Abstract

Rural society in Indonesia apply economic strategy where some of family members work for money. The family members work in some sectors; agriculture, self belonging business, or labour. In this kind of strategy, women and men have same role and responsibility to work in agriculture or other field. Among poor families, women's tole is stronger than middle up families. It can be seen from women working as a porter in palm plantation in Desa Suka Makmur.The problem in this reseach are: 1. What is the characteristic of a woman porter in palm plantation in Desa Suka Makmur? 2. How does a woman porter run her role in the family? 3. What is the effect of a working woman in family?. The purpose of this tesearch is to find out the chatacteristics of women porter in palm plantation in Desa Suka Makmur, how they run their families, and the effect of workin women in the family. Subject in this research is housewives working as palm porter. They are 6 women. Information is also gotten from some informants, which are their husbands. Writer ised qualitative approach, with purposive sampling technique. Data collection technique is done by interview, observation and documentation. For women porter in Desa Suka Makmur, Being a palm porter in palm plantation is a choice to help their husband. Being an extra bread winner without forgetting their responsibilities as wives and mother.Key word: women, porter, double boarden

Abstract

In this study the authors use survey research base with the type of descriptiveresearch. Sampling technique is done by simple random sampling. Primary dataobtained by observation and using questionnaires. The data analysis usingquantitative methods and frequency tables. Population and sample in this study wasthe Merchants Clothes that are in the city of Pekanbaru Tourism Purwodadi Mart.This study aims to determine the socio-economic life of street traders in the city ofPekanbaru particularly clothing merchants and factors that encourage traders clothingto immigrate to the city of Pekanbaru and why they chose that street merchants into ajob. The usefulness of this research into a particular entries Pekanbaru citygovernment in matters of employment and efforts to restrain the rate of growth,especially migrants from outside the city of Pekanbaru, and this research is alsoexpected to be a reference and comparison to other studies related to this research.Research results generally show that the clothing merchants dominated by ethnicMinangkabau of West Sumatra. This clothing merchants do not need high educationand skills. From most of the clothing traders who perform the migration, thepermanent migrants (settled) on appeal circular migrants (not settle). The level ofincome they earn an average of 100.000 - 200.000 day. Income they earn almostmeet their daily needs. Factors that drive to move and work as street vendors(Clothier) in the city of Pekanbaru is based by 2 main things that is the driving factorof the area of origin and pull factors of the city.Kata Kunci: Clothier, Sosio Economic Life, Tourism Mart

Abstract

This study aims to examine the causes of school dropouts in Madrasah Ibtidayah (MI) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Nurul Wathan Pusaran 8 Sub-District Enok, District of Indragiri Hilir. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with a population of 37 people, because the population is not too much, then it is done by census. The collection data obtained by using the method of observation, interview and documentation. Technical analysis of the data using quantitative descriptive analysis method. Based on the results it can be concluded that there are four reasons of dropout children in Madrasah Ibtidayah (MI) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Nurul Wathan Pusaran 8 Sub-District Enok, District of Indragiri Hilir. The factors are: (1) Economic factor 89,19%, (2) Social environment factor 86,49%, (3) Factor of their own accord 59,46% and (4) The motivation of parents 51,35%. so, the most dominant factor that causes dropouts are economic factors.Keywords: MI and MTs dropouts, descriptive quantitative analysis.

Abstract

There are some strategies should be considered and done by sellers to maintain a sale business such as customer satisfaction strategy, marketplace strategy, product strategy, price strategy, distribution strategy and marketing strategy in competition world. These strategies are done by sellers to maintain their stall business to increase their income. Yet the arguments have to be proven through a research to get an accurate answer. The questions of the research are 1) what kinds charakteristik by the sellers at the residence of PT Astra Agro Lestari and 2) how is the strategy implemented by the owners of stall around the residence of PT Astra Agro Lestari which is in desa Pangkalan Pisang, kecamatan Koto Gasib kabupaten Siak to keep selling. The population of the research is the sellers who sell at employee residence area of PT Astra Agro Lestari numbered 44 sellers. The technique of sampling used is purposive sampling with the sample is only 25 sellers who have sold for 5 years. The technique of collecting data is questionnaire. The data got of the research was descriptive quantitative. Generally, the result of the research found by the writer is there are some sellers who do not understand about strategies in selling, so it is expected to implement the strategies to maintain the selling business in gaining income and fulfilling family needs.Keywords : Seller, Strategy, Product

Abstract

This study aims to look at the use of smartphones among students. As forthe principal problems in this study is the first, the reason students choose asmartphone as a means of communication and information students. Second, howthe use of a student who uses a smartphone.Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that thereasons students choose a smartphone as a means of communication andinformation that is used is using a smartphone is socially and lifestyle. They say tohave a smartphone, they can follow what is happening in the virtual world.Smartphones have a wide range of applications, especially social media such aspath and instagram. If they go for a walk or are hanging out with friends then theywill apdate place and social mediated photo so that others know what to do withsuch respondents respondents feel proud.In terms of time utilization of respondents said that the smartphone to giveeffect to their lectures. They said that for various reasons. Respondents said thatthe smartphone keeps them busy. Busy is meant here is the time to play theirsmartphones could forget the good time chatting disosial media, browsing andrespondents who are addicted to the games they download on their Smarphone.before has a smartphone that students taking the time to learn quite a lot, theyprefer to learn from the play and spend time to play but after having a smartphonefew respondents are willing to set aside time to learn every day of her.Key words: Smartphone, Use Of Time And Students

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine how the patterns of socialization that occurs, the values socialized and barriers that affect the process of socialization of religious values in the family in Sungai Salak Rw 5 Tempuling Indragiri Hilir subdistrict. Where in each pray, pray tarawih fewer children compared with adults or people tua.Untuk know the patterns of socialization that happens, religious values are socialized and constraints that affect the process of socialization hamatan Nili-religious values in the family in the Village Bark River District of Tempuling Indragiri Hilir, the authors conducted data collection by using the technique of guided interview with the respondent. The entire Muslim population of the community who have children aged 7-13 years. Total Penentruan samples using sampling techniques of data collection by way of the overall population sampled, sample 54 parents and 54 young respondents. Results of research conducted shows that of the pattern of authoritarian, democratic and permissive, permissive pattern is a pattern that many families used to educate children in the cultivation of religious values. Religious values in this study include the implementation of praying, reading the Qur'an (Koran), fasting Ramadan, the morality of the parents and other people or others can be said to be good. In accordance with the goal of planting religious values to children as a handle and guidance in carrying out the teachings of Islam. If viewed as a percentage of the number of poor in the implementation of the values of religion are also quite large. It is theoretically influenced by how socialization received by children in the family. Obstacles in the process of socialization of religious values in Rw 5 Sungai Salak Indaragiri Hilir District of Tempuling District, that is the pattern of behavior that is different for each child, the attitude of parents who are too harsh and discipline led to the child too passive, difficulties in communication, the environmental influences and technological progress is very rapid. Abstract

The tittle in this study is "Tradition of Pilgrimage tomb Datuk Rambai In the Teluk Nilap comunity Kubu Babussalam district of Rokan Hilir". The study was conducted in the village of Kubu Babussalam in Teluk Nilap of Rokan Hilir, which aims to determine how the implementation of the pilgrimage tradition Makam Datuk Rambai and value systems that are inside. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research methods, that is the discussion of this study are presented and analyzed in the form of words of description (description) with a qualitative approach. This research was also supported by the implementation of in-depth interviews to sources (informants) that has been set in advance by researchers. So from the results of the interview obtained particulars were very supportive to the validity of the data that are the focus of this study. Based on the research results, in this tradition, there are several important things that is divided into two implementation pilgrimage tradition itself, namely; Pilgrimage tradition Makam Datuk Rambai in rituals starting reinforcements, as well as Pilgrimage tradition Makam Datuk Rambai in paying intention (Bernazar). Pilgrimage tradition Makam Datuk Rambai in rituals starting reinforcements carried out once in every year during the fourth day of Eid. Implementation started from 8 am until completed, with the purpose to refuse reinforcements and remove all forms of bad things and also diseases to the sea. While the tradition of pilgrimage Makam Datuk Rambai in paying intention (Bernazar) commonly carried out by people who have no intention / votive alone that are individuals or small in scope. Suppose as an example; No one from the people in the area who made a vow to the grave with the intention Datuk Rambai "If later he had recovered from his illness, he will hold a celebration of it, and will return to the tomb of Datuk Rambai to praying". Abstract

This study titled "Perception Outpatient Against Health Care in the Hospital District of Rambah upstream Rokan Rokan Hulu". Researchers are interested in this theme because of problems about services often constrained in upstream Rokan Hospital. The purpose of this study was to determine how perceptions of ambulatory patients to medical services in hospitals rokan upstream and the factors that influence patients' perceptions of the care in hospitals rokan upstream. This type of research in this thesis is quantitative descriptive which describe the results of research and analysis in order to obtain the results and then conclude. The unit of analysis in this study were outpatients who had previously been determined researcher. Data collection techniques in this study is the observation, questionnaire and documentation. From the results of research in the field that the perception of outpatient visits to health services on the overall dimensions of service is good, is seen from the perception outpatient berpersepsi mostly positive, although there are some that berpersepsi masi negatively affect hospital services Rokan upstream. Then their influence on the perception of the patient's experience, from mood was not all that good mood berpersepsi patients are good also for patients berpersepsi good depending on the services they get, then the effect on the patient's knowledge. of facilities that are not all good perception of the comfort of the waiting room amenities are met.Keywords: Perception, Health Services, Hospital

Abstract

This research was conducted in Labuh Baru Barat Sub District, Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City. Issues of the research are (1) how the social network forms between scavenger, used containers, and factory agent? (2) what factors influence the closeness of relationships in social network between scavengers and container used goods and container used goods with factory agent? The purpose of researc is to determine the form of social networks that occur between scavengers, container used goods, and factory agent. To find out the relationship of closeness that occurs between scavengers with container use goods and container use goods with factory agent. The sample determination technique was determined by purposive sampling because the author had determined a number of subject criteria to be carried out as many as 5 second hand containers and 5 scavengers. The author uses qualitative research conducted by the author is descriptive qualitative research with data collection technique namely observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The type of research conducted by author is descriptive qualitative research. The result from field say that the form of a social network that holds used goods in Labuh Baru Barat Sub District of Payung Sekaki District is a horizontal and vertical network. The form of attachment in social network is the production relationship, relationship between accounts receivable debt, personal relationships, relationship in freight forwarding, payment relationship, hospitality relationship, and solidarity in used goods collection.Keyword: Social Network, Second Hand Container

Abstract

This research is entitled "Cultural Commercialization in the Context of Lumping Horse Art (Study in the Krido Turonggo Mulyo Circle) in Tarai Village, Build Mine District in Kampar Regency". The study was conducted in Tarai Bangun Village, Tambang Sub-District, Kampar Regency, which aims to find out the community profile on the Krido Turonggo Mulyo Horse Arts and the form of commercialization at the Seni Kuda Lumping Krido Turonggo Mulyo association. The method used in this research is Descriptive Qualitative research method, namely the discussion of this research is presented and analyzed in the form of a description of the words (descriptions) with a qualitative approach. This research is also supported by the implementation of in-depth interviews with informants (informants) that have been determined in advance by researchers. So from the results of the interview obtained information that is very supportive for the validity of the data that became the focus of this research. Based on the results of research in the art of Krido Turonggo Mulyo lumping horse, uniqueness and change has been found from time to time and has been able to establish a good relationship by being able to collaborate with one of the motorized vehicle products, namely Yamaha. Among the uniqueness is that there were found six members of the Batak and Minang horse lumping arts community totaling six people, one Minang tribe, then five Batak tribes. These changes can be seen in the possession aspect experienced by dancers who once looked terrible now are more entertaining and humorous. The collaboration with Yamaha is meant to carry out cooperative relations aimed at producing economy and services.
