Abstract

Pembelajaran mata pelajaran bahasa inggris kelas X SMAN 1 Belitang saat ini masih menggunakan proses pembelajaran konvesional, sehingga hasil pembelajaran yang kurang maksimal dalam pencapaian KKM. Maka Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggunakan pendekatan open-ended yang baik (valid, praktis dan efektif) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis  dan  kreatif  siswa,dan  membandingkan  keefektifannya  dengan  Buku  Guru  dan  Buku  Siswa Bahasa Inggris  Kelas  X . Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pengembangan pendekan untuk meningkatan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa yang  dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Belitang,Kab. OKU Timur. Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa produk hasil pengembangan termasuk kategori sangat valid menurut para ahli, praktis menurut penilaian guru, dan sangat praktis menurut siswa. Produk yang dihasilkan juga efektif, bahkan lebih efektif jika dibandingkan dengan Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan open-ended dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam mata pelajaran bahasa inggris

Abstract

Physical activity is very important for human health in carrying out daily activities. Activity lack of movement caused by too often playing online and offline games, internet, watching television too much will lead to the risk of obesity. A person's obesity is considered a risk factor for various diseases, such as diabetes, heart, hypertension and many others. One of the efforts that are considered to reduce the risk of obesity is to increase physical activity. Physical activity is not only limited to sports-specific activities, but also other activities that require physical labor, such as sweeping, mopping, washing, walking, dancing, painting, hoeing, walking and so on. This research aims to find out if there is an influence and how much information technology users have on the physical activity of students in SMK Negeri 5 Kota Bengkulu. This study is a non-experimental study. The subjects in this study were students of class X SMK Negeri 5 Kota Bengkulu by using a random sampling cluster consisting of 16 classes with a total of 558 students who were categorized as 72 male students and 486 female students. And from the results of the random sampling cluster obtained 5 classes with a total sample of 150 students. From the results of the calculation of statistics can conclude that there is no significant influence between the use of information technology on the physical activity of students. Because the data tests performed showed that the calculated r was smaller than the r tabelrhitung (-.717) > rtabel (0.197).

Abstract

Background of study: The Fourth Industrial Revolution demands graduates equipped with practical, adaptive skills beyond theoretical knowledge. However, conventional teacher-centered instruction often hinders the development of essential competencies, especially in vocational subjects such as graphic design using CorelDRAW, where direct practice is crucial. Aims and scope of paper: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Hands-On Activity learning model in improving learning outcomes, motivation, and technical skills of grade X Multimedia students at SMK Negeri 4 Mukomuko. Methods: A quantitative quasi-experimental method was employed using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving two naturally formed classes of 30 students each. Class X Multimedia A was assigned as the experimental group (Hands-On Activity), and Class X Multimedia B as the control group (conventional learning). Data were collected through validated pretest and posttest instruments. Normality was tested using Shapiro-Wilk, and homogeneity using Levene's test. An independent samples t-test was conducted to determine the effect of the treatment. Result: The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group’s learning outcomes. The normality test confirmed the data were normally distributed (Sig. > 0.05), and the homogeneity test indicated equal variances (p = 0.125). Hypothesis testing revealed a t-value of 10.57, exceeding the critical value of 2.0024, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. Conclusion: The study concludes that the Hands-On Activity model effectively enhances student engagement, motivation, and mastery of both theoretical and practical knowledge in Informatics, making it a suitable strategy for vocational education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat isu penting mengenai peran wali kelas dalam membentuk karakter tanggung jawab siswa di SD AL-QURAN AL MUTTAQIN. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dilakukan melibatkan total 24 siswa kelas III dengan jumlah 18 perempuan dan 6 laki-laki, dan guru kelas III yang menjadi wali kelas, serta kepala sekolah sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan keseharian siswa di sekolah melalui pembiasaan yang diberikan guru untuk melatih kedisiplinan dan karakter tanggung jawab siswa sejak dini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki dampak signifikan dalam membentuk kedisiplinan dan karakter tanggung jawab pada diri siswa SD. Lebih dalam hasil penelitian ini memberikan pandangan mengenai cara guru menjadi teladan dan contoh pengaruh positif dalam pembentukan kedisiplinan dan karakter tanggung jawab siswa dalam pembelajaran di sekolah sebagai bekal menghadapi tantangan kehidupan di masyarakat. Wali kelas sebagai guru tidak hanya mengajarkan materi akademik, melainkan memberi pengajaran mengenai penerapan perilaku siswa yang lebih baik dalam mengembangkan karakter tanggung jawab melalui pendekatan yang terencana dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, peran wali kelas sangat penting dalam membentuk sikap disiplin dan karakter tanggung jawab siswa melalui berbagai kegiatan di kelas selama pembelajaran, sebagai bekal menghadapi tantangan kehidupan di masyarakat.
