Abstract

This research entitled "Delivery of Marriage in the Malay Tribe".The research was conducted in TanjungKuyo Village, PangkalanLesung Sub-district, Pelalawan Regency, which aims to find out the meaning of conductivity for the bride in the Malay tribe and how their perception of the conductor in Malay Tribe.This research is a qualitative research, subject in this research is key informant who know about Delivery of Tribal Marriage in Malay like Head of Custom or custom leader, MakAndam, figure of Religion.The object in this study was taken by using purposive sampling technique where the people who used as informants are those who experience or who will take a marriage in the Malay tribe such as, prospective groom, prospective bride, bride who is married, bride who has been Married, the prospective family of men and the family of prospective women, along with the family of the bride who is married either next to men and women.To collect research data using Observation guidelines, interviews (guide) and documentation.The results of the study illustrate that the meaning of the merchandise of wedding is not much is known by every prospective bride who wants to get married and they do not know what the implied meaning of the goods that prospective women asked.And the type of delivery goods provided by the groom's candidate is not based on symbols and meaning, but depending on the needs of the prospective bride needsAnd the present day marriage is different from the old days, that the money is a request from the prospective bride who must be paid from the party for the wedding party with the number of that agreed with the request of a high amount.The implementation of a marriage is determined by the family of the bride. The allowance money is set by the outsider of the woman's relative and mediated by ninikmamak the woman to ninikmamak man although in fact the determination of this money does not match the capability of the male candidate.Keywords: Meaning, perception, and conductivity

Abstract

Maxim was a plafrorm that provided service of transportation in the form of online motorcycle taxi in Pekanbaru City. Many types of transportation services, both online and offline available in Pekanbaru City caused Maxim riders to have difficulty finding passengers. The competition that occurs between these transportation services made it difficult for Maxim riders to meet their daily income. The Covid-19 pandemic was also one of the factors of difficulty in working as a Maxim riders. This study aims to find out how the survival strategy was carried out by the Maxim riders to be able to compete with its predecessor ojol platforms such as Grab and Go-Jek in working as a service that serves transportation in the form of online motorcycle taxis in order to meet their needs and what forms of innovation were carried out by the riders. Maxim riders during a pandemic so that they can still work normally and can still meet their income targets according to the needs of Maxim riders. The research data were collected through observation and documentation interview methods. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. From the results of the analysis in this study, it could be concluded that the Maxim riders used three survival strategies that are applied in their work to stay afloat. The survival strategies used were active strategies, passive strategies and network strategies to meet their needs in working as a Maxim riders. Abstract

Social Corner being the community that have main focus on community empowerment and environmental. The goal of this study is to know the role and capital that attached in Social Corner Community. Using the qualitative approach, the author chooses the informants purposively consist of director and community member. This study found that the main principle of Social Corner in carrying out activities is the development of partnership networks with cross-sectoral both fellow communities who pay attention to the same or different issues as well as government and private element. The activities based on partnership and what the community does itself, such as waste volunteers, community assistance, and hygiene campaigns can provide benefits to the community. This benchmark can be seen from the award that giving by Pekanbaru government to Social Corner as youth community of city pioneers worthy of Pekanbaru in 2019. Meanwhile the most powerful and prominent formof social capital is from social networks that can be form and maintained as the main base of community activities. The weakest element lies on member’s commitment to agreed norms in the form of AD/ART. Not all members following that regulations, because most of them are students who have activities outside the community. Nevertheless the members with low commitment is not penalized, because all of decisions are made on the principle of kinship and flexible tolerance.
