Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of credit interest rates, inflation, and bank size on market performance, with Return on Assets (ROA) as a moderating variable. The study uses a sample of 93 conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2023. Data were analyzed using multiple regression methods with a quantitative approach. The results indicate that credit interest rates and inflation have a negative and significant effect on market performance, while bank size has a positive and significant effect. ROA moderates the relationship between bank size and market performance but does not significantly moderate the effects of credit interest rates and inflation on market performance. This study provides insights for stakeholders in understanding macroeconomic factors that influence banking stability in Indonesia.

Abstract

The success of college graduates in a career is determined by the accuracy in choosing studies in college. Determination of study programs in college will be made by high school graduates when continuing their studies in college. Third grade high school students need to have adequate knowledge and information about the higher education system and their potential through brain color test before deciding to choose a college and study program. The PKM activity was carried out to equip 3rd grade students of SMAN 78 West Jakarta in the 2015/2016 academic year as partners. From the PKM activities carried out, partners are more interested in operational knowledge and information about universities, faculties, departments, study programs, accreditation, campus activities, tuition fees, scholarships, and graduate careers. The brain color of students is quite evenly distributed between students with type A (yellow), B (green), C (blue), and D (orange). Without classifying students based on their majors or gender, it turns out that the highest mind color is for type A (yellow) and the lowest is type D (orange), although the difference is not too large. However, there is a difference in the most types of mind color between science and social studies students. For science students, more are type A (yellow), while social studies students are type B (green). Male students' mind color is more type C (blue), while female students are type A (yellow).

Abstract

This study aims to examine how knowledge management and organizational commitment shape employee performance in higher education, while positioning organizational innovation as a contested mechanism within Resource-Based and Knowledge-Based frameworks. It advances a novel contribution by demonstrating that the strategic value of intangible assets does not necessarily operate through innovation, thereby challenging dominant linear assumptions in organizational theory. Using data from 200 respondents in higher education institutions in West Jakarta, the findings reveal that knowledge management and organizational commitment exert strong direct effects on both innovation and employee performance, while innovation fails to mediate these relationships. This asymmetry indicates that performance is more structurally driven by knowledge integration and organizational attachment than by formal innovation processes, particularly within bureaucratic academic systems. The implication is clear: university leaders must prioritize strengthening knowledge systems and organizational commitment as primary drivers of sustainable performance.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of banking financial performance as an indicator of the success of the intermediation function and the stability of the financial sector, particularly in the context of the Indonesian banking industry, which faces dynamic competition, risk management challenges, and increasing efficiency demands. This research aims to analyze the effect of the Loan-to-Deposit Ratio, Asset-to-Equity Ratio, Total Deposits-to-Total Assets Ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio, and Asset Growth Ratio on Return on Assets, as well as to examine the role of Bank Size as a moderating variable in these relationships. This study employs a quantitative approach. The data used are secondary data obtained from the financial statements of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and publications issued by the Financial Services Authority during the research period, which were then analyzed using panel data regression and moderated regression analysis. The results show that, partially, the Loan-to-Deposit Ratio, Asset-to-Equity Ratio, Total Deposits-to-Total Assets Ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio, and Asset Growth Ratio do not have a significant effect on Return on Assets. In addition, Bank Size has not been proven to significantly moderate the relationship between all independent variables and Return on Assets. Nevertheless, the research model simultaneously indicates that the variables examined are related to bank profitability. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that banking profitability is not solely determined by internal financial ratios and bank size but is also influenced by other factors outside the research model.
