Abstract

The management of earnings or Earnings Management defined as management activities for adjusting earnings according to specific objectives. Therefore, empirical evidence showing the impact of Institutional and managerial Ownership, intellectual capital, audit quality on income management is necessary. 14 transportation companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange were surveyed in accordance with the research criteria. A purposeful sampling method collected data. The SPSS 23 application tests the multiple linear regression hypothesis. Of the variables used in this study, only intellectual capital has a positive impact on profit management and can be used as one of the indicators in future research to measure income management actions.

Abstract

This research is based on an understanding of the importance of having a positive influence by the students in online learning activities in terms of a Covid 19 pandemic. However, in fact, there are still many students who have behaviors that reflect the low level of student involvement in online learning. This study aims to determine the influence of virtual engagement and student perceptions in online learning. Respondents in this study were cadets of TLB 8 and 8 alpha cadets at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the provision of virtual engagement in the online teaching and learning process is very influential, that is, it can help students in the online teaching and learning process where student engagement needs are met from external factors (structure, autonomy support, and involvement) and internal factors (need for relatedness, need for competence, and need for autonomy). The perception of the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic cadets regarding virtual engagement in the online teaching and learning process in this pandemic era is very helpful, enjoyable, increases motivation, and trains discipline

Abstract

The spread of covid-19 in Indonesia requires all Cadets on campus under the Ministry of Transportation in Indonesia to be conducted online. Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug is one of the schools under the Ministry of Transportation that applies in the Covid-19 epidemic to online learning through the Zoom application. Zoom.us provides a version of Zoom Education as a form of CSR provided to schools affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Online learning's effectiveness is very important, so cadets understand the lessons during the Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM). This study aims to understand how effective online learning is conducted at Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug using the Zoom application. This research uses a qualitative research method and data collection techniques by conducting interview techniques. This research resulted in online learning conducted with a zoom application at Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug. Online learning got an excellent response from cadets because it offered greater flexibility in their studies. Online learning makes cadets more independent but also encourages cadets more active when learning. In addition, acceptance and the understanding delivered by lecturers can be felt by the Cadets at Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug. But this online learning system also has weaknesses: limited cadets quota, which causes not all cadets to go online by activating the video so that lecturers cannot see all activities carried out by cadets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui LGBT dalam pandangan Islam, Sosial Kewarganegaraan dan Kemanusiaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam memandang LGBT sebagai tindakan yang bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam dan tidak dapat ditolerir serta tidak sah secara hukum. Meski demikian, Islam memandang LGBT sebagai kaum yang tidak layak dihina, namun Islam memberikan toleransi bagi kaum LGBT. Toleransi ini bukan berarti Islam membenarkan aktivitas seksual yang dilakukan oleh kaum LGBT, tetapi Islam mengakui bahwa LGBT adalah realitas kehidupan dimana kaum ini tetap diperbolehkan untuk melaksanakan ibadah seperti shalat dan zakat serta ibadah lainnya. Sedangkan dalam perspektif sosial kewarganegaraan dan kemanusiaan LGBT tidak dapat dipisahkan karena berkaitan dengan Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM). Negara perlu hadir dalam memberantas dan menghukum pelaku pelecehan dan diskriminasi terhadap setiap individu, termasuk kelompok LGBT. Oleh karena itu, tidak ada pembenaran untuk mendiskriminasi kaum LGBT baik secara sosial, ekonomi, maupun hukum, namun bukan berarti negara memberikan kebebasan atas aktivitas seksual yang dilakukannya, karena selama ini belum ada undang-undang yang mengatur hal tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak perkembangan teknologi informasi dan media sosial terhadap konsep kebebasan berpendapat dalam Pancasila di era digital. Dalam era ini, kebebasan berpendapat menjadi semakin kompleks dengan munculnya tantangan seperti penyebaran berita palsu, polarisasi, dan pelanggaran privasi. Penelitian ini juga mempertimbangkan implikasi dari tantangan dan batasan dalam kebebasan berpendapat terhadap stabilitas sosial dan politik Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan teknologi informasi dan media sosial telah memberikan peluang besar bagi individu untuk menyampaikan pandangan mereka, namun juga membawa risiko penyebaran berita palsu dan polarisasi. Pengaturan konten online yang bijak, penegakan hukum yang efektif, dan peningkatan literasi media di antara masyarakat menjadi kunci untuk menjaga keseimbangan antara kebebasan berpendapat dan perlindungan terhadap masyarakat. Implikasi dari tantangan ini meliputi potensi kerusakan stabilitas sosial dan politik, yang memerlukan upaya bersama dari pemerintah, platform digital, masyarakat sipil, dan individu untuk mengatasi dampak negatifnya. Kesimpulannya, menjaga keseimbangan antara kebebasan berpendapat dan perlindungan masyarakat di dunia digital adalah tantangan yang kompleks, tetapi sangat penting untuk masa depan Indonesia di era digital ini

Abstract

The inadequate information among high school students towards the airport mechanical engineering (TMB) has urged the need to publicize TMB more extensively. One of the endeavors is to conduct activities introducing the clean water distribution system at the airport as an implementation of one of the competencies of the TMB, namely the Water Pumping System. The purpose of this activity is not only to attract the interest of participants to continue their education at PPI Curug, especially in the TMB but also to provide basic knowledge about clean water distribution. This activity was attended by students from SMK Penerbangan Dirgantara along with companion teachers. The activity was conducted using two methods: delivering the material in the classroom, followed by practical exercises in the Water Pumping System laboratory. The participants were then evaluated during working on a simulation project of clean water distribution. Through this community service activity, participants gained not only knowledge and information about the TMB and its competencies but also acquired knowledge and skills related to the clean water distribution system. They had the opportunity to directly practice and experience the clean water distribution system and the piping system.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the protection of indigenous peoples' rights in the context of the aviation industry based on Pancasila values faces complex challenges. Although there have been efforts to establish a legal basis that respects these rights, their implementation in the aviation sector is still limited. This research aims to explore the implementation of Pancasila values in the protection of indigenous peoples' rights in the aviation sector and identify collaborative steps that can be taken by the government, the aviation industry, and other stakeholders. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies, this study evaluates challenges such as the lack of participation of indigenous peoples in aviation project decisions and the lack of effective law enforcement. The results show that cooperation between governments, airlines, civil society, and indigenous peoples is essential to strengthen the protection of their rights. It is also necessary to evaluate the impact of airport development policies to ensure the protection of land rights and the sustainability of indigenous peoples' culture. The involvement of indigenous peoples in the planning of aviation projects is a concrete step to ensure the alignment of aviation infrastructure development with Pancasila values and the rights of indigenous peoples

Abstract

Conveyors are a key component in the baggage transportation process at the airport, and bearings play an important role in maintaining optimal performance. Often there is a problem with the release of Polyurethane rubber from the bearing that occurs in the Pressure Roller. In this study, the level 1 R&D research method was used by utilizing 3D modeling simulations to analyze the effect of bearing modifications on conveyor performance. By modifying the bearings on the conveyor at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, this research aims to increase the efficiency of the baggage handling system. The results of this study provide practical recommendations for the implementation of bearing modifications on conveyors at other airports with the aim of increasing operationa performance and efficiency. The results of this research can also become the basis for developing a more efficient baggage handling system at other airports

Abstract

The quality of cooling water used in cooling towers can affect operational efficiency as well as the service life of the equipment. Therefore, an accurate and real-time monitoring system is needed to monitor Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) in cooling water. This system is designed to provide accurate and real-time information about TDS levels in cooling water, enabling operational personnel to take necessary preventive and corrective actions in a timely manner. This allows operational personnel to detect changes in water quality early and take necessary action to prevent damage to the cooling system. In addition, the system can also assist in effective maintenance planning, by enabling the identification of changing trends in water quality over time.

Abstract

Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta (YIA) adalah bandar udara yang dibangun di Kecamatan Temon, Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Pada Bandar Udara ini, terdapat permasalahan salah satunya adalah persebaran suhu dan pengoperasian jalur supply AHU yang belum maksimal, hal ini dapat dilihat dari persebaran suhu antar ruangan belum merata, salah satunya yaitu disekitar ruang keberangkatan Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta khususnya pada ruang tunggu gate 3 dan ruangan concordia lounge. Untuk memaksimalkan persebaran suhu antar ruangan di sekitar ruang keberangkatan Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta agar lebih merata dan memberikan rasa nyaman bagi penggunanya. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu metode yang menjelaskan segala hal yang terjadi dilapangan serta berorientasi pada fenomena yang terjadi secara menyeluruh, serta penulis menggunakan analisis SWOT (strengths, weakness, opportunities, dan threats). Dari penelitian ini maka diperoleh cara agar melakukan penambahan alat automatic damper pada jalur supply AHU
