Abstract

This research was conducted at Pagi Arengka Baru Market, Mapoyan Damai District, East Sidomulyo Timur Pekanbaru with the following problems, namely (1) How are the elements of social capital developed by fruit stall traders ar Arengka Baru Market, Pekanbaru City (2) What are types of social capital for fruit traders in the Arengka Baru market in Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study was to analyze the analysis data, know and describe how the elements of social capital in the fruit stall traders at the Arengka Baru market, and to analyze the data, and to find out the types of social capital developed by fruit stall traders in the Arengka Baru market, Pekanbaru City. This research uses destiptive qualitative research methods, The subjects in this study were taken usin purposive sampling technique, namely they are fruit kiosk traders who sell various types of fruit in Arengka Baru market Pekanbaru City. To collect research data using in-depth interview guide data, observation and documentation. The results of study found that the norms in fruit traders (negotiation systems, goods damage system, deliberation) were formed because of the agreed and upheld norms, asa well as the existence of values (kinship, brotherhood, honesty, and patience by each individual). Network (Bounding Social Capital, namely similarity in ethnicity, and similarity in fate). Bridging social capital: (towards new agents who offer cooperation and expand customers) is formed because there is a meeting poit of common values and norms and the existence of cooperation. This cooperation can be created with a common identity and reciprocal norms. Abstract

The problem of this study showed the factors which influence mother’s interest in visiting Posyandu in Local Clinic Simpang Raru, Tampan. Mother’s interest could be measure through intensity of visiting Posyandu every year. This study used quota sampling technique. The population was all of mothers who have children in Simpang Baru, Tampan at Jalan Uka. The sample was, 30 mothers who always, rare, and never, visiting Posyandu. The data nalysis is descriptive quantitative. The data collection technique are questionnaire and interview.The theory used in this study were interest theory by Hurlock, social action theory by Weber and Health belief model by Rosentock. By this study, it could be concluded that mother’s interest in Reflesia Posyandu in Local Clinic Simpang Baru, Tampan belonged to high percentage, that show 67,7 % mother visited, brought their child to posyandu and thought that posyandu was important. It showed that the mother has good consciousness to visit posyandu. It could be seen when the mother who always visit posyandu more than the mother who rarely visit and never visit. This study also showed that the other factors which influence mother’s interest in visiting posyandu are the distance between the house and posyandu, and their occupation. The distance influenced the mother’s interest that 67,6 % the mother whose house near to posyandu tend to visit posyandu, and the rest is the mother, whose house far away, never visiting posyandu. The most influence factor was kind of mother’s occupation that 73,3 % had unattached occupation was always visiting PosyanduKeywords : Interest, Mother,Posyandu

Abstract

A cultural history of the area first studied population itself. KenagarianPulau Gadang is included in Kampar administration area adjacent to SumatraBarat culture is synonymous with, which consists of the Desa Pulau gadang andthe village of Koto Masjid as a region located Kenagarian the Kecamatan XIIIKoto Kampar. Kenagarian Pulau Gadang Inscribed Stone districts connected byroad. Road conditions are mostly in good condition. In general, peopleKenagarian Pulau Gadang has a fairly high mobility. Mobility is evidenced by themany people both in and out of and into the Koto Masjid every day. Populationmobility is strongly supported by aksibilitas area fairly easily both to the districtand the city center. Humans need other humans to live together and cooperate. Hewas determined to live in groups and society. Small groups in society PulauGadang is a tribal village, while the largest group, are seen from the perspective ofindigenous villages. Tribe as the smallest group, must be well understood andinternalized by society Pulau Gadang. Bainduak home is open to anyone whocomes to the village of Pulau Gadang of any tribe as Batak, Jawa, Minang,Malayu, Nias, Bugis and others, for non-Muslims who return bainduak theyshould convert to Islam. Because in the Desa Pulau Gadang Muslim communityall. People who wander are required to place another person can to theenvironment in which it is located. Entrants must be able to take care of theenvironment around them, become part of his new community. Someone must befused with the migrating into their new hometown. Bainduak home not only forimmigrants, there is also a return bainduak because someone found a soul mate inthe Island Tower. Abstract

Bagansiapiapi had so many coffee shops scattered roads in every town of bagansiapiapi. Coffee shops scattered roads in every town and every day is filled with visitors references mainly male. Sat in the shops coffee is a become a habit for the local community. People who were in the coffee shop of the join of various elements among the public. Problems in the research is that citizens who become visitors coffee shop in the town of bagansiapiapi, whatever the motivation of the community sat in the shops coffee and what are the functions of the coffee shops for people in bagansiapiapi.The purpose of this research is to find out who the citizens become visitors coffee shop in bagansiapiapi, would like to know the motivation and learning what the community sit in the shops coffee in bagansiapiapi, and want to discover and learn what are the `functions of the coffee shops for people in bagansiapiapi. This research uses Functional theory by Robert K Merton, This research method is descriptive qualitative informant selection techniques used in this study was accidental sampling, sampling technique using purposive sampling. Who become informants in this study were people who visit and sit diwarung coffee.Based on the results of the research community who visit there in coffee maker in shops bagansiapiapi as influenced by friends and neighbors, on the other hand also the price is affordable. Visitors coffee shop that exists in bagansiapiapi is dominated by men who made their living as entrepreneur. Of the many visitors on average aged 24-45 years and above. The main purpose of the community visit in the shops coffee is as a source of actual information, coffee shops a place to socialize, as a source of income, and on the other hand coffee shops also serve as a meeting place for visitors and business lobby coffee shop especially for people in the town of bagansiapiapi.Key words: Functional, folkways, coffee shop

Abstract

This study entitled " Community Response Against Economic Enterprises Village Savings and Loans ( UED - SP ) Island Village Foul Jaya Regency DistrictsInuman District Kuantan Singingi”. Researchers are interested to raise this friend because of the problems that exist in society about how public opinion about the program UED – SP. Data analysis was conducted to address the existing problems in this study is are analyzed quantitatively that provide a picture of the actual state of society, concerns the public response to government programs ( UED - SP ) were analyzed based on the theories in this study. Here's the problem : (1) Who are the recipients of loans UED - SP in the village of Rot Jaya Regency Districts Inuman District Kuantan Singingi. (2) For any loan funds used by the UED - SP Desa Jaya District Rotten Island Regency Districts Inuman District Kuantan Singingi. Data collection techniques in this research is observation , interview and questionnaire. As for the method of taking the sample population conducted by purposive random sampling technique , ie by 50 % in each character by counting the number of samples. Abstract

This research was conducted in Kecamatan Lima Puluh, Pekanbaru. The objectives of this study were to determine: 1) Parents' knowledge of the causes of stunting problems; 2) The role and efforts of parents in handling stunting in Lima Puluh Kota Pekanbaru. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study were parents of children experiencing stunting in Lima Puluh , Pekanbaru,the population in this study  amounted to 170 and the sample in this study was 63 respondents. Sampling using simple random sampling techniques The data instruments are observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the level of parental knowledge of stunting in Lima Puluh, Pekanbaru city is classified as high with a frequency of 52 respondents (82.5%) while parents with a moderate level of knowledge category are 11 respondents (11%). parents' efforts in handling stunting in Lima Puluh, Pekanbaru. A total of 62 respondents from 63 respondents (98.4%) met the nutritional and vitamin adequacy of toddlers, of these 63 respondents (100%) answered giving additional fruit and vegetables, 5 respondents (7.9%) answered not to consume while 58 respondents (92, 1%) answered consuming vitamin A, that 63 respondents (100%) gave immunizations to children. 56 respondents (88.9%) gave breastfeeding and complementary foods, 60 respondents (95.2%) did not improve sanitation at home, while 3 of 63 respondents (4.8%) improved sanitation at home after knowing that sanitation was what affects Stunting.  Keywords: Role, Parents, Handling, Stunting

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the role of institutions in the course of socializationtraffic regulations to discipline the driver's car in traffic (2) determine what form of trafficviolations committed by the driver of the car. Materials provided by the institution driving courseis divided into two, namely the material in an enclosed area and open area. To determine the roleof the researcher compared the course of understanding between participants driving courseswith drivers who do not use the services of a driving course.The results of this research found that the understanding of the driving technique amongcourse participants driving with drivers who do not use the services of the course does not have asignificant difference, or can be called both of them have almost the same understanding.But knowledge of the Law No. 22 on Traffic and Land Transportation, both on traffic signsand road markings and disciplinary problems in driving looks very striking difference is the levelof discipline driver course participants is higher than drivers who do not use the services of thecourse.keywords: Car Driver, Traffic Discipline.

Abstract

This study on "Background Selection Of Traditional Treatment On The Community In The Village Of Long Left Rantau Downstream District Kubu Babussalam Rokan HilirDistrict".Where the study was intended to explain how the implementation of traditional medicine by community village of long left rantau downstreamand what are the factors that influence the conduct of traditional medicine.Subjects in this study is that people go to traditional healers / traditional inthe village of long left rantau downstream.In this study the author uses qualitative research is research that produces descriptive data in the form of words written or oral, and explain the data through logical reasoning to draw conclusions on the terms of the logic and the data analyzed,so that it can systematically describe the situation in accordance with the phenomenon being studied.Data collection technique used interview, observation, documentation.Based on the results of this research community in The Village Of Long Left Rantau Downstream still use traditional medicine until now,they even believe in traditional medicine because they had been receiving treatment from the ancestors of the first to get it now.Every medication they are taking action to do to go to traditional healers or medicine, because they put the two treatments to medical and traditional.Keywords: Traditional, Medicine, The Village Of Long Left Rantau Downstream

Abstract

This research was conducted in the district of Kecamatan Tampan. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of peers relationship of students who are boarding in Kelurahan Simpang Baru district of Kecamatan Tampan, and reviewing the influence of the student adaptation strategy of the community boarding In the village of Simpang Baru charming subdistrict. The topic of focus of this research is the adaptation strategy of students who kost in the village of Simpang Baru Kecamatan Tampan district. The samples in this study amounted to 100 people. The authors use quantitative methods and use accidental sampling techniques. Data instruments are observations, polls and documentation. From the research conducted, the authors found that 84.0% of new students get closer to other cost occupants when they start living in the settlement-Kosan and 64% of old students often chat with other boarding dwellers during leisure time Were. Research has also found that there are several student strategies to adapt at Kos-kosan. That is as follows: Active strategies 72% of respondents are easy to get along with a new cost partner. Passive strategy, 28% of respondents said they do not like to travel too often with peer activities at cost. Network strategy, 72% of respondents said they like to participate in each activity together with a cost partner.  Research finds regression coefficients for employee performance positive value, meaning adaptation strategies positively affect the social relations of peers on the cost-dwelling community of handsome subdistrict. Variable regression coefficient value adaptation of 1.558. The meaning is that every increase of one unit of adaptation strategy will increase social relations by 1.558.

Abstract

Health is a state of well-being of body, mind and social life that allow people to live socially and economically productive. To achieve a healthy principle, services (MOH) has established 10 indicators of healthy living a clean and healthy behaviors. We shall run, at least 65% of people in the region who are capable of running PHBs as a pilot area to implement PHBs. The purpose of this study was to determine whether people in Teluk Binjai Village area is already running 8 of 10 indicators of clean and healthy behaviors are set by the government. The factors - factors that affect PHBs is knowledge, income and employment. Village of Binjai bay is one of the villages in Dumai City slums are still vulnerable to flood and dengue fever (DHF). Where 12 of the 20 RT RT classified as slums. This is because the population density is increasing and making the area in Teluk Binjai Village is classified as slums. The target is expected to run a clean and healthy life behavior, namely, the healthy behavior if the community can run PHBs above 50%, less healthy behaviors between 10-50% PHBs and unhealthy behaviors between 10-30% PHBs. Dumai city health department, noting that the District of East Dumai flood-prone areas and dengue fever (DHF) from 9 Village in Kota Dumai most disease dengue fever (DBD) accounted for approximately 32.07% 85 people are in the Bay Village area Binjai.
