Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the decline in human quality of life across various aspects. The direct impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is evident in the health aspect, such as the high number of positive cases and deaths due to COVID-19. One of the groups considered vulnerable to Coronavirus infection is smokers.  This research aims to understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on smoking habits and changes in smoking patterns, as well as smoking behavior (cigarette consumption, smoking areas, access, and ease of purchasing cigarettes) during the COVID-19 pandemic in Aceh. Method: This research employs descriptive analytics using a Cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used in this study is Convenience/Accidental sampling with a sample of 255 respondents. The instrument used was an online survey in Google Form format distributed through WhatsApp, and the data were analyzed using Univariate analysis. Results: The survey indicates that concerning the intention to quit smoking, 22% of respondents stated that during the COVID-19 period, they had already tried to quit smoking, and another 48% of respondents intended to quit, although they had not succeeded yet. Based on the  number of cigarettes consumed, 54% of respondents had reduced smoking, and 26% of respondents intended to reduce but found it challenging. Regarding respondents' knowledge about cigarettes and COVID-19, 90% of respondents had good to fairly good knowledge about preventing the spread of COVID-19, 69% of respondents had received information from various media, with the majority receiving information from social media and print media. Concerning access to purchasing cigarettes, 77% of respondents directly purchased from stalls, shops, or local stores, and the majority bought cigarettes every day or every 2-3 days. In terms of respondents' perceptions of cigarettes and COVID-19, 22% of respondents stated that cigarettes were a risk factor for COVID-19, 1% considered cigarettes to be a protective factor, and 77% were undecided. Conclusion: The survey indicates a change in the  number of cigarettes consumed by respondents before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, there is a need to  maximize of health promotion related to cigarettes and COVID-19, as well as strengthened the implementation of smoke-free areas (KTR - Kawasan Tanpa Rokok) and smoke-free homes. Consistent implementation of smoke-free areas is expected to improve public health, especially in controlling the risk factors for diseases and deaths caused by smoking and enhancing a healthy and clean living culture within society.

Abstract

Training on the preparation of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) business proposals for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) is a learning process in business proposals to obtain grants from government agencies or social institutions for business progress. In order to achieve this goal, community service was carried out in the form of training in the preparation of VCO business proposals for UMKM in Lam Neuhen Village, Kuta Baro, Aceh Besar. This method is done by training for one day and a duration of 4 hours. The material presented by the presenters is by way of presentation, discussion, and case examples. In general, this implementation is in the category of success. Participants seen from the responses shown. The implementation of this community activity is on schedule, attended by a large number of participants, and is supported by good facilities, mastery of the material and the ability to deliver good material to participants.Keywords: Training, Service, Proposal, UMKM, VCO

Abstract

A company is able to achieve its goals if all employees can provide maximum results based on work ethic within the employees, then the employees will work more effectively and more satisfactorily. This study intends to measure and recognize the influence of Human Relations, physical conditions of the work environment, training, employee development on work ethic in the Serambi Indonesia office. The population and sample are all employees totaling 50 people. The results of the analysis show that Human Relations does not have an effect on work ethic in the Serambi Indonesia office, while the physical conditions of the work environment, job training, employee development have a positive effect on work ethic in the Serambi Indonesia office. While the results of R2 are 67.4%, meaning that all variables play a major role in work ethic

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak budaya dan pandangan masyarakat non-Muslim terhadap keputusan menjadi nasabah di Bank Syariah Indonesia di Aceh, baik secara individu maupun secara bersamaan. Metode analisis data yang diterapkan meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, pengujian hipotesis, regresi linear berganda, dan analisis koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa, secara individu, baik budaya maupun pandangan masyarakat non-Muslim memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan untuk menjadi nasabah di Bank Syariah Indonesia di Kota Banda Aceh.Ketika dianalisis secara bersamaan, budaya dan pandangan masyarakat non-Muslim juga menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan tersebut, dengan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 60,1%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Competence, Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction on the Performance of Management Employees at Teuku Umar Hospital, Aceh Jaya Regency. This study uses a quantitative method, the sample size used in this study was 60 respondents. Research data  were  collected  through  a  list  of  questions/questionnaires  and  documentation  studies  to determine whether each variable affects the productivity of Management Employees at Teuku Umar Hospital, Aceh Jaya Regency. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of leadership style, workload and work environment on the performance of teachers and educational staff at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 (MTsN 2) Banda Aceh. The total population in this study was 57 respondents. This research data was obtained through interviews and filling in questions/questionnaires. Hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression analysis, the results of research using determination correlation analysis are intended to determine the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable with a correlation coefficient value of 84.4%. The results of the research show that simultaneous tests between the Leadership Style, Workload and Work Environment variables influence the performance of teachers and educational staff at MTsN 2 Banda Aceh. Then, partially, Leadership Style, Workload and Work Environment influence the Performance of Teachers and Teaching Staff (tendik) at MTsN 2 Banda Aceh.Keywords: Leadership Style, Workload, Work Environment and Performance of Teachers and Education Staff

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of work competency, work training and work environment both simultaneously and partially on employees at the Pidie Prosecutor's Office. Data collection method is through a list of questions/questionnaires and documentation studies. The objects of this research are employees of the Pidie Prosecutor's Office. The sample for this research was 33 respondents. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that in a simultaneous test the influence variables of work competency, work training and work environment have an effect on employees with a value of Fcount (90.093) greater than Ftable (2.911). Work competency has a partial effect on employees with the tcount value (2.326) being greater than the ttable value (2.040). Job training has a partial effect on employees with the tcount value (3.033) being greater than the ttable value (2.040). The work environment has a partial effect on employees with the tcount value (4.372) being greater than the ttable value (2.040). The correlation coefficient (R) value is 94.7%, which means it has a very strong relationship with employees. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained was 88.7%, while the remaining 11.3% was explained by other factors such as organizational culture, work discipline and job satisfaction.Keywords: Competency, Work Training, Work Environment, Employee Performance

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of digital leadership in shaping organizational culture at BSI Landmark Banda Aceh City. Considering the importance of leadership in the digital era, this research focuses on how technology and digital-based leadership can create an efficient and adaptive work culture. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, which involves interviews with several leaders and staff at BSI Landmark. The research results show that digital leadership has a significant role in strengthening communication, increasing team collaboration, and creating organizational cultural values that are more open and responsive to change. This research concludes that the application of technology in leadership can be the key to forming a more productive and innovative organizational culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of Work Environment, Work Pressure, Work Discipline and Digital Transformation 5.0 on Employee Performance at the Banda Aceh City Job Training Center UPTD. The population in this study was 39 respondents. The research data was obtained through interviews and filling out questions/questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis, the results of the study using the correlation analysis of determination were intended to determine the effect of independent variables on dependent variables with a correlation coefficient value of 84.4%. The results of the study showed that the simultaneous test between the variables Work Environment, Work Pressure, Work Discipline and Digital Transformation 5.0 had an effect on Employee Performance which then partially namely Work Environment, Work Pressure, Work Discipline and Digital Transformation 5.0 had an effect on Employee Performance at the Banda Aceh City Job Training Center UPTD

Abstract

Companies and organizations are currently facing challenges to improve employee performance in an increasingly competitive business environment. One of the factors that can affect employee performance is organizational commitment, which is influenced by organizational culture, communication, work environment, and employee motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational culture, communication, work environment, and motivation on employee performance at the Aceh Besar District Attorney's Office. The research method used is a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The research sample consisted of 68 employees of the Aceh Besar District Attorney's Office selected by proportional random sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring variables of organizational culture, communication, work environment, motivation, organizational commitment, and employee performance. The results showed that organizational culture and employee motivation have an indirect effect on performance through organizational commitment. Meanwhile, organizational communication and work environment did not show a significant influence on employee performance. Organizational commitment is proven to have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. In conclusion, to improve employee performance, the Aceh Besar District Attorney's Office needs to strengthen a positive organizational culture, increase employee motivation, and build stronger organizational commitment. Thus, the organization can achieve its goals more effectively and efficiently.
