Abstract

The natural laboratory is an introduction to practical tools that are directly obtained in the surrounding area. The application of natural laboratories in external schools is very useful because in extraordinary schools we can meet students who have physical deficiencies. Extraordinary schools in Hutaimbaru have shortcomings including the deaf, mentally retarded where students here can't hear, so that in this service activity direct practicum is used through the tools found in the place, so that the students understand better and the student's character is better. sharpened. This is because students know that with this natural laboratory, students indirectly know that the learning obtained at school can be obtained through students' direct experience.

Abstract

Laboratorium alam merupakan suatu pengenalan alat-alat praktikum yang langsung didapatkan di tempat sekitar. Penerapan laboratorium alam pada sekolah luar sangat berguna karna di sekolah luar biasa kita dapat jumpai siswa-siswa yang memiliki kekurangan dari segi fisik. Sekolah luar biasa di hutaimbaru memiliki kekurangan diantaranya tuna rungu, tuna grahita dimana siswa disini dari segi tidak dapat mendengar, sehingga dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini digunakan praktikum secara langsung melalui alat-alat yang dijumpai di tempat tersebut, sehingga siswa tersebut lebih paham dan karakter siswa lebih terasah. Hal ini karena siswa mengetahui bahwa dengan laboratorium alam ini siswa secara tidak langsung mengetahui pembelajaran yang diperoleh di sekolah bisa didapatkan melalui pengalaman langsung siswa.

Abstract

The problem in this research is an affort to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities at SMP Negeri 5 Angkola Timur in the matter of a system of two-variable linear equations in class VIII by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research subjects are class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Angkola Timur. The object taken in this research is problem-solving skills by applying the Think Pair Share learning model. From the results of the cycle test, the lowest score was 30 and the highest score was 80. There were 12 students who scored <65 (46.15%) and 14 students who scored ≥ 65 (53.85%). ). As well as the average value obtained on the initial test is 59,26. After giving action in cycle II for two meetings through the stages of applying Think Pair Share learning model, at the end of the lesson given a problem solving ability test to students, the class average value is 71,42 in the second cycle test, it was seen that 23 students (88,46) had completed their studies and 3 students (11,54) did not complete their studies. Abstract

Technological developments are increasingly rapid, students must be able to adapt to changes, be enthusiastic about learning, and care about sustainable development. Therefore, the Independent Campus Learning Policy (MBKM). A Decision Support System (DSS) or Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that is able to provide problem solving capabilities and communication capabilities for problems with semi-structured and unstructured conditions. The COPRAS method or Combination of Ratio Assessment is a multi-criteria decision analysis method used the alternatives involved in a decision. This research aims to obtain ranking results of outstanding students quickly and objectively without requiring a lot of effort. The results of this ranking will help Graha Nusantara Padangsidimpuan University, especially the Faculty of Engineering, Computer Science Study Program, in selecting outstanding students. From the conclusion above, the student selected to be in first place is A3 in the name of Benny Matondang with a score of 99.972 in first place.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology in the age of globalization has enabled the development of better information services in education. One of the new innovations in the use of educational media and technology-based learning resources and information is e-learning. The term e-learning has a very broad meaning and many experts explain the definition of e-learning from different angles. E-learning, or electronic learning, is learning that uses electronic devices as learning media and the Internet for learning activities. The concept of e-learning has influenced the process of transforming traditional education into digital form, both in terms of content and system. In addition, internet media enables real-time or non-real-time interaction between teachers and students. In the current era of communication technology has experienced rapid development, the internet is one of the technologies that is currently developing very rapidly. The internet seems to have become a basic human need from the top to the bottom, from the elderly to the children, even the internet has also gone global so that this world feels without boundaries. We can get information and communication in an instant, even from parts of the world that are very far from where we are.

Abstract

Decision making involving multiple criteria is often a challenge in the selection process, especially when having to choose the best alternative from a number of candidates. This study aims to build a Decision Support System (DSS) that is able to assist the selection process of the best candidates objectively, structured, and efficiently. The method used is the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT), which has the ability to handle multi-criteria decision making with a utility approach, where each criterion is weighted based on its level of importance. This system is designed using the UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling language to present a clear visual representation of the proposed system. The criteria used in the study consist of 5 criteria, namely: Work experience, education, age, status, and web address. Each alternative is assessed based on these five criteria, then the normalization process and calculation of the total utility value are carried out to determine the final ranking. The respondents or samples in this study consisted of 5 students registered in August 2024, from the five samples used, the highest utility result with code A02 in the name of Ahmad Suhery obtained the highest utility value of 0.6893, so that it was determined as the best alternative in the selection process. This system is expected to be a tool to assist in decision making.
