Abstract

Human resources have a close relationship with growth. The economy will improve when it has quality resources. Given the close relationship, the need for human resources must be adjusted to economic demands. The existence of the demands implies a workforce that is relevant to the world of work and meets the standards that have been set. This article aims to describe the concept of the need for human resources and economic doctrine from the point of view of the concept of HR, identification of the value of human resources, supply and demand for labor and labor characteristics, HR development efforts. The method used is qualitative with the type of library research. The conclusion of this article shows that in order for quality human resources, there must be developed according to the times, especially now that we are entering a new era known as the industrial revolution 4.0 where technology begins to dominate. The process of developing human resources can be done through education. Therefore, so that educational products can answer the challenges of changes that occur, it is necessary to redesign the educational system.

Abstract

Supervision is one of the important things that must be done in education. The important role of supervision that focuses on the principles and objectives in Islamic education is increasingly significant in the face of dynamic changes in the world of education that continues to grow. This study aims to examine what is meant by supervision and supervision and its principles in the context of Islamic education to the objectives of educational supervision. The method used in this research is using Literature Review study or literature review by using data collection techniques in the form of quotations from various sources, such as books, scientific journal articles. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis to detail and describe the relevant findings from the literature reviewed. The results show that the study of the principles of supervision in the context of education is as follows: (1) Scientific Principles, (2) Deliberative Principles, (3) Cooperative Principles, (4) Constructive Principles, (5) Principles of Responsibility, (6) Principles of Prudence in Decision Making. The targets of supervision and supervision in education are carried out in order to improve the quality of the learning process which includes: (1) Curriculum Development and Guidance, (2) Learning Improvement and Refinement, and, (3) Teacher and School Staff Resource Development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the lecturers’ ability to adapt to their work environment, which is vital for ensuring institutional effectiveness and the overall quality of higher education. This study investigates how lecturers’ commitment, performance, and job satisfaction influence their work adjustment. Employing a quantitative research design with a survey method, data were collected from a sample of university lecturers and analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS 25.0) to assess direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The results reveal several significant findings: commitment and performance each substantially directly affect work adjustment, both individually and jointly. Commitment and performance also significantly influence job satisfaction, both independently and simultaneously. Furthermore, job satisfaction has a strong direct impact on lecturers’ work adjustment. Commitment, performance, and job satisfaction together contribute significantly to work adjustment. The analysis also shows that commitment indirectly affects work adjustment through job satisfaction, while the indirect effect of performance through job satisfaction is not statistically significant. These findings emphasize the importance of fostering commitment and performance to enhance job satisfaction and facilitate work adjustment. Job satisfaction also mediates, reinforcing its strategic value in academic human resource development.
