The sampling technique used is accidental sampling Results: Based on table 5.4 above, it was obtained that out of 45 respondents, there were 8 (17.8%) respondents who stated that the birth control program was beneficial but the population growth rate was rapid, and there were 25 (55.6%) respondents who stated that the birth control program was beneficial along with evidence that the population growth rate was lagging. While the respondents who stated that the KB program was not beneficial, there were 8 (17.8%) accompanied by a rapid population growth rate, and there were 4 (8.9%) respondents who stated that the KB program was not beneficial, but the population growth rate was delayed. Based on the results of Chi-Square statistical test, it was obtained that the ρ value of 0.009 means that there is a Relationship of KB Programs In Suppressing Population Growth Rate In Maginti Village Of Maginti District Of West Muna Regency In 2023 Conclusion : there is a Relationship between the KB Program in Suppressing the Population Growth Rate In Maginti Village of Maginti District of West Muna Regency in 2023

Abstract

The Marmet technique, which combines breast expression and massage, is designed to stimulate the breast milk ejection reflex. This method is believed to enhance the smooth flow of breast milk in postpartum mothers, but requires scientific validation. This study aimed to examine the effect of the Marmet technique on breastfeeding smoothness among postpartum mothers in the working area of the Watunohu Health Center, North Kolaka Regency. A quasi-experimental design with a two-group post-test only approach was employed. The study involved 32 postpartum mothers, divided into an intervention group (n=16) and a control group (n=16) through purposive sampling. The intervention group received the Marmet technique according to standard operating procedures (SOP), while the control group did not receive any treatment. Breastfeeding smoothness was assessed using a questionnaire covering eight indicators. Data were analyzed with the Mann-Whitney test, with a significance level set at p 0.05. On the fourth day postpartum, exclusive breastfeeding smoothness was achieved in 62.5% of mothers in the intervention group compared to only 18.8% in the control group. The Mann-Whitney test yielded a p-value of 0.017 (0.05), indicating a statistically significant effect of the Marmet technique. These findings demonstrate that the Marmet technique results in a significant increase in exclusive breastfeeding rates among postpartum mothers. It is recommended that healthcare providers in maternal and child health services adopt this technique as part of routine interventions to promote successful breastfeeding.

Abstract

One of the psychological problems experienced by many pregnant women is their anxiety about choosing a birth attendant. This study aimed to analyze the influence of anxiety levels and family support on the selection of birth attendants. This study used a quantitative observational design and a cross-sectional approach. This study was carried out from November to December 2021 at the Bontomarannu Community Health Center, Gowa Regency, with a sample size of 32 pregnant women. Purposive sampling was used. The results of the study using the chi-square test showed that the level of anxiety was p = 0.007 and family support was p = 0.003 <a = 0.05. twelve pregnant women received poor family support, four (33.3%) respondents were good, and eight (66.7%) pregnant women were not good at choosing birth attendants, of the 32 respondents, 22 were pregnant women with mild levels of anxiety, 15 (68.2%) were good at choosing birth attendants, and 7 (31.8%) were not good. This means that there is a relationship between the level of anxiety and family support, and the choice of birth attendant. It is hoped that pregnant women who are anxious about choosing a birth attendant will always receive more assistance, whether from the family or a midwife so that there is no prolonged anxiety. Midwives are advised that in carrying out any midwifery care, they can identify problems and take action quickly and precisely, especially in carrying out ANC examinations for patients who are preparing for childbirth

Abstract

Background: Gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa caused by irritation or infection and commonly affects young adults, including university students. Lifestyle changes, poor sleep quality, and anxiety are considered contributing factors to the incidence of gastritis among students. Objective: To determine the factors associated with the incidence of gastritis among students at Universitas Graha Edukasi Makassar in 2025. Methods: This study employed an analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 37 respondents were selected using simple random sampling from Nursing and Midwifery undergraduate students. The instruments included a gastritis questionnaire, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) to assess sleep quality, and the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) to measure anxiety levels. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. Results: The prevalence of gastritis was 62.2%. Respondents with good sleep quality accounted for 62.2%, while 37.8% had poor sleep quality. Anxiety levels were categorized as mild (16.2%), moderate (70.3%), and severe (13.5%). A significant relationship was found between sleep quality and gastritis incidence (p = 0.000 < 0.05). However, no significant relationship was found between anxiety and gastritis incidence (p = 0.778 > 0.05).
