Abstract

Penurunan hasil produksi dalam satu dekade terakhir telah dirasakan oleh masyarakat petani di desa Panaikang, Kecamatan Minasatene, Kabupaten Pangkep. Berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil panen. Ketidaktahuan petani tentang permasalahan kesuburan tanah, mengakibatkan para petani tidak dapat menemukan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam memperbaiki/mengembalikan kesuburan tanah. Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan pelatihan selidik cepat kesuburan tanah sawah untuk mengatasi permasalahan degradasi tanah di lahan sawah. Pelatihan diberikan secara langsung dengan mempraktekkan bagaimana menggunakan alat Perangkat Uji Tanah Sawah (PUTS) tanah sawah, dan dilanjutkan dengan simulasi yang dilakukan langsung oleh beberapa kelompok tani. Hasil uji kesuburan tanah dengan alat PUTS, memiliki nilai keakuratan terutama terkait pH tanah, Nitrogen, dan Posfor, yang sudah dapat dijadikan rujukan awal dalam penanganan status kesuburan tanah dan rekomendasi peningkatan kesehatan tanah. Nilai pH tanah berbanding lurus dengan kandungan hara-hara yang terdapat di dalam tanah. Perbedaan nilai uji PUTS dan uji laboratorium, disebabkan oleh adanya perlakuan yang telah diberikan oleh petani pada tanaman padi sawah berupa pemupukan sebelum pengambilan sampel tanah, sehingga memberikan hasil yang berbeda. Uji PUTS sebaiknya dilakukan sebelum penanaman padi sawah atau setelah panen, sehingga terbebas dari kesalahan pembacaan data. Pembentukan Desa Mitra menjadi keberlanjutan kegiatan sebagai wujud pendampingan petani dalam meningkatkan kesuburan tanah sawah di Desa Panaikang. Kata kunci: Tanah, petani, PUTS, desa mitra, Pangkep.   ABSTRACT The farming community in Panaikang Village, Minasatene District, Pangkep Regency, has felt a decline in production yields in the last decade. Various attempts were made to increase crop yields. Farmers' ignorance of soil fertility problems resulted in farmers being unable to find solutions to the issues they faced in improving/restoring soil fertility. Therefore, training is needed to quickly investigate the fertility of paddy soil to overcome the problem of soil degradation in paddy fields. The training was given directly by practicing using the Rice Field Soil Test Tool (PUTS) for rice fields and continued with simulations carried out directly by several farmer groups. The results of soil fertility tests using the PUTS tool have accuracy values, especially regarding soil pH, Nitrogen, and Phosphorus. These can be used as an initial reference in handling soil fertility status and recommendations for improving soil health. The pH value of the soil is directly proportional to the nutrient content in the soil. The difference in PUTS test values and laboratory tests is caused by the treatment given by farmers to lowland rice plants in the form of fertilization before taking soil samples, thus providing different results. The PUTS test should be carried out before planting lowland rice or after harvest to avoid data reading errors. The formation of Partner Villages is a continuation of activities as a form of assistance to farmers in increasing the fertility of rice fields in Panaikang Village. Abstract

The process of speaking allows children to express themselves, express ideas, and state thoughts orally. However, at Sinar Husni Foundation Elementary School in Medan City, it was found that there are still students who have low participation in class discussions, they have difficulty expressing their opinions, and lack confidence when speaking in public. This indicates a problem in students' communication skills. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Show and Tell method in improving students' speaking skills. The subjects of this research are students of Sinar Husni Foundation Elementary School in Medan City. The data analysis technique uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The methods used in this study include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that Sinar Husni Foundation Elementary School Medan City successfully applied the Show and Tell method effectively in improving students' speaking ability. This can be seen from 1) Increased student confidence, 2) Increased students' speaking skills with clearer information delivery, and 3) Encouraging more active interaction between students, both as speakers and as listeners. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Show and Tell method has a positive effect on students' speaking skills at Sinar Husni Foundation Elementary School in Medan City. This method is effective in increasing students' participation in class discussions and their confidence when speaking in public.

Abstract

Fluids are an important aspect of everyday life. A fluid is a substance that can flow. In the pipeline, the problem that often occurs is the occurrence of fluctuations in water pressure due to the sudden closure of the water flow. The purpose of this research is to study the effect of water hammer on pressure fluctuations at various heights, and to determine the phenomenon of water hammer on flow in pipes at various water surface elevations. The research method was carried out by testing the water hammer at hydrostatic pressure with a water level of 2.40 m, 2.60 m, and 2.80 m. The test is carried out in conditions just after the valve is closed. From the results obtained for the height of h 2.40 m, 2.60 m and 2.80 m have a discharge of 0.000543 m3/s, 0.000558 m3/s and 0.000568 m3/s. pressure fluctuations in the pipe for a height of 2.40 (m), with a duration of fluctuation of 12.48 (s), for a height of 2.60, (m) with a duration of fluctuation of 14.37 (s), and at a height of 2.80 (m) fluctuated by 17.56 (s). The higher the water level, the higher the fluctuations produced. The occurrence of altitude fluctuations is caused by the closing of the valve at the end of the pipe so that the water increases and after experiencing an increase there is a decrease in height until it is constant

Abstract

tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA kelas V SDN 19 Malewang Kabupaten Pangkep. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN 19 Malewang Kabupaten Pangkep. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumen, observasi, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: nilai rata-rata pada pra siklus diperoleh sebesar 35%, pada siklus I sebesar 65% dan pada siklus II diperoleh sebesar 85%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran Kuantum Teaching mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA.
