Abstract

Dengan hasil tersebut diatas maka untuk menunjang dan mempertahankan Pelayanan lalu lintas penerbangan di Perum LPPNPI Cabang Kupang disarankan untuk mengoptimalkan sistem E-STRIP menjadi APP based, serta membuat Standard Operational Procedure (SOP).B.EnglishThis study aims to obtain an overview of whether there is a relationship between the Use of Electronic Flight Progress Strip (E-STRIP) on Air Traffic Services at the Perum LPPNPI Kupang Branch from March to August 2019. The method used is quantitative research methods. The population is ATC employees in the Aerodrome Control Tower sector, while the sample is 22 respondents. The study concluded that there is a positive relationship between the Use of Electronic Flight Progress Strip and Air Traffic Services with a determination coefficient of 53.1%, meaning that the effect of implementing the Electronic Flight Progress Strip on Air traffic Services is amounting to 53.1% and the remaining 46.9% is determined by other factors in this case not examined by the author. With the results above, to support and maintain the Air Traffic Services at the Perum LPPNPI Kupang Branch, it is recommended to optimize E-STRIP equipment by increasing the E-STRIP system to App based, as well as creating Standard Operational Procedures that regulate the E-STRIP system and guidelines

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the apron taxiway at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to the workload of ground control in the aerodrome control tower unit of Perum LPPNPI Denpasar Branch. The method used in this study is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study also used a questionnaire as supporting data to identify the workload of ground control. The data analysis technique used is gap analysis and in depth interviews followed by triangulation techniques to test the credibility of data. The conclusion of this study explain that current apron taxiway configuration has not been able to accommodate the existing traffic load because there are still many delays that occur due to the area being the point of conflict, so that it can increase the workload of ground control. With this result, to improve traffic flow in manoeuvring area and to reduce the workload of ground control, it is necessary to develop rapid exit taxiways that do not deal directly with parking stands and the establishment of clearance delivery units, thereby reducing the level of aircraft delays.

Abstract

In the aviation industry, radiotelephony is the primary communication tool between pilots and personnel involved in aircraft operations. According to the Director General of Civil Aviation Regulation Number KP 038 of 2017, personnel providing apron management services are required to have specific licenses, such as Air Traffic Controllers, Aeronautical Communication Officers (ACO), or Apron Movement Controllers (AMC), with additional skills in radiotelephony. However, the personnel at the Atang Sendjaja Air Force Base currently do not meet the radiotelephony competency requirements. To perform services according to national and international standards, the use of radiotelephony is essential. To address this need, a training program was conducted as part of a community service initiative, aimed at equipping personnel with radiotelephony skills in line with applicable regulations. This training includes both theoretical and practical sessions conducted on-site, utilizing table-top exercise simulation methods. The outcome of this training indicates that the personnel at the Atang Sendjaja Air Force Base have acquired adequate skills to implement radiotelephony in their daily operational activities.
