Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the direct effect of social capital factors and organizational cultureon the performance of medical personnel in hospitals Talaud Islands. The population in thisstudy is the Civil Servants (PNS) in Talaud Islands who served in hospitals Talaud Islands.Sampling technique in this study is proportional sampling with a sample size of 100 people.In the data analysis using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), using AMOS program(Analysis of Moment Structure) 20. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is a multivariateanalysis technique that was developed to cover the limitations that are owned by the previousanalytical models that have been widely used in statistical research. Stuctural equation model(SEM) can be seen as a combination of factor analysis, path analysis, and regression. Theresults indicate that (1) Social Capital and significant positive effect on the performance ofmedical personnel in hospitals Talaud Islands (2) Organizational culture positive andsignificant impact on the performance of medical personnel in hospitals Talaud Islands.Keywords : Social capital, Organization Culture, Performance

Abstract

Pelabuhan memainkan peran krusial pada rantai pasokan (supply chain) pada gerbang logistik daerah maupun nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan upaya perusahaan melakukan inovasi model bisnis kanvas yang efektif bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian rancangan strategik. Lokasi atau tempat penelitian di PT Nusantara Terminal Services.. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Setelah semua data terkumpul dan diolah kemudian dilakukan analisis data. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal, TOWS analysis, QSPM, Business Model Canvas dan Blue Ocean Strategy.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal menghasilkan alternatif strategi Strength-Opportunity sebagai strategi menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada. Analisis QSPM menunjukkan hasil bahwa alternatif strategi fokus dalam pengelolaan agar dapat meningkatkan pendapatan bagi perseroan dan lebih efesien serta efektif dalam pemanfaatan dan penggunaan biaya operasional memiliki skor lebih tinggi dibandingkan alternatif strategi lainnya. Inovasi model bisnis perusahaan menghasilkan strategi yang berorientasi pada kualitas layanan, kompetensi sumber daya manusia, serta menunjang pencapaian jangka panjang perusahaan dengan lebih terukur. Hasil penelitian ini juga menjelaskan bahwa new proposed strategy memiliki kelayakan sebagai blue ocean strategy dengan tetap berfokus dan mengimplementasikan proposed strategy serta mengupayakan terciptanya nilai tambah (value added) yang tidak dimiliki perusahaan pesaing.

Abstract

Currently the development of banking services is growing so rapidly because banking is one part of financial institutions that play a very important role for the smooth economic activities of a country. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Service Quality, Commitment, and Customer Confidence Against Customer Satisfaction And Loyalty At PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Makassar Area Raya. The type of research used in this study is quantitative approach. The quantitative approach bases the study of empirical rational principles. The quantitative approach bases the study of empirical rational principles. Therefore, before doing research the researcher must find the problem and hypothesis to be tested based on the criteria specified and the analytical tool used is Smart PLS 2.0. The results showed that partially, the quality of service, commitment, and customer confidence have a positive and significant impact on satisfaction. Furthermore, service quality variables, commitment, customer trust and satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The indirect effect indicates that satisfaction can mediate the influence of service quality, commitment, and trust of customer to customer loyalty of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Makassar Area Raya positively and significantly.

Abstract

In 2016, when nickel prices were in a low position throughout history, PT Vale not only managed to achieve strong performance but also succeeded in laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth in the future. This study aims to evaluate management strategies in controlling financial performance that occurred at PT. Vale Indonesia, Tbk and to provide enlightenment and suggestions as an evaluation material for companies in taking more measurable, more effective and efficient strategic measures to be more sustainable and remain competitive. This research is based on qualitative approach. The theoretical framework is obtained through articles, literature and case studies relevant to the research. Empirical information is gained through experience experienced by the researcher, interaction, formal and non-formal communication, and observation. The results of this study indicate that the evaluation and testing of PT Vale strategy using SWOT analysis and TOWS matrix has been done correctly with the proven that internal factors in PT Vale have a very strong influence on the decisions and strategic steps taken by the company. In this study, evaluation of strategic decisions determined by firms is evaluated through QSPM analysis. The evaluation conducted at PT Vale proves that QSPM can be a very precise strategic planning tool.

Abstract

The strategy of knowledge management becomes a primary vehicle for organizations achieve their goals, and to compete with good. The study aims to (1) find out the influence of the quality of learning on performance of employees of PT. Bank Sulselbar. (2) know the influence of the knowledge management process on performance of employees of PT. Bank Sulselbar. (3) find out the influence of the knowledge-sharing process on performance of employees of PT. Bank Sulselbar. (4) find out the influence of innovation against the performance of the employees of PT. Bank Sulselbar. (5) find out the influence of the quality of learning against competing superiority of PT. Bank Sulselbar. (6) know how the process of management of knowledge against the competitive advantage of PT. Bank Sulselbar. (7) find out the influence of the knowledge-sharing process against competing superiority of PT. Bank Sulselbar. (8) Knowing the influence of innovation against competing superiority of PT. Bank Sulselbar. (9) find out the influence of competitive advantage against the performance of the employees of PT. Bank Sulselbar. In this study researchers using experimental research using appropriate research methods and emphasis on the analysis of data in the form of the ordinal numbers are processed with statistical methods. Data collection methods used in this research is a Library Research, and Feel research. The technique of analysis used in this study is to test the validity, reliability testing, descriptive analysis, and path analysis. The results of this study suggest that (1) the quality of learning significant effect on performance of employees. (2) knowledge management processes significant effect on performance of employees. (3) the process of knowledge sharing effect significantly to the performance of the employee. (4) Innovation has no effect on performance of employees. (5) the quality of learning effect significantly to the competitive advantage of employees. (6) knowledge management processes significant competitive advantage against influential employees. Abstract

One form of decentralized and diverse populist economic activities is to increase SME development activities. This study aims to analyze how much influence (i) knowledge management and entrepreneurship aspects of SMEs performance; (ii) knowledge management and entrepreneurship aspects of SME performance through competitive advantage; and (iii) competitive advantage over SME performance. This study uses a quantitative approach that emphasizes the analysis of data. This research was conducted in Makassar City, with two months research period. This research data consists of primary data in the form of questionnaires, and secondary data in the form of reports or data of SMEs. The study population is small and medium enterprises in Makassar City. Sampling method is probability random sampling with simple random sampling technique that is random sampling proportionally for each sector of SME sector. Analysis technique used is path analysis to identify direct and indirect influence between variables. The results showed that the variable knowledge management and entrepreneurship aspects significantly influence the performance of SMEs. Knowledge management and entrepreneurship aspects have a significant effect on the performance of SMEs through competitive advantage. Competitive advantage significantly influences SME performance. All hypotheses in this study are accepted.

Abstract

The research aimed at investigating the direct or indirect effect of the retirement period perception on the work stress, work motivation, and employees’ performance approaching the retirement at Hasanuddin University. The research used the quantitative approach, in which the primary data were collected through the questionnaire from 86 respondents as the samples. The data obtained were analysed using he path analysis. The research result that the retirement period perception has the positive and significant effect on the work stress, work motivation, and employees’ performance. The work stress has the negative and significant on the employees’ performance and work motivation. Then, the work motivation has the positive and significant on the employees’ performance. The work stress in the research can mediate the negative and significant effect of the retirement period perception on the employees’ performance, whereas the work motivation can mediate the positive and significant effect of the retirement period perception. Moreover, the work motivation can also mediate the negative and significant effect of the work stress on the employees’ performance. Therefore, Hasanuddin University leadership needs to develop the employees’ positive perception on the retirement to reduce the work stress level and encourage the employees’ work motivation approaching the retirement through the training program for the retirement preparation period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Social Media Marketing on Brand Equity, the effect of Electronic Word of Mouth on Brand Equity, the influence of Brand Equity on Purchasing Decisions, the influence of Social Media Marketing and Brand, and the Electronic Word of Mouth. Purchase Decisions via Brand Equity as a variable. Intervention. This study uses a path analysis model. The sample in this study were 340 students of Briton English Education. The data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires. The results showed that the Social Media Marketing (X1), Electronic Word of Month (X2) variable had a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions (Z). This can be seen from the coefficient which is positive and the significance value is smaller than 0.05. The results also show that Social Media Marketing (X1), Electronic Word of Mouth (X2), and Brand Equity (Y) have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions (Z). This can be seen from the coefficient which is positive and the significance value is smaller than 0.05. In this study, it is also known that there is no mediating effect of the Brand Equity variable between the independent variables consisting of Social Media Marketing (X1) and Electronic Word of Mouth (X2) on the dependent variable of Purchase Decision (Z). This can be seen from the value of the indirect effect on the path coefficient which is smaller than the value of the direct effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the relationship between human resource competence and workload has on employee performance through organizational commitment. This type of research is quantitative research. The sample in this study used a saturated sample, namely all employees of the Parepare City Population Control and Family Planning Service, totaling 94 people consisting of various positions and jobs within the agency. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data is processed using SmartPLS 3. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that HR competence and workload had a positive effect on organizational commitment and employee performance. The organizational commitment has no effect on employee performance and HR competence and workload has no effect on employee performance through an organizational commitment within the employee scope of the Parepare City Population and Family Planning Agency

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of social media, customer experience and servicespae on revisit intention in marine tourism Akkarena Beach, Makassar. Research data was gathered via conducting interviews and disseminating questionnaires. The approach for sample selection was based on the Slovin formula, which resulted in a sample of 96 respondents who had frequented Akkarena Beach as a marine tourism destination and were active on social media platforms. The analysis technique used is Multiple Regression to prove the research hypothesis. The results show that the T test (partial) on the social media, customer experience and servicescape each have a positive and significant impact on revisit intention. By F test (silmultaneous) on social media, customer experience and servicescape variables have a positive and significant impact on revisit intention.
