Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan laku hidup penulis novel berbahasa Jawa. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian etnobiografi. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, pengamatan, penggalian sejarah hidup (life history), studi pustaka, dan diskusi terumpun. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan pada sumber data primer yaitu Tulus Setiyadi. Pengamatan sejarah hidup dilakukan oleh peneliti selama mengenal, mengamati, dan memaknai Tulus Setiyadi. Studi pustaka dilakukan dengan cara melihat literatur mengenai Tulus Setyadi mulai dari media massa, penelitian terhadap karyanya, representasi Tulus melalui media sosial, hingga menyaksikan tayangan yang menyiarkan dirinya pada kanal-kanal youtube yang memuat tentang Tulus. Diskusi terumpun dilakukan dengan cara meminta kesaksian pada sastrawan Madiun lintas generasi yang mengenal Tulus Setiyadi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik induktif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa premis sosiokultural yang membentuk Tulus Setiyadi sebagai penulis novel berbahasa Jawa dan tujuh laku hidup Tulus Setiyadi sebagai penulis novel berbahasa Jawa. Laku hidup ini berkaitan dengan proses kreatifnya sebagai penulis novel. Tujuh laku hidup tersebut juga tercermin dalam karya-karya Tulus.   Abstract: The objective of this research is to provide a detailed account of the life practices of Javanese novelists. This research employs an ethnobiographical methodology. Data were collected through a combination of in-depth interviews, open-ended questioning, life history analysis, literature review, and group discussions. In-depth interviews were conducted with Tulus Setiyadi, the primary data source. The researchers observed Tulus Setiyadi's life history getting to know him, observing his behavior, and interpreting his actions. The literature study was conducted by examining various forms of media related to Tulus Setyadi. This included mass media, academic research on his works, representations of Tulus through social media, and videos on YouTube channels containing stories about him. A group discussion was conducted with Madiun writers from across generations who had known Tulus Setiyadi. The data analysis technique employed was inductive. The findings of this research reveal the sociocultural premises that shaped Tulus Setiyadi as a Javanese language novel writer and Tulus Setiyadi's seven life practices as a Javanese language novel writer. Those life practices relate to his creative process as a novelist. Tulus’ seven life practices are mirrored in his works as well.

Abstract

Permainan tradisional menjadi salah satu metode efektif untuk mendukung perkembangan ini, karena melibatkan aktivitas fisik sekaligus mengasah keterampilan sensorik, kognitif, sosial, dan olahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas permainan tradisional dalam meningkatkan motorik kasar anak pra-sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur (literature review) dengan menganalisis 11 jurnal ilmiah relevan yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu, seperti fokus pada permainan tradisional dan pengaruhnya terhadap motorik kasar anak pra-sekolah. Pencarian artikel dilakukan melalui beberapa platform database ilmiah, yaitu Scopus, Google Scholar, dan ScienceDirect, dengan kurun waktu terbit tahun 2019-2024. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional, seperti engklek dan bakiak, secara signifikan meningkatkan koordinasi, keseimbangan, serta kekuatan otot anak. Aktivitas ini melibatkan gerakan tubuh yang dinamis, yang merangsang perkembangan motorik kasar secara alami. Selain itu, permainan tradisional juga mendukung interaksi sosial anak dan pengembangan keterampilan kognitif melalui aturan sederhana dan kerja sama dalam bermain.

Abstract

This study explores students’ engagement in a blended learning environment within an English Language Teaching (ELT) course at the English Language Education Study Program, Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University of Samarinda, Indonesia. Utilizing a descriptive survey design, the research combined quantitative data from Learning Management System (LMS) analytics with qualitative data from open-ended questionnaire responses to provide a comprehensive understanding of students' engagement patterns and perceptions. The findings revealed that while students generally demonstrated high levels of engagement, particularly in collaborative and discussion-based tasks, several challenges were also identified, including technical barriers, difficulties with digital literacy, and a desire for more synchronous interaction. Students expressed positive perceptions of the flexibility and accessibility offered by blended learning, although they also recommended improvements in LMS navigation and task instructions. Cultural factors, such as communal learning values, appeared to influence students' engagement behaviours. The study highlights the importance of designing interactive, supportive, and culturally responsive blended learning environments to optimize student engagement and learning outcomes in higher education.

Abstract

The rapid era of technological development has had a major impact on the world of education. At least the challenges faced by the education sector are related to the use of Chat GPT artificial intelligence in the science learning process. Through science education, students can engage in the impact of science in everyday life and the role of students in society. The provision of quality science education will have an impact on the development achievements of a country. for this reason, research was carried out. The purpose of the research is to explain ChatGPT for the Future of Science Learning. A review is conducted on the state-of-the-art methods using the preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines We must know and practice changes in education and learning patterns at all levels of education by describing the characteristics of learning that are currently needed. The results of this research show that in science learning there are several main domains on which the learning objectives using the science approach pattern are based on the advantages of this approach. GPT chat can be used to get answers to various problems and questions, providing precise and fast responses. GPT chat plays an important role in shaping the science learning system of the future. Many benefits have been found from GPT chat in science learning.

Abstract

Currently many forms of sophisticated technology are used by many people. This of course cannot be separated from the existence of artificial intelligence. One form of sophisticated technology is Chat GPT which was developed by Open AI. Science as a collection of knowledge is the result of human scientific creative activity. The results of scientific creative activities will produce knowledge in the form of facts, concepts, principles, laws, and theories. Science is a human activity characterized by thought processes that take place in the human mind. With developing technology, one of which is Chat GPT, it will make the current science learning process easier. The research aims to examine the advantages and disadvantages of Chatgpt in Science Learning: Systematic Literature Review. The review was conducted based on state-of-the-art methods using the preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The results of this research explain that. GPT chat has several uses, advantages, and disadvantages in science learning. For this reason, GPT chat must be used as wisely as possible, so that there are no mistakes in its application in science learning or other learning.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills help students develop new ideas and concepts, imagine, find interrelated relationships, and have multiple perspectives on something. If their creative thinking skills are lacking, students will face difficulties in solving problems or learning questions. Mind Mapping helps organize numbers, letters, words, ideas, concepts, and other items so that they are not lost shortly. This helps students understand and develop creative thinking in science learning in the 21st century. Where the purpose of the study is to examine the Integration of Mind MAP in STEM to Improve Students' Science Skills in the 21st Century: Literature Review. This review was conducted based on state-of-the-art methods using the guidelines for preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA). The results of this study explain the Description of STEM Content (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics); Benefits of the STEM Learning Method, namely (Improving Skills, Motivating Children, Self-Evaluation, Fun Learning, Important Pillars); Advantages of the Mind Mapping Learning Model (Can express opinions freely; Notes are more concise and clear; Easier to find notes if needed; Notes are more focused on the core material; Easy to see the overall picture; Disadvantages of the Mind Mapping Learning Model (It takes longer to "see" the relationship between one idea and another. Often, material that is just a repetition of what was previously overlooked).
