Abstract

Snail mucus (Achatina fulica) has a high protein content, which includes beta agglutinin, achasin protein, acharan sulfate, and glycoconjugate. The objectives of this study was to determine differences in physical evaluation of the quality of the gel preparation against snail mucus concentration and to determine the efficacy of snail mucus gel as a wound healing. This study used an experimental research method with a sample of 4 male rats (Rattus novergicus) which were divided into 6 groups in each. The results showed that there was no effect of the physical quality of snail slime gel (Achatina fulica) on the concentration of snail slime formulated. It has been proven in the Kruskall wallis statistical test with the Sig. > 0.05. The results of the wound healing activity test showed an average value of K (+) 49.61%, K (-) 17.48%, P1 48.23%, P2 43.63%, P3 43.43%, and P4 23, 97. Values that indicate differences in K (-) and P4 are evidenced in the Post Hoc LSD test with Sig. <0.05. It can be concluded that the concentration of snail mucus does not affect the physical quality of snail mucus gel preparations and snail mucus gel with snail mucus concentration of 10% is effective in the process of wound healing.

Abstract

The management of village fund allocation is still not optimal in accordance with the objectives of Village Fund Allocation (ADD). The purpose of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) is to finance village government programs in carrying out government activities and empowering the population. The aim of this research is to determine the Management of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) from an Islamic Economic Perspective in Sukajaya Village, Anak Ratu Aji District, Central Lampung Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of the research show that the Management of Village Fund Allocations in Increasing Development in Sukajaya Village, Anak Ratu Aji District, Central Lampung Regency, goes through three stages, namely planning, implementation and accountability. The management of Village Fund Allocations in Sukajaya Village is reviewed from Islamic Economics, in the Planning, Implementation and Accountability stages in Sukajaya Village there are still many who have not followed the procedures in Islamic development economics.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-module based on Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) equipped with questions that refer to the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) for high school students on the topic of linear motion that is valid, readable, and practical. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) research design with a 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research produces an e-module for the topic of linear motion in the form of an application that can be used on Android-based devices. E-module has material presented with POE stages in each learning activity, which has the opportunity to improve students' science process skills. Moreover, the e-module is also equipped with AKM questions on the same topic, linear motion, which is expected to improve students' reasoning skills. The results of this research show that the e-module developed is classified as very valid with a percentage of 95.6%. In addition, the e-module also has very good readability and practicality, with a percentage of 94.8%. Thus, the e-module can be used in learning the physics topic, linear motion, for high school students.

Abstract

Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a chronic condition requiring long-term therapy. Patients with heart failure accompanied by comorbid chronic kidney disease (CKD) require dose adjustment to prevent drug toxicity. This study aimed to determine the therapeutic profile and dosing appropriateness among patients with congestive heart failure and comorbid CKD hospitalized at RSUD Kabupaten Kediri during the January–December 2022 period. This study employed a retrospective observational design using medical record data with a total sampling technique, resulting in 72 eligible patients. Dose appropriateness was evaluated based on estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) calculated using the Cockcroft–Gault equation and compared with recommendations from The Renal Drug Handbook. The results indicate that the majority of samples in this study were female (54.17%) and aged 45–54 years (41.67%). Most patients had additional comorbidities (80.56%), with anaemia being the most prevalent concomitant condition. Based on CKD staging, the majority of patients were classified as stage 5 CKD (77.78%). Combination therapy involving two medications was the most common treatment pattern (30.57%), with a diuretic plus ARB combination being the most frequently prescribed regimen. The evaluation of dosing appropriateness demonstrated that 69 patients (95.83%) received doses adjusted appropriately to their renal function, while 3 patients (4.17%) received inappropriate dosing. Inappropriate use was identified in prescriptions of spironolactone and acarbose, which should be avoided in patients with low eGFR values. In conclusion, most patients with congestive heart failure and comorbid CKD received therapy with doses appropriately adjusted to renal function. However, cases of inappropriate dosing were still identified, which may increase the risk of adverse effects.
