Abstract

Limbah baglog jamur tiram merupakan media yang tersisa setelah badan buah jamur dipanen selama periode budidaya jamur. Limbah baglog jamur tiram sebagian besar terdiri dari selulosa, hemiselulosa, lignin, mineral dan juga sebagian kecil vitamin. Limbah baglog dapat digunakan sebagai media pertumbuhan pengganti tanah untuk tanaman Sambung Nyawa yang memiliki banyak manfaat baik untuk kesehatan ataupun sebagai bahan pangan alternatif. Tanaman Sambung Nyawa merupakan tanaman sayuran yang berkhasiat obat yang belum banyak dikenal oleh masyarakat kota Madiun. Sambung Nyawa (Gynura procumbens) memiliki khasiat seperti antikoagulan, mencairkan pembekuan darah, menghentikan pendarahan, menghilangkan panas, dan membersihkan racun dalam tubuh. Mitra kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah adalah ibu-ibu dari kelompok PKK RT 16/RW 05, Taman, Kota Madiun. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah ceramah, demonstrasi dan konsultasi. Kegiatan ini memberikan hasil berupa kemampuan masyarakat mitra dalam pembudidayaan tanaman Sambung Nyawa dengan menggunakan limbah baglog jamur tiram, pengolahan tanaman Sambung Nyawa menjadi ice cream dan campuran mie, serta pengetahuan mengenai nilai ekonomi yang bisa diperoleh ketika masyarakat memasarkannya dalam bentuk bahan pangan alternatif

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan : Kanker serviks menempati posisi kedua di Dunia yang dapat menyebabkan kematian sebesar 80% pada Negara berkembang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh pemberian booklet dan reminder pada penderita kanker serviks. Metode : Desain penelitian ini menggunakan One Group Pre Test and Post Test. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik parametrik (paired t-test). Hasil : Pada kelompok booklet diperoleh EQ5D indeks dengan nilai sig p­= 0,433 sedangkan VAS method dengan nilai sig p= 0,079 dan pada kelompok reminder diperoleh EQ5D indeks dengan nilai sig p= 0,027 sedangkan VAS method dengan nilai sig p= 0,013. Kesimpulan : Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada kelompok booklet dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kelompok reminder. Kata Kunci : Kualitas hidup, Kanker serviks, Booklet, Reminder

Abstract

Secondary metabolites produced by plants have been known to have a variety of biological activities including antioxidants that serve to ward off oxidant compounds and free radicals. The roots of merung (Coptosapelta tomentosa) has been known to have strong activity as an antioxidant while antioxidant activity in the stem is not yet known to date. This research aims to determine the secondary metabolites that have antioxidant activity on the root extracts and the stem of the vines qualitatively. The root extract and the stem of the merung plant are extracted with a methanol solvent using the maceration method. Antioxidant activity and identification of secondary metabolites are carried out qualitatively by the method of autography using the 2.2-Diphenyl-1-Picrylhydrazyl compound (DPPH) and some reagents of the secondary metabolite. Antioxidant activity of the merung root extract is on spot with RF 0.08 and 0.66. Spot with the RF 0.66 shows the brown color when reacted FeCl3, fluorescent yellow in UV rays 254 and 366 nm after reacted AlCl3 and red when reacted with KOH. The antioxidant activity of the merung stem extracts is at Rf 0.16, 0.33, 0.58, 0.66, and 0.75. Spot with the Rf 0.16 shows the color of brown when reacted FeCl3 and fluorescent blue in UV rays 254 and 366 nm after reacted AlCl3. Secondary metabolites that have antioxidant activity on root extracts and stems are suspected to be derivative phenolic compounds derived from flavonoid compounds.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Kersen (Muntingia calabura L.) is a plant that is usually useful as a shade tree on the side of the road, which is thought to have the potential with sunscreen activity. This study aim to determine sunscreen activity of the bark based on %Te, %Tp and SPF values ??in vitro. The extraction was done by maceration using methanol solvent, and then phytochemical screening by color reaction test that showed the presence of flavonoids, phenolics, tannins, saponins, and terpenoid. Sunscreen activity and SPF values ??were determined by measuring the absorbance of extracts with several variations of concentration, using spectrophotometer. The results showed the best concentration for the sunscreen category was 700 ppm. Based on the value of %Te and %Tp, including standard suntan and sunblock categories. While based on the SPF value >15 shows that methanol extract is included in the category of ultra protection.

Abstract

Avocado peel is contains chemical compound of alkaloid as antioxidant. So, has been research is to determine the antioxidant activity of ethanol extract avocado peel (Persea americana Mill.) inhibition of DPPH radical (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl). The extraction method used maceration with 96% ethanol solvent. The ethanol extract avocado peel with variant concentrations are 50 ppm, 75 ppm, 100 ppm, 125 ppm, 150 ppm and ascorbic acid standard as a positive control with variant concentrations are 2 ppm, 4 ppm, 6 ppm, 8 ppm, 10 ppm. Antioxidant activity inhibit DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) radical reduction was measured using Uv-Vis spectrophotometry. The results of antioxidant activity was obtained at IC50 (inhibition concentration) from the ethanol extract avocado is 137.34 ppm and ascorbic acid is 13.18 ppm. The results of ethanol extract avocado peel has moderate antioxidant activity.

Abstract

Kaffir Lime leaves (Citrus hystrix) often used for various treatments and also for cosmetics. One of the benefits of lime leaves in cosmetics is Sunscreen. The purpose of this study is to determine the activity of sunscreen and the category of sunscreen. The value %Te, %Tp, and Spf can be seen from the results of the calculation. The method is used by maceration. Then, the measurements using an UV spectrophotometer. At concentration of 100 ppm, 200 ppm, 300 ppm, 400 ppm and 500 ppm. At wavelengths of 292,5 - 372,5 nm for measurements of values % Te and % Tp. While for SPF values at wavelengths of 290 - 320 nm. The best results obtained were at concentration of 500 ppm, with a value of % Te 1,78 which is an extra protection category and the value of % Tp 1,27 which is the sunblock category, and the value of SPF 16 which is the ultra category.

Abstract

Inclusive education is an innovative approach to accommodate the learning needs of children with special needs. In the broader context, inclusive education can be interpreted as a step in education services in completing compulsory education for all Indonesians. This inclusive education provides insight and knowledge to the community to be able to facilitate the learning needs of children with special conditions. Inclusive education can be one of the efforts in creating educational programs for all walks of life, without being hindered by the conditions that the person has. This study aims to analyze the extent of the design of inclusive education that can be implemented in elementary schools in Garut Regency. The method used in this study is Literature Method. The results showed that there were quite a lot of children with special needs of elementary school age in the Garut Regency. Meanwhile, the distance to the Extraordinary School is quite far. This is because, the Garut area is divided into North Garut, Garut Kota, and South Garut. Not all sub-districts have Extraordinary Schools, even if there are only for certain types of Extraordinary Schools, so this Inclusive Education needs to be organized for the elementary school level in Garut Regency. Thus, the implementation of an Inclusive Education at the elementary school level in Garut Regency requires cooperation and careful design, starting from the preparation stage to the evaluation of education implementation. In addition, appropriate action is needed from various parties, starting from the school ecosystem, such as teachers, principals, supervisors, parents, and policymakers, including the Education Office in the Garut and West Java regencies.

Abstract

Salah satu perkerasan jalan yang sering digunakan di Indonesia yaitu Campuran Laston. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian terhadap karakteristik campuran Laston AC-WC dan AC-BC dengan memanfaatkan serat ijuk sebagai bahan tambah. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Jalan dan Aspal Fakultas Teknik Jurusan Sipil Universitas Kristen Indonesia Paulus Makassar, menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik bahan perkerasan dengan penambahan serat ijuk memenuhi spasifikasi sebagai bahan lapisan perkerasan jalan. Hasil uji Marshall diperoleh karakteristik campuran Laston AC-WC dengan kadar serat ijuk 2% mendapatkan Indeks Perendaman (IP) / Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) sebesar 94.04% dan Laston AC-BC dengan kadar serat ijuk 1% mendapatkan Indeks Perendaman (IP) / Indeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) sebesar 91,14%.

Abstract

The application of the Pancasila student profile can strengthen character and competency development, train problem-solving skills, and be responsible and concerned about issues around. This study aims to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum in developing the profile of Pancasila students in elementary schools. The research method used is the study of literature. Data collection with the keywords "independent curriculum" and "Pancasila student profile" through books and journals or articles from google scholar. The stages of research are carried out through: (1) reviewing the formulation of questions; (2) conduct literature reviews; (3) filter and select relevant literature; (4) analyze and synthesize the content of the appropriate literature; (5) control the quality of writing journal articles according to predetermined topics; and (6) present the results of the literature review. The results showed that IKM began to be implemented by elementary schools that were selected to become Driving Schools with the mandatory option of Mandiri Berbagi. The Merdeka Curriculum is devoted to developing the Pancasila Student Profile through intracurricular, co-curricular, extracurricular, and positive cultural activities in elementary schools. Elementary schools that have not yet become Driving Schools are given the option to implement the Independent Curriculum in accordance with school conditions. SMIs at the primary school level have so far been organized quite well and will be improved in the following year. So, this IKM will be implemented thoroughly in elementary schools in 2024.

Abstract

Penyelenggaraan KKN bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran terhadap berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi di masyarakat. Beberapa program telah direncanakan, salah satunya berupa pembagian bibit tanaman kepada masyarakat untuk membantu mereka memanfaatkan lahan di sekitar tempat tinggal mereka dan juga menciptakan penghijauan bagi lingkungan setempat. Kelurahan Prabumuli II merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang terletak di Kecamatan Muara Lakitan Kota Palembang. Desa Prabumulih II merupakan desa kecil dan mempunyai jumlah RT yang cukup sedikit yaitu 5 RT. RT 03 menjadi sasaran kegiatan pembagian benih ini karena diantara 5 RT yang ada di desa Prabumulih II, RT 03 sangat antusias dengan kegiatan pembagian benih tanaman tersebut. Cara yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan sosialisasi mengenai pembagian dan penanaman bibit tanaman kepada masyarakat di RT 03. Pendistribusian bibit tanaman kepada masyarakat menjadi fokus kegiatan ini, kurang lebih 100 bibit tanaman yaitu : bibit cabai (100).
