Abstract

A nation's education can develop its country's progress and catch up with other countries. Parents are the first place to provide basic education, the first place to grow and develop. Factors that influence the success of the educational process are family environmental factors, school environment and community environment. Of these factors, one of the keys to education is the role of parents in the student's family environment as a driving force, an advisor and an example for their children, apart from being someone who loves, gives affection and is a place for their children to ask questions. It is parents who know the character and character of the child best so that it is more likely that the parents will know what the child wants. The way parents educate their children has a big influence on children's learning. The family is the first and foremost educational institution. Healthy families play an important role in education on a small scale, but are crucial for education on a large scale, namely the education of the nation, state and world. Based on this, it can be understood how important the role of the family in children's education. The way parents educate their children will affect their children's learning achievement. So that students can understand and have an interest in learning, parents need to pay attention to their children so they understand what their children need in order to improve their learning achievements. In reality, many parents still think that educational issues are the teacher's business, so the parent's responsibility to pay attention to their child's education disappears. Apart from parental attention, parental educational background can also have an influence on children's interest in learning, which in turn will influence children's learning achievement. Students' perceptions of their parents' education will influence their perception of the importance of education itself, which will influence their learning achievement. This is in accordance with the results of a study conducted by Pratiwi in Tangerang in 2015. The study was conducted on 80 class This is evidenced by the acquisition of tcount = 5.853 and Sig. 0.000 < 0.05. The variable level of parental education contributes 23.41% in improving the Indonesian language learning achievement of Health Vocational School students in Tangerang City

Abstract

The problem in this research is about the not yet the development of the optimal child free drawing creativity. The purpose of this research is to improve the creativity of free drawing of early age group B using sand media in PAUD Rianda Martubung Medan Labuhan.  The theory used in this research includes theories about free drawing creativity that discusses the ability of children in creating ideas / ideas, imagination / fantasy. The method used in this research is classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is group B PAUD Rianda Martubung Medan Labuhan. Number of children subject to 20 children consisting of 10 boys and 10 girls. To obtain the necessary data in this study used an observation sheet on the improvement of free drawing creativity. From the result of data analysis, the average value of children's free drawing creativity in the pre-cycle stage is 31.56%, in the first cycle the creativity of children free drawing is observed from the indicators of free drawing creativity such as imagination, ideas / ideas, confidence , diligent and tenacious, it has increased by 51.56% and in cycle II the average creativity of free drawing of children by using sand media has increased significantly to 82.5%, so it can be concluded that through the use of sand media can improve the creativity of drawing free early childhood group B PAUD Rianda Martubung Medan Labuhan.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sarana terpenting untuk mewujudkan kemajuan bangsa dan negara, hal ini karena pendidikan merupakan proses budaya yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan harkat dan martabat manusia. Dalam Undang-undang Republik Indonesia No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional Bab I Pasal 1 dinyatakan bahwa Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar dan terencana untukmewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, serta keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa, dan Negara. Artinya, pendidikan di sekolah merupakan proses yang terencana dan mempunyai tujuan, sehingga segala sesuatu yang dilakukan oleh guru dan peserta didik dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Melalui proses pendidikan terencana diarahkan untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar yang kondusif serta proses belajar yang menyenangkan, dengan tujuan peserta didik dapat mengembangkan potensi diri. Melihat tujuan dari pendidikan nasional tersebut, maka efektivitas pembelajaran harus ditingkatkan, karena proses pembelajaran memegang peran penting dalam menghasilkan atau menciptakan lulusan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Students consider Islamic religious lessons unimportant and difficult, so their learning motivation is low. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study was class VII SMPN 38 Medan Marelan which amounted to 147 students. The sampling technique in this study used the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 99 people. Data analysis technique using r product moment. The results showed that in the calculation of the r product moment, the value of the r count is 0.353. This means if the value of rxy 0.353 > r table 0.1646 then the first hypothesis is accepted. That is, there is an influence between the religious behaviors of parents on the motivation to learn PAI in seventh-grade students of SMPN 38 Medan Marelan. There is a positive and significant influence on parents’ religious behavior on students' obedience to worship. This can be seen from the results of the correlation calculation using r product moment, the value of r count is 0.400. Based on the r-value obtained, it is necessary to consult the product-moment correlation coefficient in the table with N = 99 both at a significant level of 5%, a value of 0.1646 is obtained, and at a significant level of 1%, a value of 0.2312 is obtained. This means if the value of rxy 0.400 > r table 0.1646 then the second hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the principal in improving the work ethic of teachers at MIS Al Quba Medan. Data collection is done by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The technique for checking the validity of the data used in this study uses source triangulation, namely by comparing the observed data with the interview data and comparing the interview results with the contents of a related document. The results showed: the role of the principal in improving the teacher's work ethic at MIS Al Quba Medan, the principal is able to create harmonious working relationships among teachers, is able to improve the teacher's work ethic through his role as Educator, Manager, Administrator, Supervisor, Leader, Innovator and Motivator. So that the vision and mission goals of the school can be carried out properly.
