Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya kerja terhadap kinerja guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya kerja baik secara parsial mapun secara bersamaan berpengaruh positif dan dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian kepala sekolah perlu menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya begitu juga dengan guru agar kualitas pendidikan semakin meningkat. Selain itu, guru harus dapat membiasakan hal-hal yang positif seperti disiplin, berakhlak mulia, dan lainnya.

Abstract

The field of education in the colonial era is often studied in the context of the implementation of the Ethical Policy, one of which is based on the speech of Queen Wilhelmina in 1901 which emphasized that the Netherlands is a Christian country and is committed to helping the mission of that religion. This research attempts to answer the formulation of questions about political policies in Christian education management prior to the Ethical Politics period. The methodology used is a historical research type by going through literature searches, evaluating, verifying, and synthesizing evidence from the data collected. The results of this study indicate that education management policies have been pursued by the Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie (VOC) since the early 17th century, where due to the influence of religious wars, this trading partnership also tried to replace Portuguese domination and Catholicism in Indonesia. The form of education in that era was still simple to teach obedience and religious rituals in individual teaching without class levels. Apart from a shortage of experienced educators, Dutch language was less popular than Portuguese and Malay. After the company collapsed in 1799, the Dutch government was neutral towards religious affairs since 1808. This caused many "Zending" (Protestant Evangelism) bodies to spread religion as well as establish a number of educational institutions as happened in Minahasa (since the 1830s) and in Batak lands (since the 1860s).

Abstract

This research is based on the charismatic spirit, Buya Husni Thamrin's philosophy in leading or managing the Qodratullah Islamic boarding school in Langkan Village can develop rapidly and develop as it is today. The Islamic boarding school under the leadership of Buya Husni Thamrin has experienced extraordinary innovations that are worthy of being used as a model like other Islamic boarding schools in Banyuasin, therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the extent of Buya Husni Thamrin's charismatic influence or role in leading and developing the Qodratullah Islamic boarding school in Langkan Village. This research is a type of field research. The research method is a qualitative method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. From the overall results of the study, it shows that Buya KH. M. Husni Thamrin Madani is a pesantren leader who distinguishes himself from kyai in general through a unique combination of traditional kyai charisma with visionary, innovative, dynamic, and adaptive nature. While charisma allows him to lead with conviction and assertiveness, what sets him apart is his visionary ability to look ahead, be innovative in implementing modern educational programs, be dynamic in adapting to changing times, and be adaptive to the surrounding environment. The novelty in this study is that Islamic boarding schools in Banyuasin Regency must innovate and transform as carried out by Buya Husni Thamrin that Islamic boarding schools must keep up with the times. By combining traditional values with modern thinking, Buya Husni Thamrin Madani is able to lead the pesantren in a more progressive way, advance religious education, and meet the needs of the community in facing the challenges of the times.

Abstract

The descendants of the Prophet Muhammad or commonly called the "Ahlul Bait" of the Prophet are a group that is respected in Islamic traditions across schools of thought. There are many legacies of scientific thought and exemplary that can be guided by the Ahlul Bait through a number of central figures, namely Ali bin Abi Talib RA and his descendants. This paper seeks to reveal their noble legacy as an inspiration for the field of leadership in Education Management. The method used is of a qualitative type, namely library research with an analytical emphasis to present descriptive data. This research proves that the nobility of Ahlul Bait Nabi can inspire education managers. The Karbala incident taught a manager the importance of understanding the consequences of the position he holds. Education Management also requires a leader who is able to manage the organization and be careful in choosing individuals who are responsible for a position, these two things can be guided by the text of Ali's letter to the Governor of Egypt he appointed, Malik Al-Asytar. In addition to managerial abilities, a leader must not ignore the virtue of being gentle and fair, such as in giving appreciation and appreciation to the achievements of subordinates, this is exemplified by Ali Zainal Abidin and Musa Al-Kadzhim through the story of the liberation of religious slaves and repentance his sins. Ali RA also emphasized that leaders carry out periodic assessments of their subordinates.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Strategi Pengembangan Kompetensi Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Sekolah Dasar  di Kecamatan Ilir Barat I Kota Palembang.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kualitas dari kemampuan guru PAI sekolah dasar dalam mengembangkan potensinya. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan cara menggali makna dibalik teks yang didapat melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Lokasi dan fokus penelitian ada di SD Negeri, 26, 27 dan 28 di Kecamatan Ilir Barat I Palembang.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaDari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan secara keseluruhan kompetensi guru PAI yang ada di SD Negeri 26, 27, 28 masih belum maksimal dan perlu ada pengembangan yang lebih lanjut dan komprehensif. Beberapa problem yang dihadapi guru PAI yang menyebabkan lemahnya kompetensi guru PAI yaitu minimnya jam mengajar, kemudian pola pembelajaran PAI yang masih menggunakan pola lama yang menakutkan bagi siswa dengan hafalan dan praktek materi yang di ajarkan, kemudian dari sisi lain guru tidak menempatkan guru PAI sebagai contoh atau teladan dan memiliki brand imej yang menyenangkan bagi siswa, hal ini tentu kemampuan guru PAI perlu dikembangkan dan ditingkatkan lagi, khsusunya dalam pengembangan karakter guru dan membangun imej guru PAI sebagai guru yang menyenangkan, maka pengembangan kompetensi individu perlu lebih dikembangkan. Adapun strategi atau cara yang diupayakan pihak Lembaga untuk mengembangkan SDM guru yaitu dengan memfasilitasi para guru untuk ikut kegiatan workshop, pelatihan, diklat dan pengembangan diri, sehingga standar kompetensi tenaga pendidik dari pedagogig, professional, kepribadian dan sosial bisa lebih dikembangkan.
