Abstract

Background. Character is a pattern of thought and a pattern of one's actions that are carried out directly. According to Thomas Lickona, character education contains three main elements, namely knowing goodness, loving goodness, and doing goodness, meaning that character refers to a series of knowledge, attitudes, motivation, and behavior. Therefore, this character needs to be considered, especially for students Purpose. A student must have good character in his life from waking up to sleeping again. In this research, we will help develop good character for students, with the aim that it can be applied in their home environment. Method. This research is collaborative by involving students as resource persons and objects of action. Results. , This action is carried out as a form of field practice. Conclusion. From the results of our research it can be concluded that this research can be declared successful and can be applied by schools, but researchers cannot guarantee whether it can last long or not. Hopefully, habituation at school can be developed and practiced in the outside environment such as when at home, in the market, at the playground, and others

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan di MA Plus Al-UMM Smart Centre melalui peran kepala madrasah sebagai pemimpin dalam merumuskan visi, misi, dan implementasi standar pendidikan nasional. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menggambarkan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi mutu pendidikan, termasuk kurikulum, kualitas guru, serta sarana dan prasarana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah memainkan peran sentral dalam memastikan keberlangsungan proses pendidikan yang berkualitas melalui pengelolaan sumber daya yang terbatas, peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik, dan penyediaan fasilitas pembelajaran. Selain itu, tantangan utama seperti keterbatasan pembiayaan dan kurangnya dukungan orang tua siswa diatasi dengan pendekatan inovatif, seperti edukasi kepada orang tua dan optimalisasi program berbasis efisiensi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan yang visioner dan dukungan kolaboratif dari berbagai pihak untuk mencapai mutu pendidikan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The role of leadership in the management of Islamic educational institutions is very crucial to achieving the institution's vision and mission. Effective leaders not only act as directors, but also as inspirers and motivators for all staff and students. Good leadership is able to create a conducive environment for learning and teaching, as well as ensuring that Islamic values are integrated in all aspects of education. In addition, leaders must have strong managerial skills to manage resources efficiently, improve the quality of education, and overcome various challenges that may arise. Strong and visionary leadership is the key to the success of Islamic educational institutions. In this research we used qualitative research methods with valid data in the form of documentation. The conclusion of this research is that the principal is able to carry out his role well as the highest leader in the madrasah he leads.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the evaluation of the principal's performance in curriculum development at the UPT SMP Negeri 35 Medan school. In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative research method and the data obtained is from the results of interviews, observations and documentation at UPT SMP Negeri 35 Medan school. In curriculum development, school principals need to cooperate with other parties in evaluating curriculum development. Because the principal will not be able to carry out all his duties well by himself. Need good cooperation with other teachers and the government in handling funds in order to form a good and correct curriculum development. Which is where the curriculum is a very important and decisive component in organizing education. As well as the curriculum also functions as a tool for achieving educational goals, if educational goals change then automatically the curriculum must also be changed.
