Abstract

This research was conducted at Muaro Jambi 6th Junior High School, with the research subject being students of grade VII E and VII H. Researchers were interested in conducting this research because there had been no previous studies that discussed the curiosity of students, especially at Muaro Jambi 6th Junior High School, and curiosity is a very supportive thing in the learning process. By having high curiosity, the learning process (KBM) can run well, and learning can be meaningful. This research was conducted using observation and instrument techniques in the form of questionnaires. This study aimed to determine the level of curiosity of students of grade VII E and VII H. This study used quantitative approach and data collection techniques was Likert scale. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that students of grade VII H have a tendency to choose the category of scientific attitudes often more than students of grade VII E.Artikel ini ditulis untuk mendeskripsikan  rasa ingin tahu siswa . Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 6 Muaro Jambi, dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII E dan VII H. Peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian ini karena belum ada penelitian sebelumnya yang membahas tentang rasa ingin tahu siswa khususnya di SMPN 6 Muaro Jambi, dan rasa ingin ingin tahu merupakan hal sangat mendukung dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi maka proses pembelajaan (KBM) dapat berjalan dengan baik, dan pembelajaran bisa menjadi bermakna. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan instumen berupa angket. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat rasa ingin tahu siswa kelas VII E dan VII H. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuntitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, maka dapat diketehui bahwa siswa kelas VII H memiliki kecenderungan memilih kategori sikap ilmiah sering lebih banyak dari pada siswa kelas VII E.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the district of Kecamatan Tampan. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of peers relationship of students who are boarding in Kelurahan Simpang Baru district of Kecamatan Tampan, and reviewing the influence of the student adaptation strategy of the community boarding In the village of Simpang Baru charming subdistrict. The topic of focus of this research is the adaptation strategy of students who kost in the village of Simpang Baru Kecamatan Tampan district. The samples in this study amounted to 100 people. The authors use quantitative methods and use accidental sampling techniques. Data instruments are observations, polls and documentation. From the research conducted, the authors found that 84.0% of new students get closer to other cost occupants when they start living in the settlement-Kosan and 64% of old students often chat with other boarding dwellers during leisure time Were. Research has also found that there are several student strategies to adapt at Kos-kosan. That is as follows: Active strategies 72% of respondents are easy to get along with a new cost partner. Passive strategy, 28% of respondents said they do not like to travel too often with peer activities at cost. Network strategy, 72% of respondents said they like to participate in each activity together with a cost partner.  Research finds regression coefficients for employee performance positive value, meaning adaptation strategies positively affect the social relations of peers on the cost-dwelling community of handsome subdistrict. Variable regression coefficient value adaptation of 1.558. The meaning is that every increase of one unit of adaptation strategy will increase social relations by 1.558.

Abstract

The research purpose of decribe about the inner conflict of the main character in the novel Pudarnya Pesona Cleopatra by Habiburrahman El Shirazy review of aspects of the id, ego, and superego in accordance with the theory states that by Sigmund Freud. Step of the research was conducted to: 1) read a novel and to know the contents of the novel, 2) find the main of character, 3) symbol of exspression or utterance make the main character who is assumed about the inner conflict. The techniques of data analysis doing by: 1) choose of the inner conflict of the main character to aspect of the id, ego, and superego, 2) the interpretations of the data, 3) the formulate of conclusions and resultof the research. The result of the research talk about the aspect id, ego, and superego the main of character “Aku” and Niyala in the novel to happen inner conflict. The inner conflict they are to happen reflected the events that happened. The inner conflict event influenced by aspek id,ego, and superego inner conflict the main character “Aku” is more concerned with statisfying the id with ego. Superego functioning resulting in only little.  In the figure Niyala to happen balance between aspect of the id,ego, and superego.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of international trade openness on income inequality. The impact of international trade openness is to increase foreign direct investment entering a country. The higher the level of foreign direct investment (FDI), the greater the possibility of income inequality. This can be caused by the uneven trickling down effect of foreign investment. High unemployment rates can result in lower incomes for the remaining workers, which in turn increases income inequality. Then, high inflation can cause a decrease in people's purchasing power, which in turn can increase income inequality. The research method used is a quantitative method. The type of data used is secondary data taken from the official website of the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data analysis method used in this research is panel data analysis, regression model selection, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing using a data analysis tool, namely E-views version 10. The results of this research show that Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has a positive effect and significant to income inequality, the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) has no effect on income inequality, and Inflation has a negative and significant effect on income inequality

Abstract

AbstractPedagogical competence of history subjects at Al-Falah Islamic University in Jambi City, namely: (1) Ability to make learning plans, including: a) Able to plan the organization of learning materials, such as being able to explore and describe the material listed in the curriculum, able to choose materials teaching in accordance with the material, able to use adequate learning resources. b) Able to plan the management of learning to be achieved according to competence, have a suitable type of strategy / learning method, determine learning steps, determine ways that can be used to motivate students. c) Able to plan the use of media and facilities that can be used to facilitate the achievement of competencies. d) Able to plan learning model assessment models, such as determining forms, procedures, and assessment tools. Abstract

This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each cycle being held in 4 meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were PGSD students at Quality University. The results showed that in the first cycle, 37% completed the individual criteria for critical thinking skills or were in the less critical category, classically they had not been fulfilled because the average score was 60. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, 88% of students completed has met the criteria for critical thinking ability and classically has been fulfilled, namely the average value obtained is 85 or is in the very critical category. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the critical thinking skills of PGSD students through the guided Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model have increased.

Abstract

Learning Islamic law requires a thorough familiarity with the Qur’an, hence its study is crucial. One of them is the state of the art in canine poop education and sanitation. varied specialists have varied perspectives on dogs because of the variety of functions and benefits they play for people and the variety of approaches utilised to comprehend dogs. Among the jurists, Imam Shafi'i argued that this proves that canines are highly impure (mughalladzah), while Imam Malik bin Anas-Maliki held that dogs are not impure and that licking dogs is a form of worship (ta'abbud) that requires no more than seven washes. Similarly, Imam Shafi'i maintained that it is still forbidden to own a dog, although Malik bin Anas-Maliki held that doing so was permissible. Modern academics shared this view. The author primarily discusses canines from the viewpoint of the Qur'an, whose commentary takes the form of interpretations, discussing how canines are portrayed in real life and how the Qur'an explains the uniqueness of a dog.

Abstract

UMKM Rambak rumahan merujuk pada usaha mikro, kecil, atau menengah yang UMKM Rambak rumahan merujuk pada usaha mikro, kecil, atau menengah yang berfokus pada produksi rambak dengan skala produksi yang dilakukan di rumah. Biasanya, UMKM ini dimulai oleh individu atau kelompok kecil yang memanfaatkan peralatan dan fasilitas rumahan untuk membuat rambak.  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berjudul “Pengembangan UMKM Produksi Rambak Suci di Sragen.” berupa sosialisasi pelatihan produksi kerupuk bawang, pengemasan dan pemasaran kerupuk bawang dalam peningkatan pendapatan UMKM. Pada tanggal 27 Februari 2024, mahasiswa dan dosen ITB AAS Indonesia dan  UTP Surakarta melakukan observasi dan wawancara di UMKM Rambak Suci, yang dikelola oleh Ibu Sa’adah di Trobayan, Kalijambe, Sragen. Dalam kunjungan tersebut, mereka mempelajari sejarah, produk, dan proses produksi kerupuk Rambak Suci. Pelatihan praktek pembuatan kerupuk dilakukan secara offline, menggunakan bahan-bahan seperti tepung terigu, tepung tapioka, bawang putih, garam, dan terasi udang, serta alat-alat seperti timbangan, mesin pengaduk, dan pengukus. Proses pembuatan kerupuk meliputi pencampuran bahan, penyaringan adonan, pengukusan, pemotongan, pengeringan, dan pengemasan. Produk yang dihasilkan sekitar 30 kg adonan dalam 100 kemasan. Hasil observasi menunjukkan peningkatan penjualan kerupuk karena stabilnya harga jual meski bahan baku meningkat. Tim ITB AAS Indonesia dan UTP mengusulkan solusi untuk pemasaran dan keuangan, termasuk pemasaran online, pembuatan spanduk, microsite, dan logo, serta nota penjualan untuk memudahkan pencatatan dan branding. Media sosial Instagram diperbarui karena pengelola sudah familiar, sedangkan pembuatan akun TikTok dan legalitas NIB tidak dilakukan karena keterbatasan dan keberatan dari pihak UMKM.Kata kunci: produki rambak, rambak, Rambak Suci, Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM)

Abstract

This research aims to resolve the conflict between tradition and modernity as well as gender injustice expressed in the novel Kenanga by Oka Rusmini. Using a discourse approach, this research describes how the characters struggle to maintain their identity and cultural values ​​in the midst of modernization, as well as resistance to traditional norms that limit women's freedom in Balinese society. In the context of this novel, the conflict between tradition and modernity is reflected through character characterization, plot development, and use of language. This research also detects resistance and gender emancipation efforts made by the characters in the novel. It is hoped that the research results can provide a theoretical contribution in expanding understanding of the dynamics between the conflict between tradition and modernity in Bali as well as contribute to the study of Indonesian literature by providing an in-depth analysis of a contemporary literary work.

Abstract

Gamification,  an  approach  that  integrates  game  elements into  non-game  contexts,  has  attracted  attention  as  an innovative tool for increasing students' learning motivation. In  the  context  of  Islamic  education,  the  application  of gamification  offers  great  potential  to  make  religious learning  more  interesting  and  interactive.  This  research aims  to  explore  the  effectiveness  of  gamification  in increasing  students'  learning  motivation  in  Islamic religious subjects, as well as identifying challenges that may be faced in its implementation. Literature studies show that gamification  can  create  a  more  enjoyable  learning environment, increase student engagement, and encourage the development of critical thinking skills. Elements such as points,  badges,  levels,  and  competitions  can  motivate students  to  achieve  learning  goals.  However,  there  are several challenges in implementing gamification in Islamic education. One of them is the need to adapt game elements to  Islamic  values.  In  addition,  limited  resources  and technological infrastructure can be an obstacle.
