Abstract

This research to determine the perceptions of college students in Pontianak City on the level of adoption, use and acceptance of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive quantitative using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling and quota sampling techniques. The sample of this research is college students in Pontianak City with 180 respondents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with a focus on the elements of the average. The results showed the respondents 'responses regarding Attitude, Affect and Motivation towards online learning when the Covid-19 epidemic obtained the highest index value of 153, included in the high category, respondents' responses regarding Perceived Behavioral Control obtained an index value of 145.5 also included in the high category. Meanwhile, the respondents' responses regarding Perceived Behavioral Control have an index value of 120.5 in the medium category. The conclusion of research is that college students in Pontianak City prefer face-to-face learning activities compared to online learning. The ease of use of the online education platform and the acquisition of higher scores were also felt by students when participating in online learning. The majority of university students in Pontianak are still not satisfied with online learning

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of government policies and stakeholder involvement in improving the performance of MSMEs in North Kayong Regency. This research uses a mix method. The population in this study were MSME actors in North Kayong Regency, totaling 7,687 MSME actors. Sample selection using purposive sampling and quota sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, documentary studies and literature studies. The analysis method used is multiple regression analysis using statistical software SPSS 26.0. The results showed that for the role of government policy, the funding aspect indicator had a significant value of 0.000 (p-value 0.000 <0.05). The facilities and infrastructure aspect has a significant value of 0.213 (p-value 0.213> 0.05). The business information aspect has a significant value of 0.010 (p-value 0.010 < 0.05). The partnership aspect has a significant value of 0.002, (p-value 0.002 < 0.05). The licensing aspect has a significance value of 0.008 (p-value 0.008 < 0.05). The business opportunity aspect has a significance value of 0.001 (p-value 0.001 <0.05). The trade promotion aspect has a significance value of 0.749 (p-value 0.749 > 0.05). Furthermore, for stakeholder involvement, namely financial institutions have a significance value of 0.034 (p-value 0.034 < 0.05) and business associations have a significance value of 0.110 (p-value 0.110 > 0.05)

Abstract

 The research purposes are to analyze the influence of social media marketing and attractiveness on interest in visiting the Kampong Melayu Tourism Village (BML) Pontianak City. The tourist city of Kampong Melayu Pontianak relies heavily on social media marketing to attract tourists there. Therefore, in this instance, social media's accessibility and technological advancements indirectly served as a route for promotion to pique the attention of travelers. The attraction is crucial in generating interest in visiting the Pontianak settlement of Kampong Melayu. This feature has emerged as one of the most important elements in creating a favorable and alluring image for visitors, which can also benefit the tourism sector. The form of this research is quantitative, data is extracted and classified based on percentages. The sample in this research is people who visit the Kampong Melayu Tourism Village (BML) Pontianak City. Data analysis in this study used SmartPLS 3.0. The research results show that social media marketing has a positive effect on interest in visiting with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05 and attractiveness also has a positive effect on interest in visiting with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. Social media marketing influences visiting interest by 28.9%, while attractiveness by 56.6%. The ability of social media to facilitate the widespread dissemination of information—as well as its appeal from a cultural perspective, plays a role in attracting tourist interest.

Abstract

The process of speaking allows children to express themselves, express ideas, and state thoughts orally. However, at Sinar Husni Foundation Elementary School in Medan City, it was found that there are still students who have low participation in class discussions, they have difficulty expressing their opinions, and lack confidence when speaking in public. This indicates a problem in students' communication skills. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Show and Tell method in improving students' speaking skills. The subjects of this research are students of Sinar Husni Foundation Elementary School in Medan City. The data analysis technique uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The methods used in this study include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that Sinar Husni Foundation Elementary School Medan City successfully applied the Show and Tell method effectively in improving students' speaking ability. This can be seen from 1) Increased student confidence, 2) Increased students' speaking skills with clearer information delivery, and 3) Encouraging more active interaction between students, both as speakers and as listeners. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Show and Tell method has a positive effect on students' speaking skills at Sinar Husni Foundation Elementary School in Medan City. This method is effective in increasing students' participation in class discussions and their confidence when speaking in public.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study is to look at how employee engagement and leadership style affect worker productivity at the main unit of PT PLN (State Electricity Company) in the West Kalimantan Region. Design/Methods/Approach: An explanatory design and a quantitative methodology were used in the study. Documentary studies, questionnaires, and observation were some of the methods used to collect data. Customers who have utilized go-pay services in Pontianak made up the respondents. A Likert scale was used to measure the data, and multiple regression analysis was used. Findings: With a statistical analysis result of t-value 6.794 > t-table 1.984 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, the research findings show that the Employee Engagement variable has a positive and substantial impact on employee productivity in the partial test (t-test). In a similar vein, the leadership style variable also strongly influences the work productivity variable, as seen by the resulting t-value of 5.889 > t-table 1.984 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The estimated F-value is 91.568 > F-table 3.090, and the significant value is 0.000, which is less than the significance level of 0.05, according to the simultaneous test (F-test). Originality/Value: This study focuses on how leadership style and employee engagement affect workers' productivity at West Kalimantan's PT. PLN (Persero) Regional Main Unit. A crucial component is employee involvement. The study's findings can give the business information that it can use to improve decision-making procedures and raise worker productivity. Practical/Policy implication: This research can be utilized in formulating company management policies that emphasize the importance of employee engagement and the implementation of effective leadership styles, which can result in a more motivated and productive workforce.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of Self Efficacy and Perceived Organizational Support on the Performance of Employees of the Sanggau District Health Office. This type of research is included in quantitative research. The population in this study was 58 people, while the sample taken was 58 respondents determined based on the sensu technique. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables, namely self-efficacy and perceived organizational support, while the dependent variable was employee performance. Data collection techniques using questionnaires (questionnaires), literature studies and documentation studies. As for the data analysis technique using multiple regression analysis. This research has two output targets to be achieved, namely publishing scientific articles in accredited national or international journals as well as being a reference and evaluation medium for the Sanggau district health office in an effort to improve the performance of its employees. The results showed that Self Efficacy had a positive effect on employee performance (significance value 0.003 < 0.05) with a t value of (3.144) > t table (2.004) while Perceived Organizational Support had no effect on employee performance (significance value 0.221 > 0.05). ) with a value of t arithmetic (1.239) < t table (2.004), it can be concluded that the Perceived Organizational Support (X2) variable has no effect on the Performance of the Sanggau District Health Service Employees.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure on Company Financial Performance. The research object used is the banking industry with a total of 60 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2010 - 2012. The independent variable in this research is corporate social responsibility disclosure, the dependent variables are return on equity (ROE) and Return on Assets (ROA). The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure has no effect on ROA with a significance value of 0.672 > 0.05. Meanwhile, the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure on ROE has a significance value of 0.033 <0.05, which means that Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure has an effect on ROE.

Abstract

Nowadays, many people are switching from conventional shopping to digital shopping. Even so, online shopping is considered unsafe for the public. Many consumers search for information on the internet before shopping in physical stores. The purpose of this study is to investigate how webrooming influences search process satisfaction and determine the influence of webrooming on user generated content and search process satisfaction among skincare product users. This research is quantitative research. The population in this research is all consumers using skincare products in Pontianak City who experience webrooming in the shopping process. In this study, the number of samples used was 137 respondents using purposive sampling as a sampling technique. Sampling location in Pontianak City. The results obtained from this research found that webrooming had a significant and positive influence on search process satisfaction, then user generated content had a significant and positive influence on search process satisfaction, then user generated content also had a significant and positive influence in mediating the influence of webrooming on search process satisfaction.
