Abstract

This study has a background, among others, a decline in religious values which has an impact on the morals and morals of students. This study aims to describe: (1) religious values, (2) and its use as learning materials for Indonesian language and literature in class XI SMA. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The object of research is the novel “Cinta dalam Ikhlas” by Abay Adhitya”. The object of research is the religious value of the novel “Cinta dalam Ikhlas” by Abay Adhitya and its use as a learning material for Indonesian language and literature in XI grade high school. The technique used in this research is the library technique, reading and taking notes. The research instrument was the researcher recording the data in the novel of “Cinta dalam Ikhlas” by Abay Adhitya and books for writing references. The data analysis technique, the writer chose content analysis technique. The technique of presenting the results of data analysis used informal techniques. The results of this study can be concluded that (1) religious values include (a) human relations with God, (b) human relations with humans, (c) human relationships with oneself. (2) and its use as learning materials for Indonesian language and literature in XI grade SMA. Learning is carried out using the 2013 curriculum reference, KD 3.20 to analyze the messages from the two fiction books that are read.

Abstract

This research has a background, among others, weak and declining values ​​of character education in students. This study aims to describe: the value of character education. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The object of research is the novel Cinta dalam Ikhlas by Abay Adhitya. The object of research is the value of character education in the novel Cinta dalam Ikhlas by Abay Adhitya. The technique used in this research is library, reading and note-taking technique. The researcher recorded the data in the novel Cinta dalam Ikhlas by Abay Adhitya and books for writing reference. Data analysis technique the writer chose content analysis technique. The results of this study can be concluded that the value of character education includes (a) attitudes and behavior in relation to God, (b) attitudes and behavior in relation to oneself, (c) attitudes and behavior in relation to family, (d) attitudes and behavior in relation to society and the nation, (e) attitudes and behavior in relation to the natural surroundings.

Abstract

This research was carried out at SMAN 12 Pandeglang when students carried out practical field experience activities as practical teachers with the aim of knowing the use of Grice's cooperative principles in learning activities. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with observation and interview data collection techniques. Data from observations and interviews were then reduced, presented and concluded. From the results of the analysis carried out, it can be described that there is the use of the Grice cooperation principle carried out by practicing teachers. The use of the principle of cooperation includes maxim of quality, maxim of quantity, maxim of relevance. The use of the principle of cooperation above is well done by practicing teachers in order to deliver subject matter so that it can be digested and understood optimally by students.

Abstract

The research, entitled "Learning to Write Exposition Using Problem Based Instruction Learning Model, aims to find or find out the results of using Problem Based Instruction learning methods in learning to write exposition. In this study, the author uses a quantitative approach, namely quasi-experimental research with research techniques used include literature review, trial, analysis technique, test or assessment technique. From the results of research conducted that Problem Based Instruction is appropriate to use in learning to write an exposition. This is evident from the results of statistical calculations and the results of the calculation of the significance level of the two mean differences between the pretest and posttest values, it is known that tcount 12.30 > ttable 2.04 at a significance level of 0.05 with 24 degrees of freedom. That is, learning to write exposition using the Problem Based method. Instructions are good. Thus, the author concludes that the Problem Based Instruction method is appropriate to use in learning to write exposition in class X high school students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the moral values ​​in the novel Man and the Storm by Syahid Muhamad, describe the social values ​​in the novel Man and the Storm by Syahid Muhamad, and utilize moral values ​​and social values ​​in the study of literature in high school. This research is qualitative descriptive research, namely collecting, analyzing, using qualitative analysis techniques, namely Analysis of Moral Values ​​and Social Values ​​in the novel Man and his Storm by Syahid Muhamad and its use as teaching material in high school. The data source is the novel Man and his Storm by Syahid Muhamad. Publication year 2022 published by Gradien Mediatama with 248 pages. The approach taken in analyzing this research data uses a sociological approach with a Content Analysis content analysis strategy. The moral values ​​found in the novel consist of 6 honest values. Be yourself 11 quotes. Responsible for 4 quotes. Independence as many as 6 quotes. Moral courage as many as 7 quotes. Humility as many as 8 quotes. Critical of 7 quotes. Meanwhile, the social values ​​found were the value of love with 11 quotes. Responsibility for 4 quotes. Concern as many as 20 quotes. Empathy as many as 9 quotes. Collaboration with 6 quotes. Please help as many as 5 quotes. As for its relevance to being used as teaching material, the novel is worthy of being used as teaching material at the high school level because: 1) the novel is the work of a famous person in the world of literature, especially prose literary works; 2) the novel is a serious novel; 3) the novel is rich in life values, in this case moral and social values; 4) Suitability as teaching material has been approved by various validators such as lecturers, teachers and students. This study of the novel Man and his Storm by Syahid Muhamad is in accordance with the validation results given to the validator; and 5) learning about the values ​​in a novel is at the high school level. TP.12.5 students assess and criticize the intrinsic elements of characterization, plot, story, setting, and depiction of society in the novel.

Abstract

The research entitled "The Influence of the Project Based Learning Learning Model on the Ability to Write Dramatic Manuscripts for Class XI Madrasah Aliyah Mathla'ul Anwar Pusat Menes" aims to find or determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on the ability to write drama scripts. In this study, the authors used a quantitative approach with a type of experiment with research techniques used including literature review, trials, analytical techniques, test techniques or assessments. From the results of the research conducted, there was an effect of using the Project Based Learning learning model on the ability to write drama scripts for class XI Madrasah Aliyah Mathla'ul Anwar Pusat Menes. Based on the calculations, it is obtained that t count is 6.754 and t table is 1.661 with a significance level of α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom 66. The value of t count > from t table, then based on the criteria for testing the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is a significant effect of using the Project Based Learning learning model on the ability to write drama scripts, the results are higher when compared to using the direct learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze university students’ multimodal texts that integrate local wisdom values through the lens of Jean Piaget’s constructivist perspective. The study connects constructivist theory with digital literacy practices rooted in local culture, an area that remains underexplored in Indonesian language education. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on the process of students’ knowledge construction in producing multimodal texts based on local wisdom. The participants were third-semester students of the Indonesian Language, Literature, and Regional Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mathla’ul Anwar University, Banten. The primary data consisted of multimodal text products themed around the local wisdom of Pandeglang, while supporting data were obtained through direct classroom observations and semi-structured interviews. The research instruments included observation sheets, interview guides, and students’ reflection journals. The data analysis process was guided by Piaget’s constructivist framework, which examined the processes of assimilation, accommodation, and equilibration in students’ cognitive development. Data were analyzed through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation employed to ensure data credibility. The findings reveal that students actively assimilated local wisdom knowledge with academic theory, adjusted their ways of thinking and presenting cultural values in multimodal texts, and achieved a balance between cultural preservation and the demands of digital literacy. The process of creating multimodal texts also demonstrated experiential learning (learning by doing) and self-reflection, while variations in visual and narrative styles reflected each student’s individual knowledge construction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values of heroism and spiritual education in the novel *Segala yang Diisap Langit* by Pinto Anugrah, as well as its utilization as teaching material for Indonesian language in high school. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, where data is obtained through content analysis of the novel's text. The results show that this novel contains various values of heroism such as love for the homeland, hard work, patriotism, appreciation, love of peace, responsibility, and friendship, as well as values of spiritual education that include the formation of attitudes, mentality, inner self, feelings, and awareness. These values align with the objectives of character education in the Merdeka Curriculum because they can foster moral, spiritual, and humanitarian spirit in students. Thus, the novel *Segala yang Diisap Langit* not only has literary aesthetic value but is also relevant to be used as teaching material that supports character development. strengthening religious values and the holistic development of students' personalities
