Abstract

Catastrophe is a certainty that not only muslims will experience it but others will take a turn. But for a Muslim to have to respond to every disaster he experiences with the glasses of Islam, and Islam has given the various solutions in his book, either by being patient and yielding or just called a laugh. Patience and benevolence depend on a Muslim for trials, as they contain goodness and motivation to always think positively of the requirements of god and to live their lives in spite of the tragedies that beset him. In surah al-Baqarah/2 : 156-157 is the cornerstone of the solution. The writer will examine how the concept of patience and benevolence should be applied to a Muslim In the face of a test. By doing extensive interpretation research and related articles, the writer has concluded that patience and psychology must be in accordance with the islamic concept in order to endure the tragedies successfully and to keep receiving the rewards god has promised in the letter al-baqarah.

Abstract

Community empowerment is one of the steps that can be taken as an effort to improve community welfare, make the community independent and raise the dignity of the community. The same thing is done by BUMDes Mangga Klonal 21 by organizing a community empowerment program in the form of training and processing mango-based products. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The theory used in this research is the theory of stages of community empowerment by the Delivery Team quoted by (Mardikanto & Soebiato, 2019), namely location selection, socialization of community empowerment, community empowerment process and also community self-reliance. The research results show that the community empowerment stages carried out by BUMDes Mangga Klonal 21 have gone well. It is proven that 3 of the 4 stages of empowerment have gone well, namely location selection, community empowerment outreach, community empowerment process. However, at the stage of self-reliance, society is still running quite well. This is proven by the fact that there are still a number of people who have not been able to run their businesses well and have been forced to close due to various factors, so community empowerment program organizers need to carry out more evaluations so that innovations emerge in further empowerment programs and also community empowerment program organizers need to carry out reviews regarding community businesses that are no longer running so that in the future no more community businesses will go bankrupt.

Abstract

The availability of platelets in the Blood Donor Unit (UDD) of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) is relatively high each year. National data show that the number of platelet bags collected in 2019 reached 767,680 bags, increasing to 957,397 bags in 2021. However, the surge in dengue fever cases coinciding with the COVID-19 pandemic has nearly doubled the demand for concentrated platelets (TP) in hospitals since 2021. One method to extend platelet shelf life is the addition of platelet additive solution (PAS), which has not yet been implemented in Indonesia. This study aims to determine whether TP obtained through the buffy coat leukofiltered pooling method and stored with PAS can improve platelet quality during storage. The research methodology includes platelet quality analysis using several parameters, including platelet count, pH stability, and aggregation testing through adenosine diphosphate (ADP) examination of TP products over the storage period from day 0 to day 7. The results indicate that the addition of PAS helps maintain platelet quality, stabilize pH levels, and preserve platelet function during storage. This is made possible by the presence of key PAS components such as glucose, sodium acetate, sodium chloride, phosphate, magnesium, and potassium, which contribute to platelet stability and viability. The implications of this study suggest that implementing PAS in TP storage could serve as an effective solution for enhancing platelet availability while maintaining quality over an extended period. Therefore, adopting PAS in Indonesia’s platelet storage system could be a significant innovation to support blood supply sustainability, particularly in medical emergencies such as dengue fever outbreaks and pandemics.

Abstract

This study evaluates the accuracy of locally manufactured syringe pumps used in Karanganyar District Hospital and analyzes their measurement uncertainty based on the ISO GUM method. Five Indonesian brands (Endo, Esa Tech, Inmedik, KalTech, and Krisma) were tested using an Infusion Device Analyzer at three flow-rate set-points (10, 50, and 100 ml/h) and an occlusion test at 100 ml/h. All devices met the standard tolerance limits (±10% and <20 psi). The expanded uncertainty ranged from ±0.09 to ±0.70 ml/h, indicating reliable measurement performance. KalTech and Inmedik demonstrated the most stable accuracy, while Esa Tech tended to over-read at low flow rates and Krisma showed significant under-reading at high flow rates, though still within acceptable limits. Statistical tests confirmed no significant differences among brands. Overall, the findings support that Indonesia-made syringe pumps meet technical requirements and strengthen the implementation of the national TKDN policy for reducing dependence on imported medical devices.
