Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of Regional Regulation no. 38 of 2013 on the Effectiveness of Sorong City Government Apparatus Resources carried out by Sorong City government officials by providing development of Sorong City government apparatus resources through education and training, and to analyze Determinant factors in Improving the Quality of Sorong City Government Apparatus Resources regarding the computer skills possessed by the Sorong City government apparatus, the facilities and infrastructure in the Sorong City government apparatus, the working time of the Sorong City government apparatus, the level of education possessed by the Sorong City government apparatus, the performance of the apparatus, the competence of the apparatus and the discipline of the Sorong City government apparatus. This research is descriptive qualitative data obtained from several informants. The results showed that the application of Regional Regulation No. 38 of 2013 on the effectiveness of Sorong City government apparatus resources. Regarding development and education in Sorong City on the effectiveness of apparatus resources, it has been going well but is still far from what is expected because education has not been implemented thoroughly for the apparatus and community in Sorong City.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the government's efforts in infrastructure development in the Bamus Bama District of Tambrauw Regency and to identify the factors that hinder infrastructure development in the area. The research method used is descriptive, with a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques and data validity are applied, where both primary and secondary data collected are reviewed to ensure the completeness of the information obtained. The findings indicate that infrastructure development in the Bamus Bama District of Tambrauw Regency has been implemented effectively. The government has carried out planning by involving the local community in the Bamus Bama District and consulting with them on the infrastructure development programs. The infrastructure development initiatives in the district include road access, residential houses, clean water supply, and the installation of generators for the community. However, several challenges were encountered during the process, including a lack of coordination between the district head and the community, difficulties in transportation access, disputes over compensation between landowners and the local government, and delays in reporting, which often hinder the progress of infrastructure development.

Abstract

This research aims to study, analyze and interpret: Drug Control during the Covid-19 Pandemic from a Faucalt Governmentality Perspective (PT. Rifanti Asti Study, Sorong City). Because if you look at the phenomenon, there are still many complaints from the public regarding government regulations and policies during the Covid-19 pandemic. 19, as this research is descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach, data was obtained from a number of informants. The research results show that, drug control implemented by PT. Rifanti Asti during the Covid-19 pandemic, seen from the government perspective of the government of Sorong City, in various efforts that were considered strategic, were taken into action and made into policies by the government in an effort to overcome the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, including policy actions to overcome the impact it had on the social and cultural order of life. , and the economy of society that power relations. Distribution of drugs in government relations and drug trade in accordance with the applicable regulations implemented by PT. Rifanti Asti during the Covid-19 pandemic. The relationship between actors in the power network of parties positioned to be involved is a major concern in looking at situations related to health, which is always important on various occasions, regardless of various interests. Being wise in consuming information and knowledge is a strategy to accelerate the breaking of the chain of spread of the Covid-19 pandemic specifically in Sorong City and the entire West Papua Province.
