Abstract

The aim of the program was community service types of application of science and technology byDatabase Creation and Usage Machine Maintenance and its Equipment at Muhammadiyah Kartasura and Jatinom Klaten as Vocational School to support the practicum process in the Muhammadiyah Vocational School laboratory. The implementation method wasbysynchronize basic inventory, then made a data base application by means of machine tools sticking with barcodes on a laboratory scale. With this activity, its will facilitating the implementation of routines and practicum readiness from time to time. Thus at the same time this will add value to the teaching and learning process atSMK which includes 40% theory and 60% practice manufacture.Through this activity it will also add value to their vocation which will bring the world of education and industry much closer, especially in the field of goods assembling and manufacturing.From observations while working with partners, namely SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura and SMK Muhammadiyah Jatinom Klaten, the obstacle faced is in coaching on the creation of a data base for the use and maintenance or readiness of tools for practice. The process of creating a database of equipment,usage and conditions,this will support the continuity of the practicum process smoothly. The making of this database will be transmitted and will become provision for students primarily for competence in the areaof manufacturing work or for future entrepreneurship. So it is expected from this process, students and teachers get a new way of learning, useful for students and the existence of the SMK in the future, particularly in learning assembly making and thinking steps to control the underlying equipment. Thus the students have enough competence and adaptive when entering the world of work related to the process design based on data collection and monitoring using technology growing of smartphones

Abstract

DZN Farm is a sheep farming group located in the village of Senden RT 10/04, Ngawen, Klaten which has potential in the agricultural sector, especially in the livestock sector. There are 10 breeders with a total of 150 sheep, which have been kept since 2020. One of the potential commodities of Senden village is sheep which are kept as additional income. The DZN Farm livestock group was formed with the aim of ensuring that sheep farmers who are members of the livestock group are able to collaborate with each other, and become a dynamic and growing group. Priority problems faced by partners include: 1) Production aspects including: Quality and availability of feed, namely the decreasing availability of natural animal feed in nature and lack of knowledge of utilizing agricultural waste, Utilization of livestock waste, namely the livestock waste produced has not been utilized optimally; 2) Management and Marketing Aspects, namely Marketing is still semi-conventional, livestock marketing is done by word of mouth between communities and via social media Facebook. The solution for implementing the PKM program is 1) increasing the economic income of livestock groups through engineering complete feed and adding value to livestock waste which is processed into fertilizer. 2) entrepreneurship development which can be achieved through digital-based marketing planning via websites, social media and marketplaces. Meanwhile, the PKM Program's output target is to create an environmentally friendly livestock model to improve the economy.

Abstract

Redesain ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan ulang motor Honda Beat 110 cc, sehingga dapat memperoleh gambaran dari data, cara kerja, dan teknologi dari Honda Beat 110 cc. Redesain ini diharapkan dapat memunculkan inovasi ataupun ide baru mengenai teknologi motor bakar, khususnya roda dua dengan empat langkah, yang saat ini sudah menjadi kebutuhan primer masyarakat, Metodologi perencanaan dilakukan dengan melakukan pehitungan ulang dari motor Honda Beat 110 cc. Mekanisme dan perhitungan dilakukan untuk tiap-tiap komponen dari motor bensin empat langkah, antara lain silinder, piston dan komponennya, batang penghubung, poros engkol, katup dan komponennya, sistem pelumasan dan pendinginan, serta sistem bahan bakar dan pengapian, Hasil yang didapatkan dalam perencanaan ulang dari motor Honda Beat 110 cc, yang merupakan motor bensin empat langkah dengan perbandingan kompresi 9:1 dan daya maksimum sebesar 8,68 PS (6,379 HP) / 7500 rpm. Dengan perhitungan atas beberapa komponen lain seperti silinder, torak, batang penghubung (connecting rod), poros engkol, katup isap, katup buang, sampai dengan sistem pelumasan dan pendinginan, serta sistem bahan bakar dan pengapian.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan studi efek pendinginan dalam cerobong evaporasi dengan variasi jenis-jenis distribusi semprotan nosel yang terdapat di program ansys, variasi jenis nosel yang terdapat di pasaran terhadap performa pendinginan dalam cerobong dan variasi sudut penyemprotan nosel terhadap distribusi temperatur yang dihasilkan. Penambahan variasi RH dan temperatur udara yang masuk dalam cerobong juga didiskusikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan secara komputasi menggunakan program simulasi Ansys.Ukuran cerobong berdiameter 1 meter dengan panjang cerobongnya 1.5 meter. Kondisi temperatur awal dalam cerobong 30 0C, fludia evaporasi berupa air dengan temperatur 10 0C. Kondisi batas masuk cerobong opening pressure dan kondisi batas keluar cerobong outlet pressure. Jenis distribusi semprotan yang digunakan adalah jenis rosin rammler dan discreate diameter distribution. Hasil simulasi profil kecepatan, fraksi volume uap air dan lintasan tetesan butiran uap air memiliki kemiripan dengan hasil eksperimen St. George dan Buchlin (1994) dan juga hasil simulasi Gant (2006). Analisis perhitungan teoritis temperatur rata-rata keluar cerobong dilakukan dan memiliki hasil yang sama dengan hasil proses simulasi. Dari proses penelitian diperoleh hasil akhir temperatur rata-rata keluar cerobong 21.470C untuk nosel jenis BETE PJ32 dengan jenis distribusi semprotan nosel discreate diameter distribution dan sudut penyemprotan 900.

Abstract

Sheep livestock business that is carried out by the community has the potential as a source of income, but it is still considered a sideline because agricultural business is still the main focus. The agricultural business undertaken is still dependent on chemical fertilizers which are fairly expensive steps in Senden Village. In addition, public knowledge of the dangers of chemical fertilizers is very minimal or even practically nonexistent. Likewise, the knowledge of the utilization of Sheep waste in the form of feces or urine has not been utilized as sufficient organic fertilizer. Knowledge and pregnancy enhancement are carried out with counseling methods and training in processing Sheep waste in the form of Sheep urine. The activities carried out are the preparation stage in the form of a location survey, the distribution of questionnaires to see the initial knowledge of farmers/breeders, the provision of material or training on wastewater treatment, and the direct simulation of how to make organic liquid fertilizer. The preparation phase of tools and materials that will be needed in the process of making organic liquid fertilizer (POC). The next step is the procedure for making POC. The last stage is the harvesting of POC, packaging, and marketing of POC that has been produced. The output of this community service is the utilization of livestock waste in the form of Sheep urine as liquid organic fertilizer. Farmers and livestock enthusiastically participate in this activity so that their knowledge and understanding of integrated livestock waste management.

Abstract

The general definition of gasification is thermo-chemical process of solid fuel form which becomes gas fuel with limited supply of O2 and it produces CH4, H2, CO, and impurity compound such as H2S, CO2, and tar. The objective of this research was to determine the influence of air velocity toward combustion temperature in order to invent the best values of air velocity for chopped wood gasification process.The research was commenced by preparing chopped wood as material for downdrft gasififier. Subsequently, glasswool was utilized as gasifier isolator in the gasification process to isolate heat in order to obtain the best heat efficiency. In the gasification processes, variaton of air speed was applied. The sample was chopped wood with gasification furnace in which the results of combustion temperature and combustion time were analyzed.The result indicated that the highest temperature was not depends on the fastest air flow velocity. Instead, it required a precise air flow velocity to gain the highest temperature. It was evidenced that the highest temperature gained was at 6200 C with v = 5.6 m/s air flow velocity. The longest gasification process was 13 minutes at v = 7.6 m/s and the fastestgasification process was 11 minutes at v = 5.6 m/s.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to disseminate research results regarding the application of microhydro energy power plants with the Archimedes Turbine system which is suitable for application in rural areas because it only requires a small water discharge. The socialization and dissemination process was carried out by establishing partners in Tliu village, East Amanuban, South Central Timor. The research was carried out in order to optimize the design of the Archimedes Turbine type by engineering the optimal spacing of turbine threads, the number of turbine blades and the slope of the turbine blades. The results of the research were disseminated to provide an overview of the prospects for an alternative Archimedes Turbine power plant to support daily activities in an area where until now electricity has not been fully enjoyed by the people of Tliu, East Amanuban, South Central Timor.
