnya dikonsultasikan dengan tabel “t” pada taraf signifikan 5% maupun 1% dengan dk= (NI + N2) – 2 = 63. Pada tabel “t” taraf dengan dk = 63 taraf signifikan 5% = 2,00, dan taraf signifikan 1% = 2,65. Kata kunci: ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, Satisfaction), Menulis, Teks Eksplanasi

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to (1) describe students' ability in writing speech texts without the Writing In The Here And Now method (2) describe students' ability in writing speech texts with the Writing In The Here And Now method (3) describe the influence of the Writing In The Here And Now method on students' ability to write speech texts in class XI MAS Al-Washliyah Petatal. Analyze the influence of the Writing In The Here And Now method on students' ability to write speech texts in class XI MAS AL-Washliyah Petatal. The method used in this study is a quantitative experimental research method. The population of this study was all students in class XI MAS Al-Washliyah Petatal totaling 122 students. The sample in this study consisted of 82 students, as a control class was class XI IPA1 totaling 41 students and the experimental class was class XI IPA 2 totaling 41 students. Data collection techniques were by testing and documentation. Based on the results of the post-test, the experimental class had an average score of 76.58 and the control class had an average score of 65.12. With a significant value obtained greater than the table, namely 27.9> 1.99. This proves that there is an influence of the Writing In The Here And Now method on the ability to write speech texts of class XI students of MAS Al-Washliyah Petatal. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Keywords: Writing In The Here And Now, speech text, influence Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks pidato tanpa metode Writing In The Here And Now (2) mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks pidato dengan metode Writing In The Here And Now (3) mendeskripsikan pengaruh metode Writing In The Here And Now Siswa Kelas XI MAS Al-Washliyah Petatal. Metode yang digunakan dalam  penelitian  ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen  kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MAS Al-Washliyah Petatal yang berjumlah 122 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian  ini terdiri dari 82 siswa, sebagai kelas kontrol adalah kelas XI IPA1 berjumlah  41 siswa dan kelas eksperimen adalah kelas  XI IPA 2 sebanyak 41 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil post test kelas eksperimen memiliki skor rata-rata 76,58 dan kelas kontrol memiliki skor rata-rata 65,12. Dengan nilai signifikan yang diperoleh lebih besar dari tabel yaitu 27,9 >1,99. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode Writing In The Here And Now terhadap kemampuan menulis teks pidato siswa kelas XI MAS Al-Washliyah Petatal. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Competition model on the Ability to Analyze Short Story Texts of Class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Talawi in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This type of research is Experimental research. The sample in this study was class XI-2 as a control class using the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Competition Model and class XI-3 as an experimental class using conventional methods. After the learning was completed, a post-test was obtained with an average result of the experimental class of 80 (good category) and the control class of 61.9 (sufficient category). The results of the to calculation that have been obtained show that the t value is obtained, then consulted with the t table at the 5% and 1% levels with df = (N1 + N2) -2 = (36 + 36) -2 = 70. The t-table with df = 70 yields a significance level of 5% = 2.00 and a significance level of 1% = 2.65 because the calculated t (to) is greater than the t-table (t1), i.e., a significance level of 5% (6.93>2.00). Therefore, the significance level of 1% (6.93>2.65) means the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates that the experimental class performed better in learning to analyze short stories than the control class. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis, namely that there is a significant influence of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Competition model on the ability to analyze short stories in grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Talawi in the 2024/2025 academic year, is accepted.Keywords: model, learning, short story textAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Cooperative Integrated Reading And Competition terhadap Kemampuan Menganalisis Teks Cerpen Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Talawi Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI-2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan Model Cooperative Integrated Reading And Competition dan kelas XI-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan, diperoleh post-test dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen 80 ( kategori baik) dan kelas kontrol 61,9 (kategori cukup). Hasil perhitungan to yang telah diperoleh yakni menunjukkan bahwa nilai t diperoleh, selanjutnya dikonsultasikan dengan ttabel pada taraf 5% maupun 1 % dengan dk = (N1+N2) -2 = (36+36)-2=70. Pada tabel t dengan dk =70 diperoleh taraf signifikan 5% = 2,00 dan taraf signifikan 1% = 2,65 karena thitung (to) lebih besar dari ttabel (t1), yakni taraf signifikan 5% (6,93>2,00). Maka taraf signifikan 1% (6,93>2,65), maka hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternative (Ha) diterima. Hal ini berarti dalam pembelajaran menganalisis teks cerpen kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Maka artinya hipotesis alternatif yaitu ada pengaruh yang signifikan dengan model Cooperative Integrated Reading And Competition terhadap kemampuan menganalisis teks cerpen kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Talawi Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025 diterima.Kata kunci : model, pembelajaran, teks cerpen
