Abstract

The Four components of Public Health that serve as supporting factors are Enviroment, Behavior,Health services, Genetics or Heriditary. Human health as well as public health can be influenced byenvironmental factors. (Hiswari, 2003). There are 75 houses categorized as having poor sanitation locatedin the area os Gantrung clinic, Kebonsari village. The aims of this research included the need to describepeople's working Knowledge, Attitudes, Actions as well as community behavior relating to ODF (OpenOefication Free).This descriptive research relied upon descriptive survey approach. Data gathering was carried outby interviews using questionnaire. The total of population in this research consisted of 75 householdsrepresented by respondents.The result of responden interviews indicated that community behavior regarding ODF can bedescribed as follow, 64% of their working knowledge can be categorized as adequate, 49.3% of theirattitude was categori:zedas adequate, 72% of their actions were categorized as adequate, and 64% ofcommunity behavior were categorized as adequate.It can be concluded that in terms of community knowledge, attitude, action, and behaviorallevels, it was categorized as adequate. Residents of Kebonsarivillage should make some changes on theirbehaviors, this is better than elucidation, and a need was identified to improve working knowledgespecially on diseases, hazzard, and effect from ODF. In this casethe action should be helped by Gantrungclinic and the local government.

Abstract

ater treatment props used in the learning process is intended to clarify the material presented lectures more interesting and easier to understand. How much influence the process of learning to use and not use props is a water treatment in this study.Analytical study of the design of one group pretest-posttest conducted with a sample of Environmental Health Prodi third semester students during the academic year 2014/2015 in themonth of September until November 2014. Students of 51 people divided into two groups A and group B were based on the averagevalue of the first semester GPA (a) and II (two) are intended to have the same ability level andevenly. Group learning process does not use props and group B with the use of props watertreatment. The results of students' pre-test group A and B do not pass the value of the gain and thehighest and lowest 50 20. While the results of a group of students posttest score average of 67.3, the lowest and highest value of 60.7 79.3. The student group B average value 78.3, the lowest value of 70, and the highest 84.7. There are significant differences utilize the learning process and not use props.The above data indicate that the level of understanding of the students in the lecture using props are better than without props. Konfrehensif cognitive abilities and effective student group Bwas also better. Props water treatment also allows professors to teach and improve communication skills for students. Thus, each subject-oriented knowledge and skills needed innovation of scienceand technology major props adequate.

Abstract

The research was carried out in April to July 1996 in the coastal area of Semarang in order to evaluate the effect of calcium and potassium fertilizer to plant growth and production of setaria grass and to observe sodium toxicity on the grass. The experiment was arranged in two factor split-plot design with three replication. The main factor was the application of CaCO3 which was divided into three levels : 0, 4 and 8 ton CaCO3/ha and the sub factor was the application of KCl which was divided into three levels: 0, 40 and 80 kg K2o/ha. Eight parameters were observed in this experiment : Total Dissolved Salts (TDS), Soil Electrical Conductivity (ECe), level of death plant, plant height, leaves numbers, fresh yield, dry yield and protein content. The result show that the application of CaCO3 and KCl created inverse effect to Total Dissolve Salts (TDS) and Soil Electrical Conductivity (ECe). On one hand, CaCO3 decrease TDS and ECe and on the other hand. KCl increase TDS and ECe. There were interactions between CaCO3 and Kcl in influencing TDS and ECe. However, CaCO3 and KCl brought about similar effect to plant performance. Both CaCO3 and KCl decreased the level of died plant and increased plant height, leaves number, fresh yield, dry yield an protein content of setaria grass. CaCO3 and KCl did not interact each other in increasing plant performance. The application of CaCO3 increased plant height significantly at week 3, week 4 and week 5, and increased dry yield and protein content significantly, but not increase fresh yield significantly. It is also clear that no one management strategy will ensure that Indonesia’s significant  coral reef and other marine are conserved and used in sustainable fashion. Rather, a judicious    blend of the use of economic instruments and concepts, regulation, education, and “site-hardening” (e.g. by use mooring) is required to ensure that marine tourism is sustainable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif melalui pendekatan survey. Pengumpulan datadilakukan dengan wawancara dengan panduan kuesioner. Sebagai populasi adalah masyarakat diDesa Bogem Kecamatan Sukomoro Kabupaten Magetan, dengan target populasi 92, semuanyadijadikan subyek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara menggunakan kuesioner,yang hasilnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hampir setengahnyamasyarakat di Desa Bogem Kecamatan Sukomoro Magetan yang buang air besar di sembarangtempat. Dan bahwa perilaku masyarakat dalam Buang Air Besar sebagian besar kurang memenuhisyarat kesehatan. Disarankan agar masyarakat desa Bogem Kecamatan Sukomoro KabupatenMagetan mengubah perilaku mereka menjadi lebih baik terkait dengan Buang Air BesarSembarangan, serta kepada petugas kesehatan perlu memberikan penyuluhan tentang bahayaatau akibat yang akan terjadi kalau masyarakat buang air besar di sembarang tempat, supaya DesaBogem masuk dalam kategori Desa Open Defecation Free (ODF) atau seluruh masyarakat BuangAir Besar di Jamban. Abstract

Rumah Sakit sebagai saran pelayanan kesehatan untuk umum, yaitu tempatberkumpulnya orang sakit maupun orang sehat, yang dimungkinkan dapat menyebabkan terjadinyapencemaran lingkungan dan gangguan kesehatan. Bahan buangan yang dihasilkan oleh rumahsakit khususnya sampah medis yang pengelolaanya kurang memenuhi syarat kesehatan dan tidakdikelola dengan benar sesuai dengan pedoman pengelolaan sampah medis, dapat menjadi matarantai penyebaran penyakit menular yakni Infeksi Nosokomial. Berdasarkan hal ini maka dipandangperlu diteliti guna diketahuinya upaya pengelolaan sampah medis yang telah dilaksanakan diRumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Madiun. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Daridata observasi diperoleh data jumlah timbulan sampah medis seluruh ruangan di RSUD Kota Madiun dari tanggal 6 s/d 11 Juli 2011adalah 179,5 kg, dengan rata-rata setiap hari adalah 29,9kg/hari. Pada tahap pengeloaan sampah medis yaitu pada proses penampungan masih tergolongbaik, demikian pula proses pengangkutan tergolong baik, proses pemusnahan juga sudah baik,sedangkan untukt tenaga pengelolanya termasuk katagori cukup.  Secara umum upayapengelolaan sampah medis di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Madiun hampir seluruhnya sudahtermasuk baik., meskipun masih ada sebagian kecil yang kurang baik. Sehingga disarankan untukbeberapa hal yang telah sesuai dengan ketentuan agar tetap dipertahankan, sedangkan  untukbeberapa hal yang belum ada maupun belum sesuai ketentuan, agar disediakan dan lebih ditingkatkanlagi. Abstract

Waste management in Magetan Regency still uses a conventional system. Meanwhile, the amount of generated waste transported to the landfill will continue to increase along with the population growth and cause the landfill land to decrease. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential ecobricks as a solution in reducing the generation of plastic waste in Kepolorejo Urban Village, Magetan Sub district, Magetan Regency.  Sampling was carried out in accordance with SNI 19-3694-1994 at each hamlet in Kepolorejo Urban Village. Based on the results of sampling conducted on 33 families or 98 people spread across 12 hamlet in Kepolorejo Urban Village, the total waste generation generated in Kepolorejo Urban Village is 253.4 kg. the total plastic waste generation in Kepolorejo Urban Village is 18.8 kg consisting of plastic waste that can be used as ecobrick raw material, which is 11.9 kg/day and plastic waste that cannot be used as ecobrick raw material, which 6.9 kg. the value of the potential for ecobrick in reducing the generation waste in Kepolorejo is 4.6%. the number of ecobrick that can be produced in 1 year is 99.631.

Abstract

AbstrakPusat Inovasi adalah satuan kerja di Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan  yang mempunyai tugas untuk mengelola kegiatan Science Techno Park. Pengelolaan Science Techno Park di Pusat Inovasi pada umumnya memberikan penekanan pada pemberian layanan alih teknologi dari lembaga litbang maupun universitas kepada industri maupun perusahaan start up. Karena pentingnya proses layanan Science Techno Park tersebut diperlukannya sebuah sistem informasi dokumentasi dari kegiatan tersebut.  Karena selama ini proses dokumentasi mengalami beberapa kesulitan yaitu sulitnya mendapatkan laporan, foto dan informasi lain dari kegiatan karena peneliti yang tersebar di masing-masing satuan kerja maupun lembaga litbang. Dengan adanya hambatan tersebut maka pengelola Science Techno Park mengalami kendala untuk mendapatkan informasi yang berupa laporan, foto maupun detail kegiatan dari peneliti. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membagun sebuah sistem informasi dokumentasi kegiatan Science Techo Park berbasis web agar mempermudah pengelola untuk mendapatkan laporan maupun informasi lain dari kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem adalah metode waterfall yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain, koding, pengujian dan pemeliharaan. Sedangkan pada proses pengujian menggunakan metode blackbox dan perbandingan efisiensi waktu antara sistem manual dengan sistem berbasis web. Pada pengujian didapatkan hasil bahwa dengan metode blackbox sistem dapat berjalan sesuai modul yang direncanakan pada use case yaitu dengan melakukan inputan data ke masing-masing modul. Sedangkan pada pengujian efisiensi waktu diperoleh hasil bahwa sistem berbasis web lebih efisien karena memiliki waktu yang lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan sistem manual.Kata Kunci: science techno park, dokumentasi, sistem informasiAbstractCenter for innovation is the unit at the Indoensian Institute of Sciences which has the task to manage Science Techno Park. Management Science Techno Park in Center fo Innovation focused to provide the service of techbology transfer from research institutions and universisty to industry or start up company. Management process of science techno park is very important, so it needs the information system for documentation. Because during the documentation process encountered some difficulties, The problems in the documentation process of STP is difficult to obtain documents, photos, and the progress of the researcher because researchers scattered in their respective work units or R & D institutions . Given these constraints, the manager of Science Techno Park have problems to get information in the form of reports, photos and details of activities of researchers. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design and build their information system documentation of Science Techno Park  to facilitate the management to obtain reports and other information of activities. The method used in the development of the system is the waterfall method which includes requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. While in the testing process using blackbox and time efficiency comparison between a manual system with a web-based system.On blackbox testing showed that the system will be implemented as planned modules in use case. And on the test result that the time efficiency of web-based system is more efficient because it has a faster time than the manual system.Keywords: science techno park, documentation, information system
