Abstract

Background:  The shift in lifestyle in tourism environment in Legian Village triggers alcohol consumption. Excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages will have an impact on long-term health of one of them increased levels of cortisol in the blood so that the activity of rennin-angiotensin aldesterol system (RAAS) increases and causes blood pressure to rise.Objectives: To determine the correlation between consumption patterns of alcoholic beverage with incidence of tourism labor hypertension in Legian. Methods: Design of crossectional study with sample of 87 tourism worker. Blood pressure measurement using Sphygmomanometer and stethoscope. The consumption pattern of alcoholic beverages is obtained by using the form of SQ-FFQ (Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Qualitiative).Results: The most common type of alcoholic beverage is beer with a percentage of 40.2%. A total of 48.3% of respondents consumed alcoholic beverages with a mild amount and as much as 56.3% of respondents often consumed alcoholic beverages. There was a significant correlation between beverage type and hypertension (rs = 0.433), total consumption and hypertension (rs = 0.566).Conclusion: There was a significant correlation between consumption pattern of alcoholic beverages with incidence of hypertension in tourism labor in Legian Village

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Reciprocal teahing dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V semester I di SD Negeri 1Tulamben tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 Kecamatan kubu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V semester I di SD Negeri 1 tulamben Kecamatan Kubu yang berjumlah 54 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VA SD Negeri 1 Tulamben yang berjumlah 27 orang dan siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 1 Tulamben yang berjumlah 27 orang. Data hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk objektif. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Reciprocal teahing dan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dilihat dari hasil perhitungan rata-rata hasil belajar IPA kelompok eksperimen adalah 84,94 lebih besar dari rata-rata hasil belajar IPA kelompok kontrol adalah 68,38, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Reciprocal teahing berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VA di SD Negeri 1 Tulamben Kecamatan Kubu.Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran Reciprocal teaching, Hasil belajar IPA This research was aimed to know the differences of the result of studying science between students who got Reciprocal Teaching learning model and the students who got the conventional teaching learning model for grade V semester I at SD Negeri 1 Tulamben, Kubu Sub-district, in academic year 2013/2014. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this research was 54 students of grade V semester I at SD Negeri 1 Tulamben, Kubu Sub-district. The sample of this research was 27 students from class VA and 27 students from class VB of grade V semester I at SD Negeri 1 Tulamben, Kubu Sub-district. The data was collected by using objective test instrument and was being analyzed by using the analysis of Descriptive Statistic and Inferential Statistic Test (t-test). This research showed that there was a significant between students who got Reciprocal Teaching learning model and the students who got the conventional teaching learning model. It was seen from the average score of experimental group which was 84.94. It was higher than the average of control group which was 68.38. It can be concluded that the implementation of Reciprocal Teaching learning model influenced the result of studying science for grade V semester I at SD Negeri 1 Tulamben, Kubu Sub-district, in academic year 2013/2014.keyword : Reciprocal Teaching learning model, the result of studying science.

Abstract

Mempelajari ilmu kimia tidak saja diarahkan sebagai upaya untuk menyokong kehidupan manusia secara bendawi, tetapi juga mengenal Tuhan Sang Pencipta dengan segala keagungan dan kebesaranNya. Sehingga sangatlah tepat bila dalam pengajaran konsep-konsep kimia di sekolah diperlukan suatu integrasi nilai-nilai luhur ajaran agama. Hal ini guna meningkatkan keimanan dan ketakwaan siswa terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Salah satu konsep kimia yang sangat abstrak bagi siswa kelas X SMA adalah konsep struktur atom. Guna memberikan keyakinan bahwa atom itu benar-benar ada sama seperti keyakinan kita terhadap adanya Tuhan, maka dilakukan integrasi ajaran Widhi Sraddha dalam pembelajaran struktur atom. Melalui integrasi ini, maka siswa dapat memahami bahwa pengetahuan tidak hanya dapat diperoleh melalui pengamatan (Pratyaksa Premana), tetapi dapat juga melalui logika atau pemikiran logis (Anumana Premana) dan dari keyakinan terhadap hasil-hasil penyelidikan para pakar terdahulu yang telah dituangkan dalam buku-buku (Agama Premana). Integrasi ajaran Widhi Sraddha dalam pembelajaran konsep struktur atom, dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran : (a) Perspektif konsep struktur atom kepada siswa; (b) Menyampaikan analogi-analogi yang dibahas dengan ajaran Widhi Sarddha yaitu dengan Agama Premana dan Anumana Premana.

Abstract

Latihan fisik dapat menyebabkan berbagai perubahan fungsi tubuh diantaranya adalah peningkatan terhadap suhu tubuh. Peningkatan suhu tubuh ini disebabkan karena sebagian besar energi saat aktivitas diubah menjadi panas. Panas yang dihasilkan itu harus segera dikeluarkan agar homeostasis tubuh berjalan dengan baik. Kecepatan pengeluaran panas tubuh tergantung dari faktor lingkungan, diantaranya adalah suhu dan kelembaban relatif udara. Semakin meningkat kelembaban udara, semakin meningkat pula suhu tubuh saat latihan dan sebaliknya semakin menurun kelembaban relatif udara maka suhu tubuh akan semakin menurun. Perubahan suhu tubuh ini tidak terus menurun, akan tetapi diatur oleh sistem saraf. Peningkatan panas tubuh berkelanjutan dapat disebabkan karena latihan fisik berkelanpanjangan dalam waktu yang lama yang dilakukan dalam ruangan dengan kelembaban yang tinggi. Peningkatan sehu tubuh ini dapat disebabkan karena menurunnya cairan tubuh akibat dari pengeluaran keringat berlebih. Untuk menanggulangi penurunan cairan tubuh maka perlu mengkonsumsi cairan yang sesuai dengan cairan yang keluar. Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk menguraikan efek dari latihan fisik terhadap perubahan suhu tubuh.

Abstract

Background: Age of hope hudup Indonesian population is increasing. The increase is due to a balanced pattern of consumption and physical activity. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of consumption patterns and physical activity on nutritional status in the elderly. Method: This research is an analytic study that describes the relationship between independent variables with dependent variables using linear regression analysis berbanda. The study was conducted on 64 elderly Social Home Tresna Werdha Jara Mara Pati Buleleng District, Bali. Begin by interviewing respondents, then asked respondents to fill out questionnaires. Further measurement of body mass index (BMI). Results: There was a partial and positive relationship between consumption pattern and nutritional status with r = 0,761 and p = 0.000. There was a partial and positive relationship between physical activity and nutritional status with r = 0.262 and p = 0.000. In addition, there was also a simultaneous relationship between consumption patterns and physical activity on nutritional status of 91.5% with a value of R = 0.958. Conclusion: Partial and simultaneous relationship exists between consumption patterns and physical activity on nutritional status. Suggestion: For that it is expected in the elderly to always maintain the pattern of consumption and physical activity regularly in order to improve nutritional status.

Abstract

Loloh sembung (Blumea balsamifera) is a functional drink that is widely consumed by Balinesse people and exhibit health-promoting effect. The purpose of this study was to identify GABA of loloh sembung which has physiological effect as antihypertensive. Proximate analysis was performed to determine nutritional value content of loloh sembung. Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric (AAS) method was employed to determine potassium and sodium content, and identificatio of ɤ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) method. In this study, water content of loloh sembung was 99.2324%, ash 0.0117. Fresh sembung leaves have water content 83.8112%, ash content 2.0617%, protein 0.9659%, fat 2.850%, and carbohydrate 10.3109%. Loloh sembung contained sodium, 51.65 mg/L and potassium 1353.10 mg/L. Subsequently, fresh sembung leaves contained sodium 579.72 mg/L and pottasium 1353.19 mg/L respectively. In this study, GABA was detected in loloh sembung and has promising prospect as antihypertensive-functional drink.

Abstract

This research was aimed to improve the learning activity and the students` achievement of science in the class IX-J SMPN 1 Abang in the odd semester in 2017/2018 through the implementation of the jigsaw IV cooperative learning methiode assisted self test. The hypothesis of action in this research are: (1) The implementation of jigsaw IV cooperative learning method assisted self test, can improve the achievement of students of IX-J in science in SMPN 1 Abang in the odd semester in 20017/2018. (2) The implementation of jigsaw IV cooperative learning method assisted by self test, can improve the learning activity of students of IX-J in science in SMPN 1 Abang in the odd semester in 20017/2018. This research employed classroom action research was coucted in SMPN 1 Abang. The subjects of this research were the students of IXJ in the odd semester in 2017/2018. They were 33 students with consist of 17 boys and 16 girls. This was ddesigned in three cycles of PTK Kemmis and McTaggart models. The findings shows that (1) The implementation of jigsaw IV cooperative learning method assisted by self test can improve the achiemvement of the students of IX-J SMPN 1 Abang in the odd semester in 20017/2018. (2) The implementation of jigsaw IV cooperative learning method assisted by self test can improve the leatrninga ctivity of the students of IX-J SMPN 1 Abang in the odd semester in 20017/2018.
