Abstract

The chassis is part of the vehicle and requires a strong structure and structure to withstand loads. This part also has the function of maintaining rigidity so that the vehicle does not bend. Damage that commonly appears in Chassis Crash Car X is cracks and corrosion. This study aims to analyze the presence of cracks and corrosion in the chassis of his ARFF crash car type 1 X vehicle at Juanda Surabaya International Airport. The researchers also examined the chassis of the ARFF crash car-analyzing another type of Type 1 vehicle, namely the ARFF crash car Type 1 Y and Z. This study uses qualitative research methods to determine the chassis characteristics of a Type 1 ARFF crash car in service at Juanda Surabaya International Airport. Data analysis using FEM using the Solidworks application determines the values of von Mises stress and chassis displacement versus load and uses calculations to determine the corrosion rate. From the analysis results, the von Mises stress value was close to the yield point value of the material used, the displacement value was the highest, and it had the shortest life. Apart from that, it can be concluded that one of the causes of cracking and corrosion is due to the use of double frames, thus the presence of air gaps as a cause of corrosion formation. Chassis merupakan salah satu bagian kendaraan yang harus memiliki susunan dan konstruksi kuat untuk menahan beban. Bagian ini juga memiliki fungsi untuk menjaga kendaraan agar tetap rigid dan tidak mengalami bending. Kerusakan yang umumnya dialami oleh chassis crash car X adalah crack dan korosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa terhadap adanya crack dan korosi pada Chassis kendaraan ARFF Crash Car Tipe 1 X yang dimiliki Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda-Surabaya, di samping itu peneliti juga akan melakukan analisa Chassis kendaraan ARFF Crash Car Tipe 1 untuk jenis yang lain yaitu ARFF Crash Car Tipe 1 Y dan Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari chassis dari ARFF Crash Car Tipe 1 yang digunakan Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda-Surabaya. Pada proses analisa data menggunakan FEM dengan bantuan aplikasi solidworks untuk mengetahui nilai von mises stress dan displacement chassis terhadap beban dan menggunakan perhitungan untuk mengetahui laju korosi. Dari hasil analisa diperoleh hasil chassis merk X memiliki konstruksi yang paling kurang baik dibandingkan chassis Y dan Z, dikarenakan nilai Von mises stress mendekati nilai yield strength  material yang digunakan,  memiliki nilai Displacement yang paling besar dan umur yang paling pendek. Selain itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa salah satu penyebab adanya crack dan korosi karena penggunaan double frame, sehingga ada celah udara sebagai penyebab terbentuknya korosi.

Abstract

Harmonics are a phenomenon that arises due to the use of non-linear loads in electric power systems. Harmonic problems in electric power systems are increasingly complex with the increasing use of non-linear equipment (for example: LED lights). In this research, harmonic measurements were carried out using a Power Analyzer measuring instrument. Measurements were taken for the Taxiway Light load on the South Runway at Soekarno Hatta Airport which uses LED lights. The measurement results show that high harmonic currents are still visible, exceeding the standard value of short circuit ratio for electrical installations of 15%. The largest harmonic currents are detected in the 3rd order with a frequency of 150 Hz (3 x 50 Hz). The percentage of current harmonics in the 3rd order reaches 108.02%, while the voltage harmonics have almost the same spectrum characteristics and occur in the odd order. The most significant voltage harmonics were detected in the 5th order, namely 5 x 50 Hz = 250 Hz with an average percentage of harmonic voltage at this frequency of 1.54%.

Abstract

The Latansa Murodak Islamic Boarding School is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Rancagong Village, Legok District, Tangerang, which organizes Islamic religious learning activities for students. This Islamic boarding school has major problems, namely a lack of clean water, no proper toilet, and no lighting. Another problem faced is the improper disposal of waste from bathrooms and kitchens. With this program, it is hoped that it will help this boarding school in learning activities more comfortably so that students can focus on gaining knowledge. The physical results of the implementation of the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Community Service Program are proper toilets, repair of lighting lamps, installation of pumps and water toren, and waste disposal sites.

Abstract

Water is essential for life, but not all people can access tap water. In fact, many people use ground water, which is not measured its purity, to supply household, places of worship, public facilities, private offices, government offices, and etc. This problem was also observed on Al-Ikhwan Mosque building Jl. Masjid RT 01 RW 08 Rancagong Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. In addition, in this place the water installation was not available. Therefore, it was feasible to carry out community service activities in that location regarding to clean water supply and installation. The method of this project were (1) drilling to make wells as clean water supply, (2) Calculating the need for clean water as the basis in determining the capacity and the type of water pump, (3) building water storage (equipped with a floating sensor as a control media turn the pump on or off automatically), and (4) piping to support distribution system of clean water from well to tap. This method was expected to meet Indonesian National Standard of clean water installation system. This project was supported by lecturers / instructors as their responsibility to practice Tridharma of higher education. Cadets/students was also involved in this project so they can demonstrate their knowledge about standard of building facilities in society.
