ABSTRAKResusitasi jantung paru (CPR) sangat penting dalam menyelamatkan nyawa saat henti jantung. Namun, kompetensi perawat dalam melakukan high quality cardio pulmonary resuscitation (HQ-CPR) masih menjadi tantangan, terutama di fasilitas kesehatan primer. Tujuan penelitian: Studi ini bertujuan mengevaluasi dampak workshop HQ-CPR terhadap kompetensi perawat di pusat layanan kesehatan primer di Indonesia. Metode: Desain praeksperimental pretest-posttest satu kelompok digunakan. Sebanyak 28 perawat mengikuti workshop. Kompetensi dinilai menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi yang telah divalidasi. Intervensi dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2024 selama 9 jam. Pretestdilakukan selama 30 menit, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian materi, kemudian istirahat, dan dilanjutkan dengan posttest selama 30 menit. Instrumen untuk mengukur kompetensi berupa kuesioner yang telah valid dan reliabel dan lembar observasi SOP HQ-CPR. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi perawat setelah workshop (p = 0,001). Sebelum dilakukan intervensi, hanya 16 perawat yang kompeten dan setelah dilakukan intervensi, seluruh perawat kompeten. Semua peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan, dengan 100% mencapai kompetensi setelah workshop. Diskusi: Hasil penelitian ini mendukung teori andragogi yang menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran akan lebih efektif bila berbasis pada pengalaman, partisipatif, dan relevan dengan praktik. Workshop HQ-CPR sebagai metode edukasi yang mampu mentransfer pengetahuan sekaligus meningkatkan keterampilan praktis, terutama dalam keterampilan kritis seperti HQ-CPR. Kesimpulan: Workshop HQ-CPR secara efektif meningkatkan kompetensi perawat dan menekankan perlunya pelatihan rutin untuk mempertahankan standar tinggi dalam perawatan darurat. Research Objective: This research aims to evaluate the impact of an HQ-CPR workshop on nurses’ competence in primary healthcare centers in Indonesia. Methods: A one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design was employed. A total of 28 nurses participated in the workshop. Competence was assessed using validated questionnaires and observation checklists. The intervention was conducted in June 2024 over a duration of 9 hours. A 30-minute pre-test was administered, followed by material delivery, a break, and then a 30-minute post-test. Competence was measured using a validated and reliable questionnaire and a standard HQ-CPR procedural observation checklist. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Results: The findings revealed a significant improvement in nurses’ competence following the workshop (p = 0.001). Prior to the intervention, only 16 nurses were deemed competent; following the intervention, all 28 participants achieved competency. All participants demonstrated increased knowledge and practical skills, with 100% achieving competence after the workshop. Discussion: These results support the principles of andragogy, which suggest that adult learning is more effective when it is experience-based, participatory, and relevant to practice. The HQ-CPR workshop proved to be an effective educational strategy for transferring knowledge and enhancing practical skills, particularly in critical procedures such as HQ-CPR.
