Abstract

ABSTRAK Kampung Stamplat yang terletak di Desa Indragiri, Ciwidey, Bandung, Jawa Barat memiliki pesona alam yang luar biasa karena desa tersebut dikelilingi oleh area perkebunan teh, air terjun alami, dan topografi yang beragam. Sajian pesona alam tersebut dapat menjadi salah satu sumber perekonomian masyarakatnya yaitu dalam aspek pariwisata. Pada pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan ini, selain dilakukan pembuatan media digital untuk promosi, dilakukan juga pembenahan fasilitas yang dimiliki. Salah satu fasilitas yang wajib dimiliki untuk sebuah tempat agar dapat menjadi destinasi wisata adalah dengan adanya tempat penginapan untuk para wisatawan yang datang. Kondisi saat ini wisatawan yang datang akan menginap di rumah-rumah penduduk yang tentunya akan membuat wisatawan atau penduduk di sekitar merasa kurang nyaman. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka diusulkan untuk membangun sebuah rumah penginapan sederhana yang dikhususkan untuk para wisatawan. Rumah penginapan yang diinginkan adalah rumah yang tetap mempertahankan kearifan lokal, seperti berupa rumah panggung, menggunakan material utama kayu, dengan ukuran ruangan 5 x 6 m. Rancangan rumah penginapan tersebut tentunya harus dilengkapi juga dengan rancangan tata letak ruangan yang memperhatikan segi lingkungan fisik dan tata letak yang ergonomis. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dilakukan perancangan 4 alternatif tata letak ruangan rumah penginapan dengan berbagai keunggulannya masing-masing. Kata Kunci: Ergonomi, Lingkungan fisik, Rumah penginapan, Tata letak  ABSTRACT Stamplat Village, located in Indragiri Village, Ciwidey, Bandung, West Java, has an extraordinary natural charm because tea plantation areas, natural waterfalls, and diverse topography surround the village. Natural charm can be a source of the people's economy, namely in tourism. In community service that is carried out on an ongoing basis, in addition to making digital media for promotion, facilities are also being improved. One of the facilities that must be owned for a place to become a tourist destination is the existence of lodging places for tourists. The current condition of tourists who come will stay in people's homes, which will make tourists or residents around feel uncomfortable. Based on these problems, building a simple lodging house specifically for tourists is proposed. The desired lodging house is a house that still maintains local wisdom, such as a stage, the material used is wood, and the size available is 5 x 6 m. Of course, the design of the inn house must also be equipped with a room layout plan that considers the physical environment and ergonomic layout. Based on this, it is necessary to design 4 alternative room layouts for the inn with various advantages of each.  Keywords:  Ergonomics, Physical Environment, Lodging house, Layout

Abstract

Stamplat Village is one of the tourist villages that has a public kitchen. Currently, the public kitchen facilities are still inadequate, resulting in a few problems that affect the comfort and productivity of its users. Therefore, this research aims to improve the functionality of kitchen facilities by applying the design thinking method, starting from an in-depth understanding of the problems faced by users to the development of prototypes that can be implemented. The design thinking method was chosen as the main approach to ensure that the solutions produced not only fulfill the functional aspects but can also answer the needs and desires of users. At the beginning of the research, observation, and interview methods were used to collect data from users to understand in detail their difficulties, needs, and expectations regarding kitchen facilities. Observations showed the inconvenience in ingredient preparation, cooking, and washing activities caused by the lack of a worktop. The placement of the stove on the wooden floor caused the wood to be perforated due to the heat from the stove. In addition, the squatting position when washing also causes user discomfort. The lack of storage areas such as cupboards and shelves means that food and kitchen utensils are at risk of being infested by insects and rodents. Furthermore, creative ideas were identified to become design solutions by taking into account the principles of ergonomics. The result of the research is the design of public kitchen facilities consisting of cabinets, shelves, and workbenches.

Abstract

Di Dusun “X” terdapat salah satu kampung dengan jumlah pelajar tingkat SD dan SMP berkisar 14-20 orang. Sepulang sekolah, anak-anak ini sering melakukan kegiatan belajar bersama di bangunan serbaguna berukuran ± 4,8 x 3,6 m2. Bangunan ini juga sering digunakan untuk kegiatan lainnya seperti misalnya untuk kegiatan rapat, pertemuan, acara kebersamaan, dsb. Masalahnya ruangan ini belum memiliki fasilitas yang memadai baik dari segi bangunannya maupun fasilitas fisik yang ada di dalamnya. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, maka dilakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan mengusulkan sarana ruang belajar yang ergonomis. Metode yang digunakan untuk studi ergonomi adalah metode desain thinking yang mencakup 5 tahapan dengan perancangan fasilitas fisik berdasarkan data antropometri. Penggunaan data antropometri dalam perancangan disesuaikan dengan pengguna fasilitas yaitu kelompok usia 7-12 tahun dan 21-47 tahun. Dalam proses perancangan, dipertimbangkan juga atribut yang diinginkan terkait perancangan meja untuk belajar. Hasil penelitian ini adalah rancangan meja lipat dan kursi lipat yang multifungsi, layout ruang serbaguna, usulan penambahan rak sepatu, pembuatan undakan anak tangga, pelapisan dinding, pengecatan tirai, dan penambahan 4 buah lampu LED.Kata Kunci:  Desain Thinking, Antropometri, Ergonomi, Ruang Belajar

Abstract

In the process of learning, having good memory skills is crucial for students. Several factors can affect memory, one of which is an external factor, sound. Sound distraction can disrupt concentration, speed up the pulse rate, and cause sleepiness, but on the other hand, it can also eliminate sleepiness. This research aims to analyze the effect of type and intensity of sound on college students' short-term memory abilities, sleepiness level, and heart rate, analyze the relationship between these variables, and provide suggestions for a conducive learning environment. This research was conducted in a laboratory using Task Short-Term Memory, the Stanford Sleepiness Scale, and an oximeter. The data collected will be processed using ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Tests. The results indicated that the type of sound (preferred music and crowd noise) and sound intensity (±50 dB and ±70 dB) do not affect short-term memory ability, sleepiness level, and heart rate. Furthermore, sleepiness level has a negative correlation with heart rate. Based on the findings, the optimal learning environment suggested for college students is music with a preferred intensity of ±50 dB. In contrast, the worst learning environment is a crowded environment, such as a café.
