Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and job satisfaction on organizational commitment at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (Alfamart) in Serpong District. Organizational commitment is an important factor in determining the success of an organization, including in reducing employee turnover rates. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 66 Alfamart employees selected using non-probability saturated sampling. The results of the analysis indicate that work motivation has a negative and insignificant effect on organizational commitment, with a calculated t value (1.974) smaller than the t table (1.998) and a significance value of 0.053 greater than 0.05. Conversely, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, with a calculated t value (3.182) greater than the t table (1.998) and a significance value of 0.002 smaller than 0.05. These findings indicate that although work motivation does not have a significant effect on organizational commitment, job satisfaction has a strong positive effect. This study is expected to provide insight for companies to improve organizational commitment through increasing employee job satisfaction

Abstract

Banks are institutions with stringent regulations related to corporate governance implementation and the demand for high financial performance. Macroeconomic conditions significantly affect the financial performance, including profitability, of banks. The study focused on Indonesia's four state-owned banks, Bank Tabungan Negara (BBTN), Bank Negara Indonesia (BBNI), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI), and Bank Mandiri (BMRI). The research sample or saturated sample was the entire population. The 10-year observation period ran from 2011 to 2020. The panel data regression model with a common effect was used to evaluate the data. The data showed that CGPI and LDR had no discernible impact on profitability. While NPL and FOREX had a large negative impact on profitability as evaluated by ROA, CAR, NIM, SIZE, and BIRATE had a significant positive impact. All independent factors simultaneously have a major impact on profitability. All independent factors were able to explain their impact on profitability to a degree of 94.39%, according to adjusted R-squared, while other variables outside the model were responsible for the remaining effects.

Abstract

This study concerns with the implementation of National Health Insurance program, which was started on January 1 of 2014, which has caused changes in health area, especially among hospitals. The information regarding the senses, roles, and leadership model of the hospitals was acquired by conducting in-depth interviews with twelve informants from three hospitals in Tangerang City. This qualitative study incorporates the intersubjective phenomenology with IPA (Interpretative Phenomenology Analysis) approach.The analysis resulted in three propositions. First, strategic leadership is a condition where the leader has a broad vision with abilities in mitigating the future, managing risks, and creating excellent products within appropriate health services. Second, strategic leaders in the National Health Insurance era are instrumental in developing the resource capacity by creating commitments toward improvements of human resource competence and appreciation for higher work motivation. Third, the leaders guide the organization to adapt by making changes in the organizational structure and culture and controlling the implementation of the National Health Insurance through the utilization of technology. This strategic leadership is characterized by the presence of visionary leaders, the development of resource capacity, and the development of adaptive technology. This study produces a research model that can be applied not only in health industry but also in other industries by conducting quantitative assessments on the propositions discovered in this research.Keywords : strategic leadership, hospital, National Health Insurance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Work-life Balance, lingkungan kerja, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT Tiara Perkasa Mobil. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 53 responden yang merupakan karyawan PT Tiara Perkasa Mobil, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda melalui uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Work-life Balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Secara simultan, Work-life Balance, lingkungan kerja, dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan tingkat kedisiplinan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan, sementara lingkungan kerja belum menjadi faktor dominan di PT Tiara Perkasa Mobil. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa karyawan yang mampu menyeimbangkan tuntutan pekerjaan dengan kehidupan pribadi cenderung memiliki tingkat kepuasan kerja yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu, disiplin kerja yang baik mencerminkan kepatuhan karyawan terhadap aturan dan tanggung jawab kerja, sehingga berdampak positif terhadap perasaan puas dalam menjalankan pekerjaan. Tidak signifikannya pengaruh lingkungan kerja dapat disebabkan oleh kondisi lingkungan yang relatif stabil dan dianggap sudah memadai oleh karyawan, sehingga tidak lagi menjadi faktor pembeda dalam menentukan tingkat kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi, motivasi kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) di Kantor Wali Kota Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif kausal, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sebab akibat antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sampel jenuh, di mana seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian, sehingga jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 pegawai BKPSDM. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan indikator masing-masing variabel penelitian dan diukur menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji instrumen penelitian yang terdiri dari uji validitas dan reliabilitas, analisis regresi linier berganda, serta pengujian hipotesis melalui uji t dan uji F dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial kompetensi, motivasi kerja, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Selain itu, hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi, motivasi kerja, dan lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai BKPSDM. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kinerja pegawai dapat dicapai melalui pengembangan kompetensi yang berkelanjutan, peningkatan motivasi kerja, serta penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dan pertimbangan bagi pihak instansi dalam merumuskan kebijakan strategis guna meningkatkan kinerja pegawai secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tingginya tingkat turnover intention karyawan menjadi permasalahan serius bagi perusahaan karena dapat berdampak pada meningkatnya biaya rekrutmen, pelatihan, serta menurunnya stabilitas dan produktivitas organisasi. Dua faktor yang sering dikaitkan dengan munculnya turnover intention adalah kepuasan kerja dan stres kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan stres kerja terhadap turnover intention karyawan pada Perusahaan Kompas Gramedia Palmerah, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif kausal. Data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 50 karyawan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS, yang diawali dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, serta uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial kepuasan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention karyawan. Sebaliknya, stres kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, yang mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat stres kerja, semakin besar kecenderungan karyawan untuk meninggalkan perusahaan. Namun demikian, hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja dan stres kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa turnover intention tidak dipengaruhi oleh satu faktor tunggal, melainkan oleh kombinasi faktor psikologis karyawan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan menjadi dasar pertimbangan praktis bagi manajemen dalam mengelola stres kerja guna menekan tingkat turnover intention karyawan.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of democratic leadership and work motivation on the loyalty of administrators of the West Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN). Administrator loyalty is a crucial factor for sustaining membership-based non-profit organizations that rely heavily on active participation and long-term commitment. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consists of all active administrators of KADIN West Jakarta, totaling 50 respondents, with a saturated sampling technique applied. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that democratic leadership has a positive and significant effect on administrator loyalty. Participatory decision-making, two-way communication, and appreciation of opinions strengthen administrators’ sense of belonging and organizational commitment. Furthermore, work motivation also shows a positive influence on loyalty, particularly through intrinsic aspects such as recognition, self-actualization, and opportunities for contribution. Simultaneously, democratic leadership and work motivation significantly contribute to enhancing the loyalty of KADIN West Jakarta administrators. This study provides theoretical contributions to organizational behavior literature and practical insights for non-profit organizations in developing effective leadership styles and motivational strategies to strengthen administrator loyalty.
